Rural credit cooperatives in spain (1890‐1935): a good start was not enough
The spread of agrarian credit cooperativism in Spain (1890‐1934) was done under a variety of ideological and economic orientations. This article focuses on the construction of a few tools and indicators to explain the characteristics of agricultural credit cooperatives. An analysis of financial operations of rural savings banks is related with socio‐political aspects that influenced their development; this analysis helps us to explain the relative success of German credit cooperative models adopted in the context of Spanish agriculture, as happened on European periphery.Agrarian credit cooperativism, rural savings banks, denominational movement.
Neutrinoless decay nuclear matrix elements in an isotopic chain
We analyze nuclear matrix elements (NME) of neutrinoless double beta decay
calculated for the Cadmium isotopes. Energy density functional methods
including beyond mean field effects such as symmetry restoration and shape
mixing are used. Strong shell effects are found associated to the underlying
nuclear structure of the initial and final nuclei. Furthermore, we show that
NME for two-neutrino double beta decay evaluated in the closure approximation,
, display a constant proportionality with respect to
the Gamow-Teller part of the neutrinoless NME, . This
opens the possibility of determining the matrix
elements from Gamow-Teller strength functions. Finally, the
interconnected role of deformation, pairing, configuration mixing and shell
effects in the NMEs is discussed
Cp2TiCl/D2O/Mn, a formidable reagent for the deuteration of organic compounds
Cp2TiCl/D2O/Mn is an efficient combination, sustainable and cheap reagent that mediates the D-atom transfer from D2O to different
functional groups and can contribute to the synthesis of new deuterated organic compounds under friendly experimental conditions
and with great economic advantages. The Spanish MICINN (Project CTQ2015-70724-R)University of Sevill

The ozone flame
The Ozone flame structure is analyzed from the point of view of asymptotic methods, using the fact that the ratios of the characteristic times associated with the different reactions, which change with the flame temperature and therefore with the initial Ozone concentration, take values very large or very small compared with unity. A two-zone structure is found for the flame, with simplified forms of the reaction mechanism for each of the zones
