[Resumo] O pronunciamento do Tribunal Constitucional na Sentenza do 16 de xullo de 2014 non cerrou a polémica acerca da razoabilidade e xustificación do período de proba dun ano no contrato indefinido de apoio aos emprendedores. A pesar de que o apoia, pola súa configuración podería pensarse que no referente a ese primeiro ano de proba este contrato se aproxima máis a un contrato temporal sen causa extintiva e sen indemnización que a un cun auténtico período de proba.[Abstract] The decision of the Constitutional Court of 16th July 2014 did not settle the controversy about the reasonableness and justification of the one-year testing period of the indefinite contract to support entrepreneurs. Despite its support, because of its configuration, we could think that this contract is closer to a temporary contract without cause and without compensation, and not a real testing period

[Resumo] O debate acerca da protección laboral da muller embarazada non se resolve con esta sentenza do Tribunal Constitucional, na medida en que suscita unha interesante reflexión acerca da tutela antidiscriminatoria das traballadoras embarazadas en caso de que se dea por finalizado o seu contrato de traballo durante o período de proba. A cuestión que se formula é se resulta posible estender a este suposto a protección dispensada no art. 55.5.b) do Estatuto dos traballadores para o caso de despedimento, ou se por tratarse de institucións diferentes unha protección tan ampla non resulta factible.[Abstract] The debate about labour protection of pregnant women does not settle this Constitutional Court decision, since it raises an interesting consideration about the anti-discrimination protection of pregnant workers in the event that their employment contract is resolved during the testing period. The question that arises is whether it is possible to extend the protection to these cases provided in the art. 55.5 b) of the Workers’ Statute provided in case of dismissal, or whether they are different institutions such large protection is not possible

Characterizations involving conditional expectations based on a functional derivative approach

We introduce a notion of the derivative with respect to a distribution function, not relating necessarily to probability, which generalizes the concept of the derivative as proposed by Lebesgue (1973). The differential calculus required to solve the linear differential equation involved in this notion of the derivative is included in the paper. The definition given here may also be considered as the inverse operator of a modified notion of the Riemmann--Stieltjes integral. Both this unified approach and the results of differential calculus allow us to characterize distributions in terms of three different types of conditional expectations. In applying these results, a test of goodness-of-fit is also indicated. Finally, two characterizations of a general Poisson process are included, based on conditional expectations. Specifically, a useful result for the homogeneous Poisson process is generalized to a general context

Considerations on Designing a Geo-targeted AR Application

AbstractWhen designing an AR application for mobile devices there are some factors to take into account such as gyroscope drift and device orientation, compass noise and six axis or accelerometer and GPS sensors accuracy. This work focuses on Geo- targeted Augmented Reality applications. We expose the procedure followed to design an AR framework almost from scratch from the software design point of view. We have also detailed the technical difficulties encountered during the development of the application and how they were addressed. Finally we propose some guidelines and recommendations for future work and improvements which can also serve as a common pattern design for Geo-tagging AR applications
