Propiedades psicométricas del Inventario Obsesivo de Leyton para Niños Versión Corta en una muestra comunitaria de niños y adolescentes
The aim of the current study was to analyze psychometric properties of the Short LOI-CV in Spanish community sample. Participants were 914 children and adolescents with mean age of 13.01 years (51.3% males). An EFA yielded a three-factor model representing Obsessions, Compulsions, and Cleanliness dimensions. Both, total score and subscales showed an adequate internal consistency. The Spanish version also exhibited good test-retest reliability and moderate convergent and discriminant validity. The younger participants (from 8 to 10 years) obtained higher means for total score and subscales than older participants (groups 11-13 and 14-18 years). Significant differences related to gender were also observed since males obtained higher means in Compulsions subscale. Despite more research is required, the Spanish version of the Short LOI-CV exhibited promising psychometric results to assess obsessive-compulsive symptoms in community population.El objetivo de este estudio fueanalizar las propiedades psicométricas del ShortLOI-CVen unamuestra españolacomunitaria.Los participantes fueron 914 niñosyadolescentescon edad mediade13.01años (varones =51.3%).ElAFE mostróun modelo de tresfactores compuesto por los dominios Obsesiones, CompulsionesyLimpieza. Anorexia nervosa exhibits high comorbidity rates and
shared features with anxiety disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Anxiety-based etiological models have proposed that fear of eating-related
stimuli is the central mechanism around which avoidance of food and foodrelated
rituals are performed. Building on this approach, exposure-based
interventions have demonstrated promising results. Limited evidence in
adolescents encourages the evaluation of exposure approaches in this
population. Method: The current study presents a preliminary evaluation,
in eight adolescents with anorexia nervosa, of an exposure-based CBT
featuring an intensive format and parental involvement. Results:
signifi cant improvements in physical and psychological outcomes were
observed. Conclusions: this case series provides preliminary support
for the effi cacy of intensive family exposure-based CBT for treating
adolescents with severe anorexia nervosa.Psicologí
Obsessive Compulsive Inventory-Child Version (OCI-CV) in a Spanish community sample of children and adolescents
There is a growing interest in designing instruments to
assess obsessive-compulsive symptoms in children. The Obsessive-
Compulsive Inventory-Child Version (OCI-CV) has showed to be a valid
in the evaluation of OCD in clinical and nonclinical populations. The
main goal in this study was to analyze factor structure and psychometric
properties of the OCI-CV in a community Spanish sample. Method: Data
were collected from 914 children/adolescents with a mean age of 13.01
(SD = 1.96; Males = 51.3%). Exploratory factor analysis was carried out
in order to study the internal structure of the OCI-CV Spanish version.
Further, internal consistency, test-retest reliability, and convergent and
discriminant validity of the total score and the factors obtained were
examined. Finally, age and gender differences were also explored. Results:
Exploratory factor analysis yielded a similar structure to the original
OCI-CV with the following six factors: Washing/Checking, Obsession,
Ordering, Doubting, Neutralizing, and Hoarding. The internal consistency
was strong for the total score, but moderate for the subscales. The Spanish
version of the OCI-CV showed evidences of test-retest reliability and
convergent and discriminant validity. Conclusion: The Spanish version
of the OCI-CV is an instrument with adequate psychometric properties to
assess obsessions and compulsions in Spanish children/adolescents.Psicologí

Eficacia de un programa de entrenamiento a padres para la mejora del bienestar psicológico y la satisfacción familiar: Educar con una sonrisa (“Parenting with a Smile”)
The purpose of this study was to design, implement and analyse the effectiveness of the parent training program Parenting with a smile, taking it as a structured role model in a psychoeducational intervention which aims to reduce anxiety, depression and stress symptoms by increasing the family satisfaction, the training in parenting skills and the change in attitude from parents with children aged between 0 and 12. A quasi-experimental study with a sample of 68 parents was carried out along with a pretest-posttest evaluation of the parents’ clinical symptoms in relation to anxiety, depression and stress by using the Abreviated Depression Anxiety Stress Scale [Escala Abreviada de Depresión, Ansiedad y Estrés (DASS-21)], of the family satisfaction following the Family Satisfaction by Adjectives Scale (FSAS) [Escala de Satisfacción Familiar por Adjetivos (ESFA)] and finally of the skills and cognitive dimensions related to parenting through the Questionnaire for the assessment of adopters, carers, tutors and mediators [Cuestionario para la Evaluación de Adoptantes, Cuidadores, Tutores y Mediadores (CUIDA)]. The reductions in clinical symptoms scores and the increase in family satisfaction and parenting skills, except for Altruism, shown in Wilcoxon test are significant.El objetivo del presente estudio consistió en diseñar, aplicar y analizar la eficacia del programa de entrenamiento para padres Educar con una sonrisa como modelo estructurado de intervención psicoeducativa destinado a la disminución de la sintomatología ansiosa, depresiva y el estrés a través del aumento de la satisfacción familiar y la instrucción en habilidades de crianza y cambio de actitud en padres de hijos de entre 0 y 12 años. Se llevó a cabo un estudio cuasi-experimental con una muestra de 68 padres. Se realizó una evaluación pretest- postest de la sintomatología clínica de los padres relacionada con la ansiedad, la depresión y el estrés a través de la Escala Abreviada de Depresión, Ansiedad y Estrés (DASS-21), de la satisfacción familiar según la Escala de Satisfacción Familiar por Adjetivos (ESFA) y de las habilidades y dimensiones cognitivas en relación con la crianza mediante el Cuestionario para la Evaluación de Adoptantes, Cuidadores, Tutores y Mediadores (CUIDA). El test de Wilcoxon mostró que las reducciones en las puntuaciones de la sintomatología clínica y los incrementos en la satisfacción familiar y habilidades de crianza, salvo para Altruismo, son significativas

Eficacia de los tratamientos cognitivo-conductuales en el tratamiento del trastorno obsesivo-compulsivo en niños y adolescentes: una revisión cualitativa
Se presentan los resultados de un estudio cualitativo de revisión de la eficacia de los tratamientos cognitivo-conductuales utilizados en el trastorno obsesivo-compulsivo en niños y adolescentes. Se localizaron y recuperaron un total de 84 estudios, de los cuales 17 consistían en informes de caso, 37 en diseños de caso único, 19 estudios pre-experimentales con diseño pre-postest, 6 estudios cuasi-experimentales y 5 estudios experimentales con grupo de control. El procedimiento más utilizado en los diferentes estudios ha sido la exposición con prevención de respuesta, siendo además el de mayor eficacia. Se constata la baja representación de estudios de comparación tanto cuasi-experimentales como experimentales, al igual que la escasez de medidas de seguimiento a medio y largo plazo, la falta de utilización de medidas observacionales y el escaso control de la sintomatología encubierta y trastornos comórbido
