    The analysis of the status of bank lending in the real sector is carried out.  The scope of credits for financing of subjects of the real economy are estimated. In order to determine the impact of bank lending on the state of the real economy, the relationship between the volume of loans provided by banks to the country's economy, assets of the banking industry and the main macroeconomic indicator - GDP have been established.The application of economic-mathematical modeling in the study of the banking sector's activity enabled the collection and streamlining of statistical information on the main parameters of the development of the banking system; using the least squares method, to construct a six-factor linear regression model of the influence of the factors of the banking system on GDP on a matrix basis;  the correlation between the indicators of the NBU discount rate, the exchange rate, inflation, return on assets and capital of the banking system, the interest rate on loans are investigated.It is determined that the lending  of the real economy sector in Ukraine needs a substantial rethinking in the direction of orientation of banking institutions to lends of priority activities in the national economy.The practical application of the calculations enables to increase the level of the National Bank's management in order to ensure the efficient functioning of both individual banking institutions and the banking system as a whole since the further growth of Ukraine depends on the stable development of the banking system, the possibility of entering the international financial markets and active participation in the globalization processes. A reliable and developed banking sector plays an extremely important role in stabilizing the country's economy.Проведен анализ банковского кредитования реального сектора. Оценены масштабы объемов кредитов для финансирования субъектов реальной экономики. С целью определения влияния банковского кредитования на состояние реальной экономики установлена зависимость между объемом кредитов, предоставленных банками в экономику страны, активами банковской отрасли и основным макроэкономическим показателем - ВВП. Проведен факторный анализ влияния банковского кредитования на состояние реального сектора экономики в условиях экономической нестабильности. Определено, что система кредитования реального сектора экономики в Украине требует существенного переосмысления в направлении ориентации банковских учреждений на первоочередное кредитование приоритетных в национальной экономике видов деятельности.Проведено аналіз стану банківського кредитування реального сектору. Оцінено масштаби обсягів кредитів для фінансування суб’єктів реальної економіки. З метою визначення впливу банківського кредитування на стан реальної економіки встановлено залежність між обсягом кредитів, наданими банками в економіку країни, активами банківської галузі та основним макроекономічним показником – ВВП.  Проведено факторний аналіз впливу кредитоутворюючих чинників на стан розвитку реального сектора економіки в умовах економічної нестабільності. Визначено, що система кредитування реального сектору економіки в Україні потребує суттєвого переосмислення в напрямі орієнтації банківських установ на першочергове кредитування пріоритетних у національній економіці видів діяльності

    The mediating role of shared flow and perceived emotional synchrony on compassion for others in a mindful-dancing program

    While there is a growing understanding of the relationship between mindfulness and compassion, this largely relates to the form of mindfulness employed in first-generation mindfulness-based interventions such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. Consequently, there is limited knowledge of the relationship between mindfulness and compassion in respect of the type of mindfulness employed in second-generation mindfulness-based interventions (SG-MBIs), including those that employ the principle of working harmoniously as a “secular sangha.” Understanding this relationship is important because research indicates that perceived emotional synchrony (PES) and shared flow—that often arise during participation in harmonized group contemplative activities—can enhance outcomes relating to compassion, subjective well-being, and group identity fusion. This pilot study analyzed the effects of participation in a mindful-dancing SG-MBI on compassion and investigated the mediating role of shared flow and PES. A total of 130 participants were enrolled into the study that followed a quasi-experimental design with an intervention and control group. Results confirmed the salutary effect of participating in a collective mindful-dancing program, and demonstrated that shared flow and PES fully meditated the effects of collective mindfulness on the kindness and common humanity dimensions of compassion. Further research is warranted to explore whether collective mindfulness approaches, such as mindful dancing, may be a means of enhancing compassion and subjective well-being outcomes due to the mediating role of PES and shared flow.N/

    A morphological and sedimentological analysis of rogen moraine on the Avalon Peninsula, Newfoundland

    This thesis re-examines the glacial landscape of the central Avalon Peninsula, Newfoundland, Canada. Specifically, it focuses on an area of moraine ridges, previous studies of which have generated conflicting interpretation of genesis and deglacial significance. For instance, it has been interpreted as a series of recessional moraines, and as a field of Rogen moraines. In light of new developments in our understanding of subglacial landscape processes, and in the available technology for mapping and analysis of digital topographic data, it is an appropriate time to re-analyse this landscape and evaluate past interpretations. -- Several methods of data acquisition were employed for this study; air photo interpretation of black and white photos at the 1:50 000 scale and colour photos at the 1:12 500 scale, field research including a review of the sedimentology of the moraine ridges, the construction of a Digital Elevation Model (OEM) for a portion of the study area, and the calculation of moraine ridge orientation within a GIS. -- The moraine ridges of the central Avalon Peninsula are considered to be classical examples of Rogen moraine. An examination of the moraine field using the 1:5000 scale digital elevation model (OEM) with an elevation resolution between 5 and 10m revealed a suite of glacial landforms, including Rogen moraine, hummocky moraine, flutes, meltwater channels and large streamlined bedrock ridges. Rogen and hummocky moraine were found in close association with each other and represent end members of a transitional landform assemblage, with neither landform overprinting the other. An examination of the intern al composition of both Rogen and hummocky moraine revealed similar sediments and structures that suggest deposition via melt-out and sediment gravity flows. The sediment within Rogen moraines and hummocky moraines was transported and deposited subglacially, and later melted out of stagnating ice. -- The timing of glacial events on the Avalon Peninsula are difficult to constrain, but the internal composition and morphology of the Rogen moraines suggest that they were formed during deglaciation. During this phase the ice centre shifted from over the central Avalon Peninsula to the head of St. Mary's Bay. Ice flow out of St. Mary's Bay was radial, with the dominant ice flow direction being in the northeastward direction, and a secondary ice flow northwards into Trinity Bay. The final deglaciation of the Avalon Peninsula is constrained by the C¹⁴ date of 10 100 +/- 250 y BP, from pollen in basal pond sediments. -- The predominant hypotheses of Rogen moraine formation found in the literature were examined in the context of the Avalon Rogen moraines, but currently it is difficult to use any of these previous developed ideas to explain the formation of Rogen moraine on the Avalon Peninsula

    Diamond detectors’ response to intense high-energy electron pulses

    Diamond crystals are characterised by wide band gap and high binding energy, making them suitable as solid-state particle detectors, beam-loss monitors and dosimeters in high-radiation environments, such as particle colliders. In order to use them as radiation and beam-loss monitors, our diamond detectors are calibrated in steady conditions with different radiation sources, comparing the measurement results with dedicated simulations. However large radiation bursts may lead to a non-linear signal response. For this purpose we studied their transient response to collimated, sub-picosecond, ∼1 GeV electron beam bunches, with a bunch charge of tens of pC, provided by the FERMI electron linac in Trieste. In these experimental conditions the ionisation generates large charge carrier density in the diamond bulk. This high charge causes a transient modification of diamond electrical properties, which affects the output signal shape. The observed signal evolution in the time domain shows fair agreement with a two-step numerical simulation of the diamond time response to these intense high-energy pulses
