Obiettivo di questo lavoro Ăš illustrare i risultati dellâindagine sulla customer satisfaction svolta dalla Consip S.p.a.. Per misurare la customer satisfaction Ăš stato adottato il modello ECSI, dove la soddisfazione Ăš intesa come un costrutto di natura multidimensionale non direttamente osservabile o misurabile e legato da relazioni di causalitĂ con altri costrutti (immagine, attese, qualitĂ percepita, valore percepito, fedeltĂ e reclami) anchâessi non direttamente osservabili, ma riconducibili a variabili osservate (manifeste). Chapter Emergency remote teaching: an explorative tool
The worldwide rapid spread and severity of the infectious disease caused by Coronavirus forced the WHO to declare a global state of pandemic emergency during March 2020, by leading the governments around the world to adopt policies that created the widest rift of education systems in human history. Italy have temporarily closed each educational institution, by causing the disruption of tertiary education for 16.89% of the Italian learnerâs population. To ensure the âpedagogic continuityâ, universities adopted the transitioning from traditional face-to-face to online learning. This paradigm shift to fully remote teaching solutions represents the so-called emergency remote teaching (ERT) in contrast to the traditional teaching inspired by Bologna process principles such as teaching quality and student satisfaction. In a landscape of emerging difficulties connected to ERT contexts, the quality assurance of higher education recalled by the Bologna Process may be not appropriate. We propose an evaluation model for the quality and ERT success across two dimensions used as proxy variables: studentsâ engagement (SE) and success performance (SP). Within the faculties, we analysed the performance and hence the knowledge, skills and/or attitudes acquired by learners, within the students, the focus was the engagement as interest, motivation and involvement. Under this perspective our research question has an explorative nature: we are interested in detecting empirical evidence about the learning assessment and engagement in higher education with focus on studentsâ engagement and their success performance during ERT. The investigation carried out on Iulm Universityâs student population (N=775). We integrated textual data related to the students evaluation of ERT and their career data such as credits, marks before and post disease. The results show the relations between the two dimensions taken into account, with a multidimensional approach we created a factorial plan useful to create an agile tool of analysis in the ERT context
Chapter Innovation and sustainability: the Italian scenario
Society and policy makers demand innovation systems oriented towards several goals of sustainable development. Therefore, recent literature has dedicated a growing interest to both innovation and sustainability in the pursuit of environmental, economic and social development; in addition, the emerging topic of âsustainable innovationâ (and âeco-innovationâ) seems to combine the main features of them. The definition of these concepts has been significantly changed during the last decades, and a broad discussion continues today about which indicators should be used to measure innovation, sustainability and their combination. The current paper investigates this relationship, and - in the authorsâ opinion - the research question connected to the impact of the innovative product (and service and process) solutions on sustainability can be addressed by means of a stable theoretical framework. To study the interaction between innovation and sustainability, the usage of specific territorial features might represent a useful perspective to manage short-and long-term environmental and economic issues. As for the theoretical model, the present article considers a specific technique suitable for investigating the entire set of characteristics involved in the model. From a public makers and managerial point of view, the possibility of improving the firmâ efficiencies in terms of several dimensions of sustainable innovation represents a relevant topic that must be encouraged
Chapter A bibliometric study of global research activity in relation to the use of partial least squares for policy evaluation
Structural equation modeling (SEM), especially partial least squares path modeling (PLS-PM) has become a mainstream method in many fields of research. In the last years it has been increasingly disseminated in a variety of disciplines. The researchers have been promoting this new statistical methods for the evaluation of policies. Generally, policy evaluation applies evaluation principles and methods to examine the content, implementation or impact of a policy. To better understand and characterize this trend, a bibliometric study of international papers on this subject has been developed in order to describe the use of SEM and PLS-PM approaches in the policy evaluation in the almost last 20 years. A total of 450 articles from 2000 to 2020 have been selected and analyzed in order to discover the research trends in this field and the main dimensions and words related to the terms âdecision makingâ and âSEM-PLSâ approach, that are most commonly employed in the scientific literature. The research has been conducted in theWeb of Science from ISI Web of Knowledge database and Scopus database, with the aim of identifying the major themes, authors, areas, types of the sources, titles, years of publication and countries of these publications, as well as the main themes related to the two topic analyze
Can elearning platform use augment the statistical learning? Some evidence from Italy
The study of statistics, in degree programs not specifically designed, is one of the most difficult obstacles to overcome in the studentsâ perspective. Italian students have a superficial knowledge of mathematics and they tend to assimilate the statistics to the mathematics so they develop prejudices towards statistics too.
In the last time the PISA-OCSE surveys indicate a slight improvement in the understanding of mathematics at the level of high school, however, we are still far from the European average. The statistical literacy can be considered as latent construct measured through observed repeated variables linked to the passed exams. In detail, the analysis uses the scores generated from e-learning tool (MathXL) in 10 repeated occasions for each student conjointly to demographic and social aspects. The analysis of the statistical literacy growth carries on three cohortes of students in an Italian humanistic university for the academic years 2012-2013, 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 in students perspective. The statistical learning growth is investigated both through nonlinear latent growth modeling and latent state trait analysis. This choice comes from the rejection of linear trajectories previously tested and confirmed in the literature. The results for former two academic years highlight a nonlinear growth with
an effect of voto di diploma. The same results have been confirmed by latent state trait analysis. For the last academic year, the results can be avaible after ending of the course on April 2015
Chapter Sustainable Innovation: worldwide trends in the scientific production through a bibliometric study
The scientific production on the Innovation, especially on Sustainable Innovation, has grown in recent years. Various expressions and definitions for sustainability and innovation have been reported in the literature. Sometimes the two concepts are combined and described with one term, Sustainable Innovation. Research on sustainable innovation has grown in popularity due to the need to incorporate sustainability within business practices. The purpose of this study is to investigate the status and the evolution of the scientific studies on this topic and identify the worldwide trends in scientific production over time through a research conducted on the metadata of Web of Science, a database commonly used by researchers. A bibliometric analysis has been developed to analyse a total of 1,511 documents published between 2000 and 2021 in order to discover the research trends in this field and the main dimensions and words related to the term âSustainable Innovationâ
