MIRADAS DIVERSAS SOBRE LA ENSEÑANZA DE LA HISTORIA: EXPERIENCIAS EDUCATIVAS DE LAS LICENCIATURAS EN HISTORIA EN MÉXICO

Diverse Perspectives on the Teaching of History. Educational Experiences of History Degrees in Mexico is the title of this book that includes the reflections and debates of the History degrees of the various Mexican universities that make up the National Network of History Degrees and their Academic Bodies (RENALIHCA). The themes of the RENALIHCA meetings (2007-2015) have been a source of continuous discussion and reflection for teachers, researchers, graduates, and students in higher education institutions in the country and in Ibero-America. After these events, new problems have emerged regarding the teaching of history, some innovative projects, and questions about the curricula in the different institutions. Therefore, RENALIHCA and the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes convened the XI Meeting of the National Network of History Degrees and their Academic Bodies, as well as the V Ibero-American Meeting of History Degrees, with the purpose of exchanging experiences and establishing collaborative ties, and thus enriching the training of future historians.Miradas diversas sobre la enseñanza de la historia. Experiencias educativas de las licenciaturas en Historia en México es el título de este libro que incluye las reflexiones y debates de las licenciaturas en Historia de las varias universidades mexicanas que integran la Red Nacional de Licenciaturas en Historia y sus Cuerpos Académicos (RENALIHCA).Los temas de los encuentros de la RENALIHCA (2007-2015) han sido fuente de discusión y reflexión continua por parte de docentes, investigadores, egresados y estudiantes en las instituciones de educación superior del país y de Iberoamérica. Después de dichos eventos han aparecido nuevas problemáticas en torno a la enseñanza de la historia, algunos proyectos innovadores y cuestionamientos acerca de los planes y programas de estudio en las distintas instituciones. Por ello, la RENALIHCA y la Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes convocaron al XI Encuentro de la Red Nacional de Licenciaturas en Historia y sus Cuerpos Académicos, así como al v Encuentro Iberoamericano de Licenciaturas en Historia, con el propósito de intercambiar experiencias y establecer lazos de colaboración y, con ello, enriquecer la formación de los futuros historiadores

La renovación de la palabra en el bicentenario de la Argentina : los colores de la mirada lingüística

El libro reúne trabajos en los que se exponen resultados de investigaciones presentadas por investigadores de Argentina, Chile, Brasil, España, Italia y Alemania en el XII Congreso de la Sociedad Argentina de Lingüística (SAL), Bicentenario: la renovación de la palabra, realizado en Mendoza, Argentina, entre el 6 y el 9 de abril de 2010. Las temáticas abordadas en los 167 capítulos muestran las grandes líneas de investigación que se desarrollan fundamentalmente en nuestro país, pero también en los otros países mencionados arriba, y señalan además las áreas que recién se inician, con poca tradición en nuestro país y que deberían fomentarse. Humoral and cellular response induced by a second booster of an inactivated SARS-CoV-2 vaccine in adults

Indexación: ScopusBackground: The Omicron variant has challenged the control of the COVID-19 pandemic due to its immuno-evasive properties. The administration of a booster dose of a SARS-CoV-2 vaccine showed positive effects in the immunogenicity against SARS-CoV-2, effect that is even enhanced after the administration of a second booster. Methods: During a phase-3 clinical trial, we evaluated the effect of a second booster of CoronaVac®, an inactivated vaccine administered 6 months after the first booster, in the neutralization of SARS-CoV-2 (n = 87). In parallel, cellular immunity (n = 45) was analyzed in stimulated peripheral mononuclear cells by flow cytometry and ELISPOT. Findings: Although a 2.5-fold increase in neutralization of the ancestral SARS-CoV-2 was observed after the second booster when compared with prior its administration (Geometric mean units p < 0.0001; Geometric mean titer p = 0.0002), a poor neutralization against the Omicron variant was detected. Additionally, the activation of specific CD4+ T lymphocytes remained stable after the second booster and, importantly, equivalent activation of CD4+ T lymphocytes against the Omicron variant and the ancestral SARS-CoV-2 were found. Interpretation: Although the neutralizing response against the Omicron variant after the second booster of CoronaVac® was slightly increased, these levels are far from those observed against the ancestral SARS-CoV-2 and could most likely fail to neutralize the virus. In contrast, a robust CD4+T cell response may confer protection against the Omicron variant.
