Smallholder oil palm estate in Jambi Province is growing. Some indicators are land development, production, and employment. Smallholder oil palm estate can be a major driver of the economy so that the country can move other economic sectors, such as trade, transport, electricity and gas, manufacture small industrial and other sectors, which in turn increases the income of the village as a whole. This study aimed to determine (1) the development of oil palm estate seen from land, production, and employment in the province of Jambi (2) Impact of smallholder oil palm estate against Gross Regional Domestic Product Villages in Jambi Province. The research method used in this study is a survey method. This method of research was done deductively, by conducting an analysis of the object. Data were collected from primary sources and secondary sources. The development of oil palm plantations quantitatively analyzed descriptively. To determine whether the development of oil palm plantations had such an impact is determined by the formula LQ (Location Quotient) and the magnitude of the impact made by Formula ME (multiplier effect). To determine the value of LQ and ME the sample villages can be determined that a major driver of the sector (Prime mover sector) in the village economy. These results indicate that oil palm plantations have grown rapidly both views of land, production, and employment. Oil palm plantations have an impact on the income of the people of the village, where 9 of 20 samples villages have values LQ>1 with the average ME value was 1.4107, which means that any increase in palm oil revenue amounted toRp1, -it will be able to increase the income of the region village as a whole amounted to1.4107times. The impact is especially true of the sub-sectors of trade, transport sub-sector, and electricity and gas sub-sector. The impact is small relative to the manufacturing sector

This study aims to determine (1) the magnitude of the fluctuation in rubber prices (2) the pattern of production of rubber and the behavior of farmers in dealing with price fluctuations and (3) the elasticity of the supply of rubber in Jambi Province. This study uses a survey method with the scope of the study area being Jambi Province by selecting two villages purposively, namely Muhajirin Village in Muaro Jambi Regency and Tanah Grow Village in Bungo Regency. Supply elasticity will be analyzed using secondary data and parametric statistical tests. The results showed that the fluctuation in the price of rubber in Jambi Province was quite large, namely Rp. 4,200 per kg in January 2002, then increased to Rp. 43,200 in February 2011, and decreased again to Rp. 6,000 per kg in June 2020. The pattern of rubber production in Muhajirin Village looks irrational where when the price goes down the farmers actually increase their production, that is, in order to meet their daily needs that cannot be reduced. This means that production can still be increased by increasing tapping frequency. The pattern of rubber production in Tanah Tumbuh Village looks rational, where when the price of rubber goes down the farmers do not tap rubber. To meet the needs of farmers, they switch jobs to other fields, such as laboring on plantations, construction workers, or panning for gold. Rubber’s supply elasticity in responding to rubber price changes in Jambi Province is small from one (<1) but the change is significant.

This Research aims to determine the development of the rubber plantations in Jambi Muaro, knowing developments in construction area Muaro Jambi and determine the role of rubber plantations in the construction area in Jambi Muaro. Method of data analysis is descriptive analysis, microsoft excel application and analysis of a sector basis using the formulations Location Quotient (LQ), contribution analysis, shift share analysis and analysis of short-term multiplier. Based on the analysis that has been done shows that the development of rubber plantations in Muaro Jambi based on land area and production has increased trend, but based workforce is impaired. The development GDP growth rate increased Muaro Jambi. Then the rubber plantations in Muaro Jambi is the basis for sectors Muaro Jambi based on GDP at constant prices and GDP at current prices. But not a basis for indicators of sector workforce Muaro Jambi

This research aim to know the difference management of oil palm farming partner pattern and self-help pattern and analyze the income of oil palm farming with partner pattern and self-help pattern in District of Maro Sebo Ilir, Batanghari Regency. The selection was done deliberately with the consideration that the District of Maro Sebo Ilir is one of the areas of oil palm plantation which has the highest productivity in Batanghari Regency and has two pattern of palm oil farming. The sampling methodology using of simple random sampling method with respondent as many as 82 farmer’s consist of partner pattern as many as 42 farmer’s and self-help pattern as many as 40 farmer’s. Data analysis using the method two different test average method calculate by SPSS software. The results show that there is a difference between management of oil palm farming partner pattern and self-help pattern that caused by the existence of coaching and intensive control of the company, land productivity and fresh fruit bunch (FFB) quality that owned by partner pattern farmer’s are better than land productivity and fresh fruit bunch (FFB) quality that owned by self-help pattern farmer’s. The farmer’s income on the partner pattern is higher that self-help pattern income, where the average income of oil palm farming in research area for partner pattern is Rp. 29.873.936/Ha/Year and total cost is Rp. 16.589.355/Ha/Year. For oil palm farming self-help pattern, average income of palm oil farming is Rp. 22.456.318/Ha/Year and total cost is Rp. 15.028.142/Ha/Year. Key words : Income, Partnership, Oil Pal

This research was aimed to (1) know the role of rubber plantation on regional economic development in Batanghari Regency, (2) know and analyze the impact of rubber plantation on regional income and labor in Batanghari Regency, (3) know the relation of rubber plantation production with GDRP manufacturing industry, GDRP transportation and communication, and GDRP trade, hotels and restaurant. This research used Location Quotient (LQ) analysis, Shift-Share analysis, multiplier analysis, and correlation analysis. Based on the analysis, the result showed that rubber plantation contribute positively to GDRP and labor and its position as the base sector that drives other sectors. Calculation of shift-share analysis obtained by the growth of rubber plantation in Batanghari Regency has a fast growing income growth but at the level of Jambi Province grows slowly or is degenerate. Based on multiplier analysis on regional income was 23,24 and labor was 2,69 which means that every Rp 1,- increased income and 1 person labor on a rubber plantation will contribute to regional income and labor Rp 23,24 billion and 2,69 people or rounded to 3 people. Correlation analysis produce a close and positive relation between rubber plantation production with GDRP manufacturin

This study aims to: 1) determine the description of rubber farming on the profit sharing system in Mestong District, Muaro Jambi Regency, 2) examine the implementation of the rubber farming profit sharing system in Mestong District, Muaro Jambi Regency, 3) analyze rubber farming income on the profit sharing system in the Mestong, Muaro Jambi Regency, 4) analyze the differences in rubber farming income received by share farmers on the profit sharing system in Mestong District, Muaro Jambi Regency. This research was conducted in Mestong District, Muaro Jambi Regency, namely Pondok Meja Village and Sungai Landai Village. Respondent farmers in this study were rubber farmers who carried out a profit sharing system as many as 60 people with the division of 30 rubber farmers on a two-sharing system and 30 rubber farmers on a three-sharing system. The data analysis method used is descriptive and quantitative analysis consisting of income analysis and comparative analysis with the two-average difference test. The results showed that: 1) rubber farming in a double-division system was better than rubber farming in a triple-division system in terms of differences in plant age, production, output prices, use of fertilizers and herbicides, 2) implementation of a profit sharing system in rubber farming in the Mestong District differs in the system, namely the two-sharing system and the three-sharing system, where in its implementation there are differences with the profit sharing concept used, 3) the income of rubber farming in the two-sharing system is 15.34% bigger than the income of rubber farming in the three-sharing system with the difference is Rp. 4,554,595/ha/year, 4) there is no significant difference in the rubber farming income received by the share farmers in the two-sharing system and the triple-sharing system due to the balance of the results and the difference in land conditions in the two profit sharing system
