Identifying best practices for customer satisfaction in an Indian restaurant

    Get PDF
Customer satisfaction is a theoretical idea that involves various factors such as the quality of the product, the quality of the service provided, the atmosphere of the location where the customer purchased product or service, as well as the price of the product or service. In other words, customer satisfaction is a measurement that helps us to know about the expectation of the customers. Therefore, it is not easy to measure the actual level of customer satisfaction. The aim of the study is to find the significant reasons for customer satisfaction and dissatisfaction in Mithaiwala restaurant. The Mithaiwala restaurant is in Frankton, Hamilton, and this restaurant is a part of Mithai Investment Limited Company that is located in Auckland. The store in Auckland provides the stock for the restaurant in Hamilton. The company was incorporated on 12 March 2015 and registered on 27 June 2016. This study examines the internal and external analysis of the restaurant. In this report, the researcher has analysed different factors that have significant impact on customer satisfaction, such as, the quality of product and service, customer satisfaction strategies, and competitive advantages. These factors show how to add value at a low price, reveal marketing channels, provide skill advantages, are socially sound, and indicate the competitive location of the restaurant as well as showing value for money. A competitive analysis has also been completed as part of this report. Quantitative research methodology was used for the research to measure the satisfaction level by undertaking a survey. A questionnaire consisting of 13 questions was distributed. The research result was analysed through pie charts and bar graphs. According to the result, most of the customers were highly satisfied with the price, location, taste of the food and customer service of the restaurant. After analysing the result, the researcher discussed the whole research report and drew conclusions. At the end of the report, the researcher provides some recommendations on the basis of the conclusion to increase the level of customer satisfaction in order to promote expansion and growth of the business

Feasibility of using high temperature superconducting magnets and conventional magnetic loop antennas to attract or repel objects at the space station

A study was undertaken to see if magnetic forces can be used at the Space Station to attract or repel spacecrafts such as the Orbital Manuevering Vehicle (OMV) or the Orbiter. A large magnet, in the form of a current loop, is assumed to be placed at the Space Station and another one on the spacecraft. The expression for the force between the two dipoles (loops) is obtained. Using a force of 15 Newtons (3.4 pounds) in order to move the spacecraft, the number of ampere-turn needed in the current loops was calculated at various distances between them. The expression for the force of attraction between a current loop and a soft magnetic material was also examined and the number of amp-turn needed to provide a force of one-tenth of a pound at various distances is also calculated. This one tenth of a pound force would be used in a life line system for the retrieval of an adrift crewman or tool at the Space Station. The feasibility of using conventional antenna on the Station and the incoming vehicle for attraction or repulsion was also examined

    Power spectral estimation algorithms

Algorithms to estimate the power spectrum using Maximum Entropy Methods were developed. These algorithms were coded in FORTRAN 77 and were implemented on the VAX 780. The important considerations in this analysis are: (1) resolution, i.e., how close in frequency two spectral components can be spaced and still be identified; (2) dynamic range, i.e., how small a spectral peak can be, relative to the largest, and still be observed in the spectra; and (3) variance, i.e., how accurate the estimate of the spectra is to the actual spectra. The application of the algorithms based on Maximum Entropy Methods to a variety of data shows that these criteria are met quite well. Additional work in this direction would help confirm the findings. All of the software developed was turned over to the technical monitor. A copy of a typical program is included. Some of the actual data and graphs used on this data are also included

A study of personalisation and the factors affecting the uptake of personal budgets by mental health service users in the UK - A research study commissioned by MIND

    Get PDF
This project was commissioned by Mind to add to its knowledge base and existing work on Personalisation so as to support individuals to have greater choice and control over their care and support needs. The project was funded by the Department of Health as part of its Strategic Development fund „Personalisation and Choice of Care and Support (IESD1) 2011‟. This report provides an overview of the main findings of this qualitative study, exploring the concept of personalisation, the factors affecting its operationalisation by voluntary and statutory sector organisations, and service users‟ experiences of its implementation, particularly in relation to what affects their uptake and experience of Personal Budgets. In the course of our investigation into current practice and experience, we have identified a number of barriers and enablers. Our view is that the impact of effective action to tackle the barriers will result in an improved experience of the Personal Budget process and its outcomes for carers and front line staff as well as service users. Recommendations are made for future work in this area

Ericulture as a Remedy of Rural Poverty in Assam: A Micro Level Study in Barpeta District

Ericulture i.e., rearing of eri cocoon and spinning as well as weaving of endi clothes has been an integral part of the rural economic activities especially of the rural women in Assam. Though both male and female folk of all sections of rural population have been engaged in different sericulture activities, tribal women have been predominant in the rearing and weaving of eri raw silk and endi textiles, who in addition to their daily household activities use their leisure time and with the help of their traditionally inherited knowledge produce useful but comparatively cheaper endi clothes. The activities not only help to increase their household income but also help many of them to come out of the acute poverty. Moreover, these women become economically and thus socially more empowered. An attempt is made in this paper to throw some light on the role of ericulture and endi-entrepreneurship in the generation of income, employment and removal of poverty in Assam.Ericulture, Poverty eradication, Rural entrepreneurship
