The Capital Structure of Venture Capital Firms in Indonesia

Venture capital (VC) is an important fund source for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and start up, particularly to deliver its main product of equity participation. Therefore, capital structure and factors that affect it are very crucial. This study aims to analyze the capital structure of VC firms in Indonesia using econometric model of panel data regression. This study utilizes secondary data of six years period (2009-2014) monthly financial statements of 27 samples out of 58 VC firms to form 1,944 observations. The study reveals that capital structure of VC firms in Indonesia is dominated by debt/loan rather than capital with DER on average is 136.95%. In addition, the research confirms that VC firms\u27 capital structure is affected simultaneously by financial aspects which are asset size, profitability, liquidity, asset/investment quality, and earning asset structure. The attentions to financial aspects that affect the VC firms\u27 capital structure as well as other initiatives related to capital increases are necessary so that the VC firms could carry out its role effectively

Biologie de reproduction chez Thaumatococcus Daniellii (benn.) Benth. et hook. (marantaceae) en Côte D’ivoire

Le processus de reproduction de Thaumatococcus daniellii a été étudié en vue d'une domestication à but économique. Ainsi, l'identification des animaux contribuant à la pollinisation a été réalisée à partir d'observations effectuées dans un dispositif expérimental réglementant l'accès différentiel des animaux aux parcelles. Une pollinisation manuelle suivie de l'analyse des fruits, par rapport à la teneur engraines, ont été effectuées. Les résultats ont révélé l'intervention d'agents extérieurs dans le processus de pollinisation, impliquant un phénomène d'allogamie chez cette plante. Ces agents extérieurs qui agissent en synergie sont Nectarinia olivacea (oiseau) et Aphis sp. (puceron). La prépondérance des fruits contenant une graine,l'échec élevé de l'autopollinisation et la prédominance d'une l'allopollinisation traduisent une incompatibilité génétique dans la régulation de la pollinisation des fleurs chez cette plante

Perbaikan Fasilitas Penumpang Kereta Api pada Stasiun X dengan Pendekatan Ergonomi Makro

Stasiun X merupakan stasiun besar kereta api yang terdapat di Kota Medan dan berada dibawah pengawasan PT. A. Adanya persaingan antar Perusahaan angkutan mengharuskan pihak PT. A meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan baik dari segi fasilitas maupun sumberdaya manusia. Fasilitas-fasilitas yang terdapat di Stasiun X khususnya fasilitas kemudahan naik/ turun penumpang belum memadai. Jumlah tangga pembantu yang tersedia tidak mencukupi dan tidak ada petugas yang mengoperasikan tangga pembantu menyebabkan penumpang kesulitan untuk naik dan turun kereta api. Hal ini tidak sesuai dengan Standar Pelayanan Minimum yang ditetapkan oleh Menteri Perhubungan Nomor PM 9 Tahun 2011. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan kemudahan kepada penumpang di Stasiun X dalam menaiki dan menuruni kereta api. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Ergonomi Makro dengan metode Macroergonomy and Analysis Design (MEAD). Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah alternatif penyelesaian masalah yang dilakukan secara bertahap, yaitu perbaikan dari segi fasilitas, perbaikan pada petugas kereta api, serta sosialisasi fasilitas kemudahan naik/ turun penumpang. Perbaikan fasilitas yaitu penambahan jumlah tangga pembantu dan display informasi spoor. Perbaikan pada petugas kereta api yaitu penambahan petugas pengoperasi tangga pembantu dan pengganti informasi pada display, serta penambahan job description pada polisi khusus. Sosialisasi fasilitas kemudahan naik/ turun penumpang terbagi atas dua, yaitu sosialisasi pentingnya informasi pada display informasi spoor dan penggunaan tangga pembant

Kajian Fenomenografi Aspek-Aspek Pengetahuan Metakognitif Siswa dalam Penyelesaian Soal-Soal Laju Reaksi

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui fenomenografi aspek-aspek pengetahuan metakognitif siswa dalam penyelesaian soal-soal laju reaksi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah fenomenologi dengan pendekatan fenomenografi. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 3 Gorontalo, dengan objek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 4 sebanyak 25 orang yang diambil menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Instrumen dalam penelitian berupa tes tertulis sebanyak 20 soal dan tes wawancara. Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil fenomenografi aspek-aspek pengetahuan metakognitif siswa dalam tes tertulis, tes wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Tekhnik analisis data mernggunakan model yang dikembangkan oleh Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: a) aspek pengetahuan deklaratif siswa rendah dalam penguasaan konsep laju reaksi secara teori; b) aspek pengetahuan prosedural siswa cukup baik dalam penyelesaian soal-soal perhitungan laju reaksi; c) aspek pengetahuan kondisional siswa rendah dalam menjelaskan hubungan konsep laju reaksi dengan persoalan dalam fakta yang ada

Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Disertai Media Kartu Pintar terhadap Prestasi Belajar Siswa pada Materi Larutan Penyangga Kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Kabila

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penggunaan model pembelajaran NHT disertai media kartu pintar dapat mempengaruhi prestasi belajar siswa pada materi larutan penyangga. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah posttest –only control design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Kabila dan sampel dalam penelitian ini yakni kelas XI MIA 3 dengan jumlah siswa 29 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran NHT disertai media kartu pintar dan kelas XI MIA 4 dengan jumlah siswa 29 sebagai kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional disertai tanya jawab. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan instrumen tes berupa tes objektif beralasan sebanyak 20 butir soal. Analisis data menggunakan kriteria pengujian hipotesis yaitu terima H0 jika thitung < ttabel atau tolak H0 jika thitung > ttabel. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh nilai (thitung = 4,43 dan ttabel = 2,003), maka Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Numbered Heads Together (NHT) di sertai media kartu pintar terhadap prestasi belajar siswa

The results of this study are: (1) economic structural transformation are drawn by declining of agriculture share both in output and employment, and household income distribution in this province are not equal, and (2) source of output growth are dominated by domestic final demand and export, while employment growth are dominated by labour intensity and technical coefficient. The implication of this study is maintain industrialization policy through ADLI and export promotion industry strategy

Parasitisme des loranthaceae et association culturale en Cacaoculture au centre-ouest De La Côte D’ivoire (Parasitism of mistletoes and cultural association in cocoa cultivation at the west center of Côte D’ivoire)

Les résultats obtenus ont permis d’inventorier 4 espèces de Loranthaceae dans les cacaoyères. Ce sont Globimetula dinklagei subsp. assiana, Phragmanthera capitata var. alba, Phragmanthera capitata var capitata et Tapinanthus bangwensis. Cette dernière espèce représente le parasite le plus abondant avec 35826 touffes. Elle est suivie respectivement de Phragmanthera capitata var. alba (6614 touffes), de Globimetula dinklagei (5450 touffes) et de Phragmanthera capitata var. capitata (4951 touffes). Sur les cacaoyers, le degré moyen d’infestation des Loranthaceae est de 36,40 p.c. et de 3,55 touffes/arbre. Selon l’âge, le niveau d’infestation a indiqué que les cacaoyers âgés de plus de 20 ans, sont doublement infestés que les moins âgés. Cependant, quelques exceptions existent, liées notamment à la présence des arbres qui leur sont associés et qui sont densément parasités avec un degré moyen d’infestation de 32,65 p.c. et de 14,04 touffes/plante. Hevea brasiliensis, Mangifera indica et Myrianthus arboreus ont été épargnées des attaques des Loranthaceae. Par conséquent, la prise en compte dans les tailles sanitaires, de tous les hôtes potentiels des Loranthaceae, serait indispensable dans la lutte contre ces végétaux vasculaires parasites.Mots clés : Loranthaceae, cacaoyers, degré d’infestation, âge et arbres associés.English Title: Parasitism of mistletoes and cultural association in cocoa cultivation at the west center of Côte d’IvoireEnglish AbstractAchieved results permited to inventory 4 species of mistletoes in cocoa plantations. Tingkat Keterbukaan, Kompetisi dalam Arus Perdagangan Indonesia di Asia*: suatu Pendekatan Ekonometrika

The information presented in the seminar is obtained from the research in respect of tradeopenness, competitiveness and flows of our export and import of industrial productsbetween Indonesia and its trading partners in Asia. Research has concluded that tradeopenness has positive relationship with our economic growth.. Indonesian trade flows hassignificant opportunity to augment its performance, substantiated by our finding on speedof convergence test in our bilateral trade with the partners, suggesting that they aredesirable partners for an Asian FTA Further we find that our international trade flows aHeckscher-Ohlin model more than increasing return or products differentiation or still aninter-industry trade rather than intra industry trade, substantiated with positive coefficientTCI variable and low Grubel Lloyd index. However please note that some of our industrialproducts have already well positioned with high Grubel Lloyd index.
