(Furan-2-yl)(5-hydroxy-3-methyl-5-phenyl-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)methanone
In the title compound, C15H14N2O3, the furan ring is disordered over two positions with a refined site-occupancy ratio of 0.587 (11):0.413 (11). The mean plane of the approximately planar pyrazole ring [maximum deviation = 0.0469 (11) Å] makes dihedral angles of 86.13 (11) and 4.5 (5)° with the phenyl and furan rings, respectively. The dihedral angle between the phenyl ring and the major component of the disordered furan ring is 81.8 (5)°. The molecule shows chirality in one of the carbon atoms but the centrosymmetric space group means the compound is a racemic mixture. In the crystal, intermolecular O—H⋯O and C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds connect the molecules. The crystal structure is further stabilized by π–π stacking interactions with a centroid–centroid distance of 3.8646 (12) Å
STUDY TO EVALUATE ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION AMONG STUDENTS OF A MEDICAL COLLEGE IN LAHORE, PAKISTAN
Objective : To evaluate predominance of uneasiness and dejection among restorative understudies in a Services Institute Of Medical Sciences lahore Techniques : A cross-sectional investigation was done on premedical, first, second and third year understudies of Services Institute of Medical Sciences Lahore, The instrument used to survey the tension and despondency was Self managed poll, The Aga Khan University Anxiety and Depression Scale (AKUADS). AKUADS is a screening instrument, and at a cut off purpose of 19, it has a Specificity of 81%, Sensitivity of 74%, a Positive Predictive Value of 63% and Negative Predictive Value of 88%. Information examination was done on Epi Info form 6.
Results : At the season of the investigation there were a sum of 288 male understudies and 105 female understudies tried out the school. The general reaction rate among the guys and females were 68.7% and 99.0% individually. In general the pervasiveness of nervousness and discouragement in females were 66.6% and guys 44.4% (p-esteem 0.01). In the first year the commonness in females were 89.7% and guys 60% (P-Value = 0.006). No self-destructive ideation was accounted for by either guys or females.
End : Almost comparative dimension of nervousness and dejection was found in another investigation utilizing a similar instrument in a comparative educational modules model therapeutic school in Pakistan. Our discoveries are likewise predictable with the discoveries from different investigations from western therapeutic schools just as other Asian and African medicinal schools utilizing distinctive screening devices
Cryptocurrency Returns Over a Decade: Breaks, Trend Breaks, and Outliers
This study finds breaks, trend breaks, and outliers in the last decade returns of five cryptocurrencies Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Tether USD, and Ripple that experienced frequent changes. The study uses the indicator saturation (IS) approach to simultaneously identify breaks, trend breaks, and outliers in these returns to gain a deeper understanding in their dynamics. The study found that monthly, weekly and daily breaks existed in these returns as well as trend breaks, and outliers mostly during the market peaks in 2017, 2018, 2020, and 2021 that can be attributed to a number of things, such as the global Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, the 2021 crypto crackdown in China, the 2020 price halving of Bitcoin, and the 2017–2018 initial coin offering (ICO) boom. These returns also have common break segments and outliers. The application of IS technique to cryptocurrencies and simultaneous detection of market breaks, trend breaks, and outliers makes this study unique. This study is limited to considering only returns of five digital coins. These results may help traders, investors, and financial analysts modify their tactics and risk-management techniques to deal with the complexity of the cryptocurrency market
{2,2′-[(2,2-Dimethylpropane-1,3-diyldinitrilo)bis(phenylmethylidyne)]diphenolato}copper(II)
The complete molecule of the title complex, [Cu(C31H28N2O2)], is generated by the application of twofold symmetry; the Cu and CMe2 atoms lie on the axis. The geometry around the CuII atom is distorted square-planar. The dihedral angle between the two phenyl rings is 76.0 (3) °. The crystal packing is stabilized by intermolecular C—H⋯π interactions
Synchronization of N-Non-Linear Slave Systems with Master System Using Non-Adaptive and Adaptive Coupled Observers
Synchronization of N-slave chaotic systems with a master system is a challenging task, particularly in recent times. In this paper, a novel methodology is proposed for synchronizing the N number of slave systems with a master system. The proposed methodology is based on coupled adaptive synchronous observers. The difference between the corresponding states of master and slave systems is converged to the origin by means of a novel feedback control scheme to achieve synchronization between the master and slave systems. The efficacy of the proposed methodology is verified through a simulation of FitzHugh–Nagumo non-linear systems in MATLAB. The simulation results validate and prove claims, and these systems are successfully synchronized by CCS and CCAS observer-based control
Preparation and quality characterization of soy milk based non-dairy ice cream
Soy milk made from soybean has prospective to be used as a substitute of milk due to its health benefits. It is a rich source of iso-flavones, omega-3-fatty acid, dietary fiber, vitamin C, carotenoids, protein and oligosaccharides. The current study was designed to examine the effects of galacto-manan on ice cream by using commercially available (silk) and locally prepared soy milk. Galacto-mannan (guar gum) was used in different concentration (0.3, 0.4, 0.5 and 0.6%) for the preparation of ice cream. Ice cream was analyzed for physico-chemical and sensory characteristics at 0, 30 and 60 days of storage interval. Overrun, meltdown, viscosity, total solids, pH and acidity were affected significantly by ice cream samples as well as storage. While non-significant effects of stabilizer and storage were found on fat, protein, and ash contents of ice cream. On organoleptic evaluation, the highest scores were awarded to the ice cream sample prepared with 0.5% of guar gum. Ice cream manufactured with locally prepared soy milk and guar gum revealed comparable quality with lower cost
From brothel to zakah
Ali was in dilemma. How would he help his childhood friend, Mastura emancipated from
brothel. Was there any way in Islam to free a person in captivity? Ali remembered her story.
It was five years ago when Mastura was just 17 years old, she got married to Hasnan, a
stranger that she just met for two months. Mastura leaved Alor Setar for Kuala Lumpur to be
with her husband. Unfortunately, her husband who was supposed to be her protector in joys
and sorrows, sold her to brothel in Lorong Haji Taib. In hesitant, she was forced to become
prostitute without any pay. The brothel had very strict security and only provided her with
room, foods and clothes. Two years later, she got pregnant and gave birth to a baby girl
named Sarah. According to Mastura, she broke out from the brothel with the help of her
regular client. Escaped from brothel, Mastura hoped that she could start her life all over again
in her hometown, Alor Star. That was when Ali met Mastura, where she begged for help from
him.Ali had been working as the manager of Asnaf Development and Zakat Distribution
Division in Lembaga Zakat Negeri Kedah (LZNK) for 10 years. He thought of how would
zakah be of help to Mastura. Ali brought the matter to his boss, Haji Zakaria Othman, who
had asked him to study other states practice
