    The low achievement of students and the lack of motivation, methods of learning and discipline in the students' learning of mathematics is a challenge for mathematics lecturers to continue to think creatively in order to teach the material to students in accordance with the standards of the curriculum and the learning process takes place by directly involving students in full in terms of the learning process that takes place can be run with fun. The low achievement of students was indirectly caused by the lack of students' motivation and discipline itself. Learning methods implemented by the faculty also affects the achievement of students majoring in chemical engineering.     Seed quality includes three aspects, namely genetic quality, physical quality and physiological quality. Physiological quality is an aspect of seed quality as indicated by seed viability and vigor. This study aims to analyze the effect of different types of sound exposure on viability and early growth of corn seeds, and to analyze the effect of long exposure to sound on viability and early growth of maize seeds. The research was carried out in the laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Teuku Umar University. on September 20 - October 19, 2019. This study used a Split Plot with the main plot type of sound exposure consisting of four levels, and the main sub-plot, namely the length of sound exposure consisting of three levels. Observed parameters; germination rate, growth speed, synchronous growth (KST), stomata openings. Based on the research results, the best germination rate, growth rate, growth impregnability, leaf width, and stomatal openings were found in the Murrotal Al-Quran exposure. In the long exposure to sound treatment, it showed that the length of exposure to sound had no significant effect on germination, growth speed, growth impregnability, leaf width of maize plants, and stomata opening of maize plants. &nbsp

    The research is done in State Polytechnic Sriwijaya and aims to analyze influence of variable project learning model citizen at lecturing Citizenship Education to student character as citizen. Character of students as citizens is nature of the situation as a moral response that should be owned by the citizens so that emerging identity that is easily recognizable as a citizen. For that, Indonesia needs to build national character, one of which is given through the national education system. One area of assessment that is the mission of Citizenship Education is compulsory in all levels education, including higher education. Thus, every college should have a pattern of student character building and designing the character education as a whole. That requires learning the right strategies are characterized by a significant learning experience, value-based, challenging and activate. The learning strategy is a learning model of project citizen that invites students not only to understand the concepts and principles of science but also develop the ability to work cooperatively through learning activities. The number of population studied is the entire State Polytechnic Sriwijaya students attending Citizenship Education in the academic year 2011/2012 which is proportionate sampling stratified random sampling. Research results show that the learning model of project citizen application on Citizenship Education have a significant influence on the student’s character as citizens of the State Polytechnic Sriwijaya

    One reason is that the process of learning mathematics related to geometry is not yet optimal, it is the difficulty of the teacher to visualize abstract geometrical objects. Geogebra software can be used as a tool to construct, demonstrate or visualize abstract problems in learning geometry material. The problem faced by partners in implementing the geometry learning process by using Geogebra's assistance as a learning medium is the low knowledge of teachers in the use of Geogebra software and the low skills of teachers in using Geogebra software in learning geometry material. In an effort to overcome partner problems, the solution offered was to provide training and assistance to the Geogebra application to junior high school mathematics teachers in Banyuasin III to assist them in the process of learning mathematics. This activity includes theory, practice, and exercises given to participants so that skilled participants use Geogebra. This activity has succeeded in increasing teacher skills in knowledge and skills using Geogebra software for Mathematics learning. Participants understand the use of this software and are also skilled at using it for learning geometry material. This activity has also produced several instructional materials for Geogebra software assisted geometry materials

    This study aimed at producing appropriate Computer Assisted Mathematics Based Project (valid, practical, and effective) teaching materials to improve students' reasoning and mathematical communication skills. This research is a development research, which develops teaching materials using 4-D models. The instruments of data collection used are validation of teaching materials, questionnaires, and tests of reasoning ability and mathematical communication. Based on the results of data analysis up to stage 3 on R & D research revealed that the compiled teaching materials have met the eligibility requirements. Feasibility level of teaching materials equal to 85.58% with high category. The result of the test of teaching material is 88,4. This means that the teaching materials have excellent value with a high level of practicability. The effectiveness test shows that there is a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test values. In relation to the assessment of the conformity of teaching materials content with the project-based learning stage, 83.3% of respondents agreed that the material in textbooks put forward the project and the evaluation used could represent the problem solving in the real world. All respondents agree that by learning through developed learning materials, learners are encouraged to design their own products to be done. All respondents agree that from the project assigned, learners are encouraged to develop their competence

    Pembelajaran E-learning berbasis edmodo memudahkan dalam pendistribusian materi pembelajaran, ujian, latihan kuis dan penilaian. Namun perlu diingat bahwa e-leaming berperan untuk melengkapi kelas konvensional bukan untuk menggantikan kelas konvensional. Kondisi saat ini, Polsri masih memberlakukan pembelajaran konvensional khususnya dalam mata kuliah PKn. Berdasarkan pengalaman peneliti pembelajaran konvensional mata kuliah PKn memberikan kejenuhan belajar bagi mahasiswa yang akhirnya berdampak kepada menurunnya basil belajar mahasiswa. Di sisi lain, Polsri sudah memiliki layanan e-learning yang dikelola oleh kampus dengan menggunakan Learning Management System (LMS) tetapi belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal oleh dosen. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan e-learning berbasis edmodo pada matakuliah PKn. Manfaat penelitian memberikan masukan bagi pengampu mata kuliah PKn di lingkungan Polsri dalam upaya meningkatkan sistem pembelajaran di kelas dan mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan e-learning berbasis edmodo serta memberikan masukan agar mahasiswa mengenal dan dapat mengakses penggunaan e-learning khususnya pembelajaran e-learning berbasis edmodo. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif dimana analisis terhadap seluruh data baik data primer maupun sekunder dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif karena data yang dianalisis berupa deskriptif presentase yang menunjukkan tingkat persepsi mahasiswa dengan skala liken. Pembahasan deskriptif didasarkan dan hash' perhitungan penilaian persepsi berdasarkan frekuensi skor rata-rata dari seluruh responden pada tiap item kuesioner.unta mcndapatkan instrumcn yang valid dan reliabel,. maka dilakukan uji validitas dan uji normalitas.Variable persepsi mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan e-learning berbasis edmodo yang dikembangkan ke dalam 4 dimensi yaitu (1)Kesiapan fasilitas, (2)Kesiapan SDM tinggi,sedang,pengguna,(3)Penggunaan e-learning untuk pembelajaran,(4) Kendala dalam menggunakan e-lcarning yang tersedia dan (5) Tanggapan terhadap fasilitas e-learning yang telah tersedia. Hasil analisis yang dicapai berdasarkan interval yaitu sangat rendah dan sangat rendah adalah skor persepsi berada pada kategori sedang (3.30) s/d sangat tinggi (4.77). Persepsi tertinggi per-item saudara pernah mengakses e-learning berbasis edmodo, per-indikator pengetahuan tentang akses e-learning, per-dimensi kesiapan fasilitas. Persepsi terendah per-item secara teknis belum tahu bagaimana cara menggunakan e-learning, per-indikator informasi tentang e-learning berbasis edmodo, per¬dmaens. kendala dalam menggunakan e-learning yang telah tersedia. Selanjutnya, solusi alternatif yang diberikan berdasarkan dimensi dengan kategori rendah s/d sedang adalah (1)kesiapan fasilitas e-learning berbasis edmodo sangat perlu ditingkatkan terutama segi keleluasaan akses jaringan Internet dan keleluasaan waktu untuk mengakses guna menjawab setiap assignment dan quis yang diberikan, (2)kesiapan SDM pengguna e-learning berbasis asis edmodo perlu ditingkatkan karena masih ada SDM pengguna(dosen dan mahasiswa) yang belum sa memanfaatkan komputer secara maksimal dan (3)penggunaan e-learning berbasis edmodo untuk pembelajaran sangat disarankan karena sangat membantu mahasiswa dalam memahami materi yang diberikan namun harus disederhanakan
