Model Based Prioritization Technique for Component Testing
To test modified system through outdated test suite regression test process is required. However, this process of retesting takes lot of time and resources because test suite size has been large. Due to this time, consuming nature this process is not efficient for large test suite. Therefore, there is need of best test case prioritization technique to solve issue regarding retesting for large test suite. This technique has been use to evaluate test cases like higher priority test cases executed before lower priority. Main motive behind this work is to recognize faults at earlier stage so that the debuggers can begin their work earlier. In this paper, we propose a new prioritization technique for test cases to perform regression testing for Component Specific Software System (CBSS). Prim’s and Kruskal Algorithm are used
GREEN COMPUTING: Efficient and Eco-Friendly Computing
With rising energy cost and growing environmental concerns, GREEN COMPUTING is receiving more and more attention. Software and system architectures play a crucial role in both computing and telecommunication systems, and they have been analysed for performance, reliability, maintainability, and security. Yet, little work on analysis based on the amount of energy that the CPU/processor will consume has been reported. Since most communication systems have to run 24/7 (e.g., most server farms, servers in a cloud computing infrastructure), the energy consumption of a system based on a specific software architecture is of great importance. For example, high energy consuming always leads to higher operational cost of the system. High energy consumption also implies more heat produced, thus, more power is required for cooling-down. As the number of computers is increasing day by day, so is the amount of electricity consumed by them which in turn is increasing the carbon content in atmosphere. This problem has been realized by the researchers and several corrective measures are being taken which help in minimizing the power usage of computers and this process is called as Green Computing
Fusion of Multiple Biometric For Photo-Attack Detection in Face Recognition Systems
A spoofing attack is a situation in which one person successfully masquerades as another by falsifying data and gaining illegitimate access. Spoofing attacks are of several types such as photograph, video or mask. Biometrics are playing the role of a password which cannot be replaced if stolen, so there is the necessity of counter-measures to biometric spoofing attacks. Face biometric systems are vulnerable to spoofing attack. Regardless of the biometric mode, the typical approach of anti-spoofing systems is to classify the biometric evidence which are based on features discriminating between real accesses and spoofing attacks. A number of biometric characteristics are in use in various applications. This system will be based on face recognition and lip movement recognition systems. This system will make use of client-specific information to build client-specific anti-spoofing solution, depending on a generative model. In this system, we will implement the client identity to detect spoofing attack. With this, it increases efficiency of authentication. The image will be captured and registered with its client identity. When user has to be authenticated, the image will be captured with his identity manually entered. Now system will check the image with respect to client identity only. Lip movement recognition will be done at time of authentication to identify whether client is spoof or not. If client is authenticated, then it will check for captured image dimension using Gaussian Mixture Model (GMM). This system also encrypts and decrypts a file by extracting parameter values of a registered face
Smart Android Application for blind people based on object Detection
Abstract: We are detecting an object using the mobile camera and giving voice instructions about the direction of an object. User must have to train the system first regarding the object information. We are then doing feature extraction to search for objects in the camera view. We are taking help of angle where object is placed to give direction about the object. An Android application that warns the smartphone user from obstacles way. The camera of the phone is enough and no special hardware, ensuring that it requires minimal effort from the user to use the application during everyday life

Measurement of Body Mass Index (BMI) using PIC 18F452 Microcontroller
The aim of the project was to design a microcontroller based automated Body Mass Index (BMI)calculator with LCD display, which calculates the body mass index using the two basic parameters that are weight and height. The hardware of the project consists of a weighing mechanism i.e. weighing machine, which is used to calculate the body weight of a person, and a height sensing mechanism i.e. LDR, which is use to calculate the height of a person. The weight of the person is calculated in Kilograms and the height in meters in accordance of the BMI standard formula [3]. The microcontroller based automated Body Mass Index calculator is a useful device when it comes to controlling your weight and maintaining a healthy life style. The calculated weight of the person through weighing machine, converts the mechanical force into electrical signals that can be easily obtain after processing through microcontroller. While the height of the person is calculated by the LDR , when dark light falls on it the resistance value decreases and we get high voltage at output. All this data is manipulated through microcontroller and then the result is displayed on the LCD display and a message is sent through GSM module to the person about his BMI and the suggestions related to it.

Initial experience of a large, self-expanding, and fully recapturable transcatheter aortic valve: The UK & Ireland Implanters' registry.
OBJECTIVES: The UK & Ireland Implanters' registry is a multicenter registry which reports on real-world experience with novel transcatheter heart valves. BACKGROUND: The 34 mm Evolut R transcatheter aortic valve is a self-expanding and fully recapturable transcatheter aortic valve, designed to treat patients with a large aortic annulus. METHODS: Between January 2017 and April 2018, clinical, procedural and 30-day outcome data were prospectively collected from all patients receiving the 34 mm Evolut R valve across 17 participating centers in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The primary efficacy outcome was the Valve Academic Research Consortium-2(VARC-2)-defined endpoint of device success. The primary safety outcome was the VARC-2-defined composite endpoint of early safety at 30 days. RESULTS: A total of 217 patients underwent attempted implant. Mean age was 79.5 ± 8.8 years and Society of Thoracic Surgeons Predicted Risk of Mortality Score 5.2% ± 3.4%. Iliofemoral access was used in 91.2% of patients. Device success was 79.7%. Mean gradient was 7.0 ± 4.6 mmHg and effective orifice area 2.0 ± 0.6 cm2 . Paravalvular regurgitation was more than mild in 7.2%. A new permanent pacemaker was implanted in 15.7%. Early safety was demonstrated in 91.2%. At 30 days, all-cause mortality was 3.2%, stroke 3.7%, and major vascular complication 2.3%. CONCLUSIONS: Real-world experience of the 34 mm Evolut R transcatheter aortic valve demonstrated acceptable procedural success, safety, valve function, and incidence of new permanent pacemaker implantation
ACETYLCHOLINESTERASE INHIBITORY EFFECT OF 3-(1H-INDOL-3-YL)-1, 3-DIPHENYLPROPAN-1-ONE DERIVATIVES
Objective: The objective of the study is acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitory effect of 3-(1H-indol-3-yl)-1, 3-diphenylpropan-1-one derivatives by Ellman's method, physostigmine is used as positive control.Method: 3-(1H-indol-3-yl)-1, 3-diphenylpropan-1-one derivatives were synthesized by the addition of chalcone (0.25 g, 1 mmol), indole (0.12 g, 1 mmol) in ethanol (5 ml), and concentrated hydrochloric acid (5 mmol %). These earlier synthesized compounds were screened for AChE inhibitors by modifying Ellman's method. Results: Among the tested compounds, 3a and 3j were found to be having more potential than other compounds with half maximal inhibitory concentration values of 13.64 and 14.3 μg/ml, respectively. Whereas, compounds 3c, 3e, 3g, and 3i exhibited an average AChE inhibition of 16.4, 17.9, 17.6, and 21.1 μg/ml, respectively. Conclusion: The compounds 3-(1H-indol-3-yl)-1, 3-diphenylpropan-1-one derivatives were found to be possible lead molecules in AChE inhibition and even though, the molecules were structurally dissimilar to that of the standard, still they exhibited a considerable degree of inhibition and encourage the researchers to look into the mode of action of their inhibition ability against AChE
