Power Saving by Using Image Processing

    Get PDF
This Paper Proposes Power Saving by using Image Processing. In India major problems of Energy and Power crisis because of it is developing country. We have many ways to save Electricity using Electric and Electronic Gadgets whenever and wherever is need and we can also switching them off, while not in use. But in many places such as large auditoriums and meeting halls, there will be a fan or an Air-conditioner keep running. Due to this, a large amount of electricity is wastage. We can prevent this wastage by using installing IR sensors to detect people. But these methods are quite costlier and required large areas. Therefore, we propose a new method of controlling the power supply by using Image Processing. In this paper, we have to take reference image and if any change in that reference image it will detected and change their status according to that and equipment will be turned on. In this way power wastage is controlled. We can use this system for dual purpose in which a camera is used for detecting people as well as surveillance. The main advantage of this system is a very simple, efficient and cheaper technique to save energy. Second big advantage is we extend this up to application like home automation etc

Design of Multichannel UART Controller with AXI4.0 Lite Interface

UART (Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter) is basically used for long distance slow speed serial communication. When it comes to latest SOC high speed communication design single channel requires more time and lots of interrupt to process the data. To overcome this disadvantage here high speed multi channel UART controller has been implemented which will be used for avoid synchronization error between and high speed master and different slave devices. AMBA AXI4.0-Lite high speed bus is also interfaced with UART Controller. AXI4.0 is reconfigurable and can be updated to any other high speed bus in future. Whole design is simulated using Verilog HDL in Questasim 10.0b software with the help of verilog testbench. DOI: 10.17762/ijritcc2321-8169.15052

A New Speech Enhancment algorithm in Hearing Aid based on Wavelet Transform

    Get PDF
Voice Enhancement systems are used to remove background inference in a speech signal and are become an main component of modern hearing aid. In everyday life the speech communication is vivid uses for the hearing impaired and the numerous other applications. Speech is the fundamental means of human communication. After over thirty years of research enhancement algorithm. Which offer superior noise reduction over current methods? All speech enhancements suffer from distortion for the residual noise due to imperfect noise removal. It is always require to perform denoising in voice processing system operating in highly noise because of wavelet transform is one of the popular techniques used in signal enhancement, In the present paper wavelet thresholding and wavelet packet thresholding method have been used to decrease the noise from the voice signal. A simple threshold method is presented to compute the optimum threshold value. Mean square error(MSE) at different values of SNR is computed to method like traditional speech subtraction, wiener filtering method, spectral subtraction with MMSE etc.The result obtained is compared with the other voice enhancement algorithm given in various reference papers. In comparison to other traditional methods we get improved result in terms of SNR and MSE.Simulation done in MATLAB platform

Identification of Cloud Computing Service Quality Indicators with its Expected Involvement in Cloud Computing Services and its Performance Issues

Nowadays quality of cloud computing services, along with its proper service management, is one of the most important aspects of cloud computing model. Because of that, the cloud computing system can fulfill the need of users in a better way. To fulfill the need of cloud services quality, an evaluation series of quality standards are to be considered. Some of the most important standards have been considered while others are still under identification or under development. Here a series of indicators is to be identified with an objective to guide the development of cloud service related products. Specification of high quality requirements and the evaluation of quality characteristics shall also be a part of this process. DOI: 10.17762/ijritcc2321-8169.15074

Aim: The present investigation concerns the development of controlled release matrix tablet of Diltiazem HCl.Methods: Matrix tablet of Diltiazem HCl was formulated by using HPMC and Guar gum as a polymeric matrix forming materials in various concentrations (%w/w) to study their ability to retard the release. The tablets were prepared by wet granulation method and evaluated for physical properties, content uniformity, swelling index, stability and in-vitro drug release. Results: Swelling was increased as the concentration and viscosity of HPMC increases. Tablets formulated using guar gum and HPMC alone were gave initial burst effect followed by controlled release for 8 hr. It was evident from the study that the formulationsF7,F8 &F9 have optimum swelling index and in vitro drug release up to 44% in 8hrs. The stability studies of optimized batch showed that there was no change in hardness, swelling index and in-vitro release up to 12 weeks. Conclusions: The batches F7, F8 and F9 possessed the high potential to release the drug gradually for more than 8 hours. The zero-order release kinetic indicates concentration independent drug release ensuring that the formulated tablet showed promising result to be a sustained release formulation

Emission Reduction Techniques for Printed Circuit Board

    Get PDF
In this paper two prototypes of PCB have been used to measure the emission pattern from the board. Both boards have the same dimensions, material properties and connectors. In prototype PCB1(Good Board) have been created to improve the emission results and analyze the difference in results by following proper layout rules and incorporating various emission reduction techniques. However PCB2(Bad Board) proper layout techniques are not followed to analyze the radiation pattern and it has been created to violate the layout rules. The emissions from the two boards were then measured and compared demonstra -ting an improvement in radiated emissions and passing FCC Class B limits. DOI: 10.17762/ijritcc2321-8169.16049

Peoples are changing their views and accordingly demand of consumer services for real world applications is getting diversified. Most of all global IT leader companies have started to consume cloud services in one or another way by putting their demands. The cloud is rapidly maturing towards its goal to satisfy federated need of consumer’s need for real-world applications. It is tried to reflect survey of current research related to open issues associated with clouds service performance with consideration of maintenance of performance and quality management and also simulates service level agreement based testing on the large scale commercial testing environment. One of the key aspect of the existing approach is it cloud environment need to achieve more flexibility to satisfy diversified users need and providers service delivery model. A collaborative system shall apply the concept of the cloud service performance testing to reduce the mitigations in cloud data and loss of the service availability and data integrity aspects

Review on Synchronization for OFDM Systems

    Get PDF
Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is a multi-carrier modulation scheme. It is widely used modulation technique because it has high data rate, high spectral efficiency and robustness to multipath fading channel. One of the major drawbacks of OFDM system is synchronization. It is very sensitive to frequency synchronization errors in the form of Carrier Frequency Offset (CFO). The Carrier Frequency Offset can causes Inter Carrier Interference (ICI) and destroy the orthogonality of the OFDM system. Therefore it is necessary to perform frequency synchronization. In this paper various Carrier Frequency Offset Estimation methods are presented
