Revisiting the T2K data using different models for the neutrino-nucleus cross sections
We present a three-flavour fit to the recent \nu\mu --> \nu e and \nu\mu -->
\nu\mu T2K oscillation data with different models for the neutrino-nucleus
cross section. We show that, even for a limited statistics, the allowed regions
and best fit points in the (\theta_{13},\delta_{CP}) and (\theta_{23},\Delta
m^2_{atm}) planes are affected if, instead of using the Fermi Gas model to
describe the quasielastic cross section, we employ a model including the
multinucleon emission channel.Comment: 13 pages, 12 figures. A new section on the inverted hierarchy added.

Multiparticle Quantum Superposition and Stimulated Entanglement by Parity Selective Amplification of Entangled States
A multiparticle quantum superposition state has been generated by a novel
phase-selective parametric amplifier of an entangled two-photon state. This
realization is expected to open a new field of investigations on the
persistence of the validity of the standard quantum theory for systems of
increasing complexity, in a quasi decoherence-free environment. Because of its
nonlocal structure the new system is expected to play a relevant role in the
modern endeavor on quantum information and in the basic physics of
entanglement.Comment: 13 pages and 3 figure
Muon capture in the front end of the IDS neutrino factory
We discuss the design of the muon capture front end of the neutrino factory
International Design Study. In the front end, a proton bunch on a target
creates secondary pions that drift into a capture transport channel, decaying
into muons. A sequence of rf cavities forms the resulting muon beams into
strings of bunches of differing energies, aligns the bunches to (nearly) equal
central energies, and initiates ionization cooling. The muons are then
accelerated to high energy where their decays provide neutrino beams. For the
International Design Study (IDS), a baseline design must be developed and
optimized for an engineering and cost study. We present a baseline design that
can be used to establish the scope of a future neutrino Factory facility.Comment: 3 pp. 1st International Particle Accelerator Conference: IPAC'10,

Continuous variable cloning via network of parametric gates
We propose an experimental scheme for the cloning machine of continuous

input-output four-port gates.Comment: 4 pages, 2 figures. To appear on Phys. Rev. Let
Contextual Realization of the Universal Quantum Cloning Machine and of the Universal-NOT gate by Quantum Injected Optical Parametric Amplification
A simultaneous, contextual experimental demonstration of the two processes of
cloning an input qubit and of flipping it into the orthogonal qubit is
reported. The adopted experimental apparatus, a Quantum-Injected Optical
Parametric Amplifier (QIOPA) is transformed simultaneously into a Universal
Optimal Quantum Cloning Machine (UOQCM) and into a Universal NOT
quantum-information gate. The two processes, indeed forbidden in their exact
form for fundamental quantum limitations, will be found to be universal and
optimal, i.e. the measured fidelity of both processes F<1 will be found close
to the limit values evaluated by quantum theory. A contextual theoretical and
experimental investigation of these processes, which may represent the basic
difference between the classical and the quantum worlds, can reveal in a
unifying manner the detailed structure of quantum information. It may also
enlighten the yet little explored interconnections of fundamental axiomatic
properties within the deep structure of quantum mechanics. PACS numbers:

Pengaruh Variasi Warna Kuning Pada Fly Grill Terhadap Kepadatan Lalat (Studi Di Tempat Pelelangan Ikan Tambak Lorok Kota Semarang) Effect of Variation the Color Yellow on Fly Grill to Density of Flies (Study at Fish Ouction Place Tambak Lorok Semarang Cit
Flies are vectors that carrying disease so need measured it densities for control purposes. Flies also the insects which have compound eyes can distinguish some colors frequencies. Fly grill one the tools measuring density of flies. Fly grill made wooden planks with varied color. Fly grill used given paint the ocher, light yellow, white and one fly grill without paint. The general objective of this study was determine the effect of variations of yellow color the fly grill to the density of flies. The study design used was quasi experiment with models Post Test Only Design. This research was conducted at the fish auction place (TPI) Tambak Lorok Semarang city for four days at four different locations. At predetermined point, did measurements ten times by calculating the average data five times the highest calculation. The results show the werage number of fly grill without paint is 8,5 flies, white 9,5 flies, ocher 16 ekor, light yellow 9,75 flies. Data were analyzed by Kruskall Wallis the significant level α=0.05. From the calculation using Mann Whitney, states that there are differences the density of flies the fly grill by using different color variations, in order from highest to lowest is ocher color, light yellow, white and without paint. Herefore, is advisable to use the fly grill with ocher colors in measuring the density of flies also the need for the control of flies in TPI because of the results from research obtained the flies have exceeded five flies per block grill
