Rancang Bangun Sistem Monitoring Konduktivitas Listrik Air Menggunakan Wireless Sesnor System (Wss)
Water has many benefits one of which is a good conductor of electricity, because the water contains ions that can conduct electricity, the amount of water's ability to conduct electricity known as electrical conductivity or electrical conductivity (EC). The electrical conductivity of the water is in practice often used as parameters of water quality. Therefore the need for a monitoring electrical conductivity of water so that the levels of electrical conductivity in a body of water. The method used for water monitoring system for electrical conductivity using Wireless Sensor System (WSS). By using WSS data monitoring can be done at a distance, direct or realtime network using Wi-Fi. To know the symptoms of the changes that occur in the water sensor uses electrical conductivity of water. Values that comes out of analog value which is then converted into digital values by microcontroller ATSAM3X8E with features Analog to Digital Converter (ADC), then the data is sent to a computer using serial communication. The data sent is stored in a database at the station Remote Terminal Unit (RTU). The data has been stored subsequently sent to the Terminal Station Control Unit (CTU) using Wi-Fi networks. Data sent to CTU station can be accessed by accessing the IP address in a web browser. The results of the characterization of the sensor to a standard measuring instrument obtained the following equation y = 58,666x - 42929. Furthermore, the equation to be incorporated into the program the microcontroller then do the calibration. The results of the calibration of linear correlation coefficient (R) and standard deviation (δ), a conductivity sensor has R = 0.999 and δ = 129.76 μS / cm. Of data sent and received data error does not occur, so it can be ascertained that the data transmission no data is wrong, less, or increases

Brain-Blood Partition Coefficient and Cerebral Blood Flow in Canines Using Calibrated Short TR Recovery (CaSTRR) Correction Method.
The brain-blood partition coefficient (BBPC) is necessary for quantifying cerebral blood flow (CBF) when using tracer based techniques like arterial spin labeling (ASL). A recent improvement to traditional MRI measurements of BBPC, called calibrated short TR recovery (CaSTRR), has demonstrated a significant reduction in acquisition time for BBPC maps in mice. In this study CaSTRR is applied to a cohort of healthy canines (n = 17, age = 5.0 - 8.0 years) using a protocol suited for application in humans at 3T. The imaging protocol included CaSTRR for BBPC maps, pseudo-continuous ASL for CBF maps, and high resolution anatomical images. The standard CaSTRR method of normalizing BBPC to gadolinium-doped deuterium oxide phantoms was also compared to normalization using hematocrit (Hct) as a proxy value for blood water content. The results show that CaSTRR is able to produce high quality BBPC maps with a 4 min acquisition time. The BBPC maps demonstrate significantly higher BBPC in gray matter (0.83 ± 0.05 mL/g) than in white matter (0.78 ± 0.04 mL/g, p = 0.006). Maps of CBF acquired with pCASL demonstrate a negative correlation between gray matter perfusion and age (p = 0.003). Voxel-wise correction for BBPC is also shown to improve contrast to noise ratio between gray and white matter in CBF maps. A novel aspect of the study was to show that that BBPC measurements can be calculated based on the known Hct of the blood sample placed in scanner. We found a strong correlation (R 2 = 0.81 in gray matter, R 2 = 0.59 in white matter) established between BBPC maps normalized to the doped phantoms and BBPC maps normalized using Hct. This obviates the need for doped water phantoms which simplifies both the acquisition protocol and the post-processing methods. Together this suggests that CaSTRR represents a feasible, rapid method to account for BBPC variability when quantifying CBF. As canines have been used widely for aging and Alzheimer's disease studies, the CaSTRR method established in the animals may further improve CBF measurements and advance our understanding of cerebrovascular changes in aging and neurodegeneration
Optimasi TIME Dial Setting (TDS) Relay Arus Lebih Menggunakan Adaptive Modified Firefly Algorithm pada Sistem Kelistrikan PT. Pupuk Kalimantan Timur
Pupuk Kalimantan Timur.
Molecular theory of elastic constants of liquid crystals. III. Application to smectic phases with tilted orientational order
Using the density functional formalism we derive expression for the
distortion free energy for systems with continuous broken symmetry and use it
to derive expression for the elastic constants of smectic phases in which
director is tilted with respect to the smectic layer normal. As in the previous
papers of the series (Phys. Rev. A {\bf 45}, 974 (1992), E {\bf 49}, 501,
(1994)) the expressions for the elastic constants are written in terms of order
and structural parameters. The structural parameters involve the generalised
spherical harmonic coefficients of the direct pair correlation function of an
effective isotropic liquid. The density of this effective isotropic liquid
depends on the nature and amount of ordering present in the system and is
evaluated self- consistently. We estimate the value of elastic constants using
reasonable guess for the order and structural- parameters.Comment: 31 pages; 1 Fig. in GIF format, To be appear in Phys. Rev.
Sharing and Preserving Computational Analyses for Posterity with encapsulator
Open data and open-source software may be part of the solution to science's
"reproducibility crisis", but they are insufficient to guarantee
reproducibility. Requiring minimal end-user expertise, encapsulator creates a
"time capsule" with reproducible code in a self-contained computational
environment. encapsulator provides end-users with a fully-featured desktop
environment for reproducible research.Comment: 11 pages, 6 figure
Multi-waveband Emission Maps of Blazars
We are leading a comprehensive multi-waveband monitoring program of 34
gamma-ray bright blazars designed to locate the emission regions of blazars
from radio to gamma-ray frequencies. The "maps" are anchored by sequences of
images in both total and polarized intensity obtained with the VLBA at an
angular resolution of ~ 0.1 milliarcseconds. The time-variable linear
polarization at radio to optical wavelengths and radio to gamma-ray light
curves allow us to specify the locations of flares relative to bright
stationary features seen in the images and to infer the geometry of the
magnetic field in different regions of the jet. Our data reveal that some
flares occur simultaneously at different wavebands and others are only seen at
some of the frequencies. The flares are often triggered by a superluminal knot
passing through the stationary "core" on the VLBA images. Other flares occur
upstream or even parsecs downstream of the core.Comment: 5 pages, including 2 figures; to be published in Journal of
