    Transparent authentication methodology in electronic education

    In the context of on-line assessment in e-learning, a problem arises when a student taking an exam may wish to cheat by handing over personal credentials to someone else to take their place in an exam, Another problem is that there is no method for signing digital content as it is being produced in a computerized environment. Our proposed solution is to digitally sign the participant’s work by embedding voice samples in the transcript paper at regular intervals. In this investigation, we have demonstrated that a transparent stenographic methodology will provide an innovative and practical solution for achieving continuous authentication in an online educational environment by successful insertion and extraction of audio digital signatures

    Fishing activities are exploration and exploitation activities of fishery resources. In addition to requiring knowledge about the resources to be caught, in terms of type, distribution and season, they also require information on effective and efficient fishing gear technology and fishing aids. The problem faced by the Jaring Rahmat fishing group in fishing operations is that it is difficult to collect and detect the presence of fish. Therefore, our team offers a solution, namely making a tool called fish magnet eye as an innovation in technology for collecting and detecting fish to increase fishermen's catches. With this tool, fishermen can produce larger catches because it will be easier to collect and detect the presence of fish so that fishermen's income will increase

    Analytic approximate solutions of Volterra’s population and some scientific models by power series method

    In this paper, we have implement an analytic approximate method based on power series method (PSM) to obtain asolutions for Volterra’s population model of population growth of a species in a closed system. The numerical solution isobtained by combining the PSM and Pad´e technique. The Pad´e approximation that often show superior performance overseries approximation are effectively used in the analysis to capture essential behavior of the population u(t) of identicalindividuals. The results demonstrate that the method has many merits such as being derivative-free, overcome the difficultyarising in calculating Adomian polynomials to handle the nonlinear terms in Adomian Decomposition Method (ADM).It does not require to calculate Lagrange multiplier as in Variational Iteration Method (VIM) and no needs to construct ahomotopy and solve the corresponding algebraic equations as in Homotopy Perturbation Method (HPM). Moreover, weused this method to solve some scientific models, namely, the hybrid selection model, the Riccati model and the logisticmodel to provide the analytic solutions. The obtained analytic approximate solutions of applying the PSM is in fullagreement with the results obtained with those methods available in the literature.     Permasalahan banjir dan drainase selalu mewarnai permasalahan yang terjadi di area perkotaan karena seringkali banjir dan drainase mencuat ke permukaan setelah perkembangan perkotaan yang mengakibatkan terjadinya perubahan tata guna lahan. Lahan yang semula memiliki daya resapan air besar karena masih dalam kondisi alami menjadi lahan masive yang berdaya resap air relatif sangat kecil setelah banyak pembangunan. Dari data curah hujan yang didapat dari BMKG Kelas I Kenten dapat dipergunakan untuk menghitung curah hujan rancangan dengan metode gumble dan log person iii. Dari hasil analisa tersebut diperoleh perhitungan Intensitas Curah Hujan dengan menggunakan metode mononobe 355,185mm/jam. Agar kolam retensi dapat menampung kelebihan air dari saluran maka dibutuhkan volume tampungan rencana sebesar 39500,7009 m3 dengan rencana anggaran biaya sebesar Rp. 1.520.063,000 dengan waktu pengerjaan. Bedasarkan hasil perhitungan perencanaan kolam retensi yang direncanakan di Kebun Raya Kabupaten Ogan Ilir Sumatera Selatan bisa menampung kelebihan air dari debit limpasan air hujan dan air limbah rumah tangga dan didapat volume kolam retensi yang mampu menampung debit yang masuk ke kolam retensi

    An Overview on Evaluation of E-Learning/Training Response Time Considering Artificial Neural Networks Modeling

    The objective of this piece of research is to interpret and investigate systematically an observed brain functional phenomenon which associated with proceeding of e-learning processes. More specifically, this work addresses an interesting and challenging educational issue concerned with dynamical evaluation of e-learning performance considering convergence (response) time. That's based on an interdisciplinary recent approach named as Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) modeling. Which incorporate Nero-physiology, educational psychology, cognitive, and learning sciences. Herein, adopted application of neural modeling results in realistic dynamical measurements of e-learners' response time performance parameter. Initially, it considers time evolution of learners' experienced acquired intelligence level during proceeding of learning / training process. In the context of neurobiological details, the state of synaptic connectivity pattern (weight vector) inside e-learner's brain-at any time instant-supposed to be presented as timely varying dependent parameter. The varying modified synaptic state expected to lead to obtain stored experience spontaneously as learner's output (answer). Obviously, obtained responsive learner's output is a resulting action to any arbitrary external input stimulus (question). So, as the initial brain state of synaptic connectivity pattern (vector) considered as pre-intelligence level measured parameter. Actually, obtained e-learner’s answer is compatibly consistent with modified state of internal / stored experienced level of intelligence. In other words, dynamical changes of brain synaptic pattern (weight vector) modify adaptively convergence time of learning processes, so as to reach desired answer. Additionally, introduced research work is motivated by some obtained results for performance evaluation of some neural system models concerned with convergence time of learning process. Moreover, this paper considers interpretation of interrelations among some other interesting results obtained by a set of previously published educational models. The interpretational evaluation and analysis for introduced models results in some applicable studies at educational field as well as medically promising treatment of learning disabilities. Finally, an interesting comparative analogy between performances of ANNs modeling versus Ant Colony System (ACS) optimization presented at the end of this paper

    Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari pengungkapan laporan keberlanjutan terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan dimoderasi oleh ukuran perusahaan dan usia perusahaan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah perusahaan-perusahaan yang telah mengikuti Indonesia Sustainability Reporting Award pada tahun 2010 sampai 2013. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari sembilan perusahaan selama empat tahun pengamatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan moderated regression analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengungkapan laporan keberlanjutan tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, usia perusahaan dan ukuran perusahaan masing-masing tidak mampu memoderasi hubungan pengungkapan laporan keberlanjutan dengan nilai perusahaan.     International audienceA series of novel organically templated metal sulfates, [C(5)H(14)N(2)][M(II)(H(2)O)(6)](SO(4))(2) with (M(II) = Mn (1), Fe (2), Co (3) and Ni (4)), have been successfully synthesized by slow evaporation and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction as well as with infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and magnetic measurements. All compounds were prepared using a racemic source of the 2-methylpiperazine and they crystallized in the monoclinic systems, P2(1)/n for (1, 3) and P2(1)/c for (2,4). Crystal data are as follows: [C(5)H(14)N(2)][Mn(H(2)O)(6)](SO(4))(2), a = 6.6385(10) Å, b = 11.0448(2) Å, c = 12.6418(2) Å, β = 101.903(10)°, V = 906.98(3) Å(3), Z = 2; [C(5)H(14)N(2)][Fe(H(2)O)(6)](SO(4))(2), a = 10.9273(2) Å, b = 7.8620(10) Å, c = 11.7845(3) Å, β = 116.733(10)°, V = 904.20(3) Å(3), Z = 2; [C(5)H(14)N(2)][Co(H(2)O)(6)](SO(4))(2), a = 6.5710(2) Å, b = 10.9078(3) Å, c = 12.5518(3) Å, β = 101.547(2)°, V = 881.44(4) Å(3), Z = 2; [C(5)H(14)N(2)][Ni(H(2)O)(6)](SO(4))(2), a = 10.8328(2) Å, b = 7.8443(10) Å, c = 11.6790(2) Å, β = 116.826(10)°, V = 885.63(2) Å(3), Z = 2. The three-dimensional structure networks for these compounds consist of isolated [M(II)(H(2)O)(6)](2+) and [C(5)H(14)N(2)](2+) cations and (SO(4))(2-) anions linked by hydrogen-bonds only. The use of racemic 2-methylpiperazine results in crystallographic disorder of the amines and creation of inversion centers. The magnetic measurements indicate that the Mn complex (1) is paramagnetic, while compounds 2, 3 and 4, (M(II) = Fe, Co, Ni respectively) exhibit single ion anisotropy
