Opinnäytetyö tutkii strategisen johtamisen kehittämistä mikroyrityksessä, miksi strategisen johtamisen kehittämistä tarvitaan ja mitkä menetelmät soveltuvat strategisen johtamisen kehittämiseen. Lähestymistavaksi valittiin konstruktiivinen tutkimusote. Opinnäytetyön toimeksiantaja on mikroyritys. Tutkimuksesta tuli esiin yhä kasvava strategisen johtamisen merkitys nykypäivän haasteiden kanssa kamppailevan yrityksen toiminnassa. Johtamisen haasteena yrityksessä on mm. osaamisen kehittäminen niin nykyisten kuin tulevaisuudenkin kilpailuetujen luomiseksi talouden ja kysynnän elpyessä. Lisäksi yrityksen toimintaa pitäisi pyrkiä tehostamaan ja etsimään strategisen johtamisen kehittämisen keinoin tapaa, jolla selvitä alueen yritysten keskuudessa yhä kovenevassa kilpailussa. Teoreettisessa viitekehyksessä käsitellään strategiaa ja strategista johtamista ja sen kehittämistä eri teorioiden muodossa. Opinnäytetyötä tehdessä havaittiin, että strategisen johtamisen kehittämisen vaikutus yrityksen toimintaan on suuri.This thesis deals with the development of strategic management in a micro-enterprise, why the development of strategic management is needed and what methods are suita-ble for the development of strategic management. The constructive research method was chosen as the research approach. This thesis is commissioned by a micro-enterprise. The study brought out the growing importance of strategic management in an enterprise dealing with today´s challenges. The managerial challenge in an enterprise includes the development of skills for creating both current and future competitive advantages when economy and demand are recovering. In addition, an attempt should be made to increase the efficiency of the operation of the company by means of the development of strategic management to deal with the ever increasing local competitive market. In a theoretical frame of reference, strategy, strategic management and the development of strategic management are dealt with by means of various theories. Development of Thumb-Operated Dial-Type Integrated Switch for Automobile and its Effectiveness

A thumb-operated dial-type integrated switch for automobile use was developed, and the task completion time for this type of integrated switch was compared with that for a traditional integrated switch. The rotation torque of an encoder and the rotation diameter were selected as experimental parameters. An attempt was made to identify the optimal and recommended condition of rotation torque and diameter. It was demonstrated that the thumb-operated dial-type integrated switch lead to faster task completion time as compared with the traditional integrated switch. As for the thumb-operated dial-type integrated switch, the following combination of the rotation torque and the rotation diameter were not proper: diameter of 20mm for the rotation torque of 12.9mN・m and 9.2mN・m, and diameters of 20mm and 40mm for the rotation torque of 8.6 mN・m. It was also suggested that the optimal condition cannot be identified using the condition of the rotation force only, and that the optimal condition must be determined taking into account the combination of the rotation torque and the rotation diameter

Same Question, Different World: Replicating an Open Access Research Impact Study

To examine changes in the open access landscape over time, this study partially replicated Kristin Antelman’s 2004 study of open access citation advantage. Results indicated open access articles still have a citation advantage. For three of the four disciplines examined, the most common sites hosting freely available articles were independent sites, such as academic social networks or article sharing sites. For the same three disciplines, more than 70% of the open access copies were publishers’ PDFs. The major difference from Antelman’s is the increase in the number of freely available articles that appear to be in violation of publisher policies
