Emergence of fractal behavior in condensation-driven aggregation
We investigate a model in which an ensemble of chemically identical Brownian
particles are continuously growing by condensation and at the same time undergo
irreversible aggregation whenever two particles come into contact upon
collision. We solved the model exactly by using scaling theory for the case
whereby a particle, say of size , grows by an amount over the
time it takes to collide with another particle of any size. It is shown that
the particle size spectra of such system exhibit transition to dynamic scaling
accompanied by the emergence of fractal of
dimension . One of the remarkable feature of this
model is that it is governed by a non-trivial conservation law, namely, the
moment of is time invariant regardless of the choice of the
initial conditions. The reason why it remains conserved is explained by using a
simple dimensional analysis. We show that the scaling exponents and
are locked with the fractal dimension via a generalized scaling relation

Is Low Alveolar Type II Cell SOD3 in the Lungs of Elderly Linked to the Observed Severity of COVID-19?
Human lungs single cell RNA sequencing data from healthy donors (elderly and young; GEO accession number GSE122960) were analyzed to isolate and specifically study gene expression in alveolar type II cells. Co-localization of ACE2 and TMPRSS2 enables SARS-CoV 2 to enter the cells. Expression of these genes in the alveolar type II cells of elderly and young patients were comparable and therefore do not seem to be responsible for worse outcomes observed in COVID-19 affected elderly. In cells from the elderly, 263 genes were downregulated and 95 upregulated. SOD3 was identified as the top-ranked gene that was most down-regulated in the elderly. Other redox-active genes that were also downregulated in cells from the elderly included ATF4 and M2TA. ATF4, an ER stress sensor that defends lungs via induction of heme oxygenase 1. The study of downstream factors known to be induced by ATF4, according to Ingenuity Pathway AnalysisTM, identified 24 candidates. Twenty-one of these were significantly downregulated in the cells from the elderly. These downregulated candidates were subjected to enrichment using the Reactome Database identifying that in the elderly, the ability to respond to heme deficiency and the ATF4-dependent ability to respond to endoplasmic reticulum stress is significantly compromised. SOD3-based therapeutic strategies have provided beneficial results in treating lung disorders including fibrosis. The findings of this work propose the hypotheses that lung-specific delivery of SOD3/ATF4 related antioxidants may work in synergy with promising anti-viral drugs such as remdesivir to further improve COVID-19 outcomes in the elderly
Hadron Production in Neutrino-Nucleon Interactions at High Energies
The multi-particle production at high energy neutrino- nucleon collisions are
investigated through the analysis of the data of the experiment CERN-WA-025 at
neutrino energy less than 260GeV and the experiments FNAL-616 and FNAL-701 at
energy range 120-250 GeV. The general features of these experiments are used as
base to build a hypothetical model that views the reaction by a Feynman diagram
of two vertices. The first of which concerns the weak interaction between the
neutrino and the quark constituents of the nucleon. At the second vertex, a
strong color field is assumed to play the role of particle production, which
depend on the momentum transferred from the first vertex. The wave function of
the nucleon quarks are determined using the variation method and relevant
boundary conditions are applied to calculate the deep inelastic cross sections

On non commutative sinh-Gordon Equation
We give a noncommutative extension of sinh-Gordon equation. We generalize a
linear system and Lax representation of the sinh-Gordon equation in
noncommutative space. This generalization gives a noncommutative version of the
sinh-Gordon equation with extra constraints, which can be expressed as global

Massive Gravity Theories and limits of Ghost-free Bigravity models
We construct a class of theories which extend New Massive Gravity to higher
orders in curvature in any dimension. The lagrangians arise as limits of a new
class of bimetric theories of Lovelock gravity, which are unitary theories free
from the Boulware-Deser ghost. These Lovelock bigravity models represent the
most general non-chiral ghost-free theories of an interacting massless and
massive spin-two field in any dimension. The scaling limit is taken in such a
way that unitarity is explicitly broken, but the Boulware-Deser ghost remains
absent. This automatically implies the existence of a holographic -theorem
for these theories. We also show that the Born-Infeld extension of New Massive
Gravity falls into our class of models demonstrating that this theory is also
free of the Boulware-Deser ghost. These results extend existing connections
between New Massive Gravity, bigravity theories, Galileon theories and

Histopathological and immunohistochemical study of the protective effect of triptorelin on the neurocytes of the hippocampus and the cerebral cortex of male albino rats after short-term exposure to cyclophosphamide
AbstractChemotherapy treats many types of cancer effectively but it often causes side effects. Chemotherapy works on active cells, such as cancer cells, and some healthy cells. Side effects happen when chemotherapy damages these healthy cells. Today, many more drugs are available to treat side effects than in the past. Triptorelin (Decapeptyl) is a gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist that is reported to have many therapeutic effects besides being an anti-cancer agent. In the current study, intraperitoneal cyclophosphamide (65mg/kg/day) was administered for 4 weeks to induce marked dystrophic changes in the cerebral cortex and hippocampus of male albino rats. After 4 weeks, we observed significant degeneration of neurocytes with dystrophic changes. Subcutaneous triptorelin (0.05mg/kg/day) for 4 weeks significantly improved histological signs of degeneration and apoptosis. Anti-Bcl2 staining of sections of the cerebral cortex and hippocampus showed that the apoptotic index was increased. This finding was confirmed by the anti-p53 staining, which showed a significant decrease in the apoptotic index. Ultimately, such improvements were accompanied by significant restoration of normal brain histology, as revealed by hematoxylin and eosin. In conclusion, triptorelin can reverse the apoptotic changes induced by cyclophosphamide therapy, which is more marked in the hippocampus than cerebral cortex
Synthesis, Spectroscopic Characterization of Cobalt ComplexfromC16H19N3O3S and photodegradation using prepared Nano TiO2catalyst
Coblatcomplex has been prepared by reaction between C16H19N3O3S (L) as ligand and metal salt (II). The prepared complex were characterized by infrared spectra, electromic spectra, magnetic susceptibility, molar conductivity measurement and metal analysis by atomic absorption and (C.H.N) analysis. From these studies tetrahedral geometry structure for the complex was suggested. The photodegredation of complex were study using photoreaction cell and preparednanoTiO2 catalyst in different conditions (concentration, temperatures, pH).The results show that the recation is of a first order with activation energy equal to (6.6512 kJ /mol)
