    Endurance (daya tahan) tiap manusia pasti berbeda-beda. Suatu pekerjaan yang dilakukan di waktu yang cukup lama akan membutuhkan endurance yang tinggi. Endurance yang baik dalam melakukan suatu pekerjaan akan dapat mengurangi timbulnya kesalahan dalam pekerjaan yang sedang dilakukan. Ada 2 faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi endurance manusia, yaitu faktor fisiologis dan faktor psikologis. Suara merupakan salah satu faktor psikologis yang dapat mempengaruhi endurance manusia. Ada 2 macam suara, yaitu suara yang teratur membentuk harmoni, sering disebut dengan musik dan suara yang tidak teratur. Sebuah penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang ditimbulkan oleh musik terhadap daya tahan seseorang dalam hal ini mahasiswa Universitas Katolik Widya Mandala Surabaya, khususnya Fakultas Teknik. Pada Penelitian ini digunakan 2 faktor yaitu faktor jenis musik dan faktor intensitas suara. Selain itu akan diterapkan blok karakteristik orang. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah adanya pengaruh dari blok karakteristik seseorang terhadap endurance.     Hensikten med studien er å belyse hvordan sykepleieren kan identifisere SIRS/Sepsis tidlig og dermed redusere mortaliteten. Resultatet viser at et vellykket resultat og redusert dødelighet for pasienter med sepsis krever rask identifisering og tidlig behandling. SIRS kriteriene kan være tegn på systemisk infeksjon, men kan være annerledes hos eldre pasienter. Resultatet viser manglende kunnskap blant sykepleiere rundt tegn og symptomer på sepsis. Pasientene blir ofte identifisert for sent eller ikke i det hele tatt. Triage kan redusere dødelighet og forbedrer prosess og resultat. Sykepleieren må kunne utføre triage tidlig i forløpet. Intervensjon og bruk av nye verktøy kan være nyttig for å identifisere sepsispasienter

    Oštećenja u aluminiju proizvedena zračenjem iz CO2 i Nd:YAG lasera

    The change in the electrical properties of pure aluminium (Al 99.999%) after exposure to CO2 (energy = 2.5 J/pulse, wavelength = 10.6 µm, pulse duration = 200 nsec) and Nd:YAG (energy = 10 mJ/pulse, wavelength = 1.06 µm and pulse duration = 12 nsec) laser radiation is investigated. The samples were exposed to laser radiations for different numbers of pulses. The change in electrical characteristics of Al is studied under different ambient conditions, after irradiating the samples in air, vacuum and hydrogen at different pressures. After exposure, the electrical conductivity of Al is measured by the four probe method. The electrical conductivity decreases with increasing number of pulses. The damage in air and in hydrogen is more pronounced than in vacuum which can be attributed to collisionnal sputtering of Al by plasma ions of air molecules and hydrogen, respectively. The change in the conductivity in hydrogen is pressure-dependent. Some theoretical considerations are also made, e.g. the phonon speed in Al during the photon interaction, minimal melting and evaporation energy per volume, damage threshold energy, penetration depth, the mass of heated volume and average temperature rise at the Al surface during laser irradiation.Proučavamo promjene električnih svojstava čistog aluminija (Al 99.999%) nakon obasjavanja CO2 (energija = 2.5 J/puls, valna duljina = 10.6 µm, trajanje pulsa = 200 nsec) i Nd:YAG (energija = 10 mJ/puls, valna duljina = 1.06 µm, trajanje pulsa = 12 nsec) laserima. Uzorci su izloženi različitim brojevima pulseva. Proučavali smo promjene električne vodljivosti Al s uzorcima u zraku, vakuumu i u vodiku. Nakon obasjavanja mjerili smo električnu vodljivost metodom četiriju spojišta. Električna se vodljivost smanjuje nakon povećanog broja pulseva. Oštećenja u zraku i vodiku veća su nego u vakuumu, što se pripisuje sudarnom rasprašivanju Al ionima molekula zraka odnosno vodika u plazmi. Promjena vodljivosti uzoraka obasjanih u vodiku ovisna je o tlaku.     The research objective is to develop an application that allows users to participate in a loyalty program and facilitate Smartphone enterprise (Merchant) in access, sale and observation of customer transactions through mobile applications. Design method used is object-based design that includes a UML of use case diagrams, use case narrative, class diagram, sequence diagrams and activity diagrams. Results achieved in the form of mobile applications that are able to facilitate customer in managing loyalty cards as well as to increase customer loyalty. This application features, such as add points, redeem, news, transaction history, and message that can facilitate customer in managing customer loyalty card. The conclusion of this design is that the application of E Points can enable customers to manage a loyalty card in Smartphone, add points, redeem rewards, obtain the latest promotional information through news features, and view transaction history

    Background: A repeats-in-toxin (RTX) leukotoxin and its integrin receptor aggregate in cholesterol-rich lipid rafts. Results: The affinity of the toxin to cholesterol is driven by a cholesterol recognition/amino acid consensus (CRAC) motif. Conclusion: Leukotoxin cytotoxicity is regulated by the CRAC motif. Significance: Other RTX toxins contain this CRAC motif, suggesting a role for cholesterol recognition in RTX cytolysis. © 2013 by The American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Inc
