Die häusliche Gewalt in Beziehungen und das Strafrecht: Regelungsdefizite und Reformansätze

Die rechtliche Regulierung häuslicher Gewalt in Beziehungen stellt die Rechtswissenschaft vor komplexe Aufgaben. Partnerschaftsgewalt durchdringt nach wie vor sämtliche Gesellschaftsschichten und ist weltweit in nahezu allen Kulturen verbreitet. In dieser Arbeit werden die bestehenden Regelungsdefizite im Strafrecht hinsichtlich der Bekämpfung häuslicher Gewalt in Beziehungen untersucht. Die Arbeit ist in fünf Teile untergliedert, die jeweils unterschiedliche Aspekte beleuchten und Reformansätze entwickeln. Im ersten Teil wird auf die völkerrechtlichen Grundlagen für einen verbesserten Schutz und eine bessere strafrechtliche Ahndung häuslicher Gewalt eingegangen. Der zweite Teil legt den Begriff der häuslichen Gewalt fest und analysiert die bisherigen Sanktionsmöglichkeiten sowie kriminologische und psychologische Erkenntnisse. Im dritten Teil widmet sich die Arbeit dem formellen Strafrecht und erarbeitet spezielle Schutzregelungen für Opfer häuslicher Gewalt. Dabei wird untersucht, ob eine Opferdefinition im Strafrecht erforderlich ist und auf reformbedürftige Punkte hinsichtlich des Opferschutzes eingegangen. Themen wie das Zeugnisverweigerungsrecht, die psychosoziale Prozessbegleitung, die ermittlungsrichterliche Vernehmung, Privat- und Antragsdelikte sowie die Nebenklage werden vertieft behandelt. An den Teil des formellen Strafrechts schließt sich die Untersuchung des materiellen Strafrechts an. Hier wird die derzeitige Gesetzeslage zu häuslicher Gewalt auf ihre Reformbedürftigkeit hin untersucht und konkrete Reformvorschläge erarbeitet. Auf Grundlage der Analyse des formellen und materiellen Rechts wird abschließend die Forschungsfrage beantwortet, inwiefern Verbesserungsbedarf im deutschen Strafrecht hinsichtlich häuslicher Gewalt besteht und ob ein eigener Tatbestand gegen häusliche Gewalt im deutschen materiellen Strafrecht sinnvoll und notwendig ist

Generierung und Evaluation von modifizierten NK-Zellen mit SDF-1alpha-Chemotaxis und Reaktivität gegen EGFRvIII-positive Gliomzellen

Die vorliegende Arbeit beinhaltet die Generierung und Evaluation von Natürlichen Killerzellen, die EGFRvIII-positive und SDF-1alpha sekretierende primäre Glioblastomzellen aufspüren, erkennen und effizient abtöten können. Die Kombination der gelenkten Zytotoxizität mit einer optimierten Migration von Effektorzellen des Immunsystems wird auf Grundlage der in dieser Arbeit gewonnenen Daten als ein vielversprechender Ansatz für eine zukünftige Therapie des primären Glioblastoms vorgeschlagen

A field guide to Berlin. Designing teaching material for a field visit in urban studies

This field guide is part of a larger field course called ‘Urban Dynamics’ (Dynamiques Urbaines), running in the third year of the Bachelor degree in Geography at the University of Lausanne. In this course, students are expected to define and realise for the first time a self-organised research project in groups, taking place in Berlin. It starts from the observation that urban change is always subject to contestation and debate, and therefore to politics. We distinguish between big P Politics, that is, the institutionalised politics of political institutions, state actors, and officials; and small p politics, the politics of everyday contestations, solidarity, protesting and sometimes of simply acting in one way than another, that pervades Berlin. It contains two field days in Berlin that students can undertake as a self-guided tour. Each day has four sites for which the field guide contains both background information, key concepts of urban geography, and questions that familiarise them with important debates

Hemp Waste as a Substrate for Hermetia illucens (L.) (Diptera: Stratiomyidae) and Tenebrio molitor L. (Coleoptera: Tenebrionidae) Rearing

This study aimed to test the potential of cannabis agricultural wastes as a substrate for the rearing of black soldier fly larvae (BSFL) and yellow mealworms (MW). In the case of BSFL, replacing the fibre component (straw) in the substrate with the hemp waste can increase the nutritional value of the substrate and led to bigger larvae. The bigger larvae had lower P and Mg, and higher Fe and Ca. Crude protein also varied based on the size of larvae and/or the content of protein in the initial substrate, which was boosted by replacing straw with hemp material. No other cannabinoids than cannabidiolic acid (CBDA), cannabigerolic acid (CBGA), and cannabidiol (CBD) were found in significant amounts in the larvae. In the case of MW, the larvae grew less on the hemp material in comparison to wheat bran. Replacing wheat bran with the hemp material led to smaller larvae with higher Ca, Fe, K, and crude protein content, but lower Mg and P values. No cannabinoids were detected in the MW fed with the hemp material.Peer Reviewe

The RCX extension hub: a resource for implementations extending the R adaption of the cytoscape exchange format

Public repositories provide access to biological networks for investigations, and subsequently serve to distribute the network encoded biomedical and even clinically relevant results. However, inclusion of complementary information requires data structures and implementations customized to the integrated data for network representation, usage in supporting application, and extending analysis functionality. Partitioning of this information into individual aspects of a network facilitates compatibility and reusability of the network-based results, but also requires support and accessibility of the extensions and their implementations. The RCX extension hub offers overview and access to extensions of the Cytoscape exchange format implemented in R. The hub supports the realization of self-customized extension through guides, example implementations, and a template for the creation of R extension packages
