With the rapid economic growth, the people have a higher pursuit of physical health and spiritual culture, so square dances spread all over the streets and are an important part of the cultural life of the people and a key form of expression. Through the study of square dance, it is possible to seek a good development platform for mass sports and to better promote the development of national fitness. This topic takes the current status of square dance in Yongchuan District of Chongqing as the research object, investigates the development of square dance here, and applies SWOT analysis to the research results, establishes a structural model and conducts a factor analysis finally. From the research, rules will be summed up, problems be found and recommendations be come up with to provide some basis for filling the gaps in the study of square dance in Yongchuan District, and also to offer references for the development of square dance in other regions

    An Irrationally Rational Game Model

In the application of game theory into the scenario of selling and buying a product in real life, sellers and buyers concern not only the acquisition utility of the good but also the transaction utility. To this end, in this paper we develop a game model with payoff matrix of aggregating transaction utility and acquisition utility, where we set the perceived transaction utility of a customer according to prospect theory. Moreover, we also study how the equilibrium of a game of this kind is influenced by some irrational factors that can be reflected by transaction utility. Finally, we use our model explain why online promotion selling in Tmall.com on Singles’ Day is so successful in China

Subjective Score Predictor: A New Evaluation Function of Distorted Image Quality

Image quality assessment (IQA) is a method to evaluate the perceptual performance of image. Many objective IQA algorithms are developed from the objective comparison of image features, which are mainly trained and evaluated from the ground truth of subjective scores. Due to the inconsistent experiment conditions and cumbersome observing processes of subjective experiments, it is imperative to generate the ground truth for IQA research via objective computation methods. In this paper, we propose a subjective score predictor (SSP) aiming to provide the ground truth of IQA datasets. In perfect accord with distortion information, the distortion strength of distorted image is employed as a dependent parameter. To further be consistent with subjective opinion, on the one hand, the subjective score of source image is viewed as a quality base value, and, on the other hand, we integrate the distortion parameter and the quality base value into a human visual model function to obtain the final SSP value. Experimental results demonstrate the advantages of the proposed SSP in the following aspects: effective performance to reflect the distortion strength, competitive ground truth, and valid evaluation for objective IQA methods as well as subjective scores

A Search for Spectral Galaxy Pairs of Overlapping Galaxies based on Fuzzy Recognition

The Spectral Galaxy Pairs (SGPs) are defined as the composite galaxy spectra which contain two independent redshift systems. These spectra are useful for studying dust properties of the foreground galaxies. In this paper, a total of 165 spectra of SGPs are mined out from Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) Data Release 9 (DR9) using the concept of membership degree from the fuzzy set theory particularly defined to be suitable for fuzzily identifying emission lines. The spectra and images of this sample are classified according to the membership degree and their image features, respectively. Many of these 2nd redshift systems are too small or too dim to select from the SDSS images alone, making the sample a potentially unique source of information on dust effects in low-luminosity or low-surface-brightness galaxies that are underrepresented in morphological pair samples. The dust extinction of the objects with high membership degree is also estimated by Balmer decrement. Additionally, analyses for a series of spectroscopic observations of one SGP from 165 systems indicate that a newly star-forming region of our Milky Way might occur.Comment: 16pages, 6figure

Study on heat integration of supercritical coal-fired power plant with post-combustion COâ‚‚ capture process through process simulation

Coal-fired power plant (CFPP) is one of the main sources of anthropogenic COâ‚‚ emissions. Capturing COâ‚‚ from CFPP by post-combustion process plays an important role to mitigate COâ‚‚ emissions. However, a significant thermal efficiency drop was observed when integrating CFPP with post-combustion carbon capture (PCC) process due to the steam extraction for capture solvent regeneration. Thus research efforts are required to decrease this energy penalty. In this study, a steady state model for 600 MWe supercritical CFPP was developed as a reference case with a low heating value (LHV) based efficiency of 41.6%. A steady state model for MEA-based PCC process was also developed and scaled up to match the capacity of the CFPP. COâ‚‚ compression process was simulated to give an accurate prediction of its electricity consumption and cooling requirement. Different integration cases were set up according to different positions of steam extraction from the CFPP. The results show that the efficiency penalty is 12.29% and 14.9% when steam was extracted at 3.64 bar and at 9.1 bar respectively. Obvious improvements were achieved by utilizing waste heat from COâ‚‚ capture and compression process, taking part of low pressure cylinders out of service, and adding an auxiliary turbine to decompress the extracted steam. The efficiency penalty of the best case decreases to 9.75%. This study indicates that comprehensive heat integrations can significantly improve the overall energy efficiency when the CFPP is integrated with PCC and compression process

Glycogen synthase kinase-3β inhibition induces nuclear factor-κB-mediated apoptosis in pediatric acute lymphocyte leukemia cells

<p>Abstract</p> <p>Background</p> <p>Molecular therapies that target genetic abnormalities in leukemic cells and their affected signaling pathways have been emerging in pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Glycogen synthase kinase-3β (GSK-3β) has recently been found to positively regulate the activity of nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB). Here, we investigated the relationship between GSK-3β inhibition and NF-κB in apoptosis of pediatric primary leukemia cells obtained from 39 newly diagnosed ALL children in China.</p> <p>Methods</p> <p>Bone marrow mononuclear cells (BMMC) were isolated by density gradient centrifugation from the heparinized aspirates of children with ALL. We used immunofluorescence staining to detect nuclear GSK-3β in these cells. After treatment with chemically distinct GSK-3β inhibitors in vitro, NF-κB transcriptional activity was identified by means of western blotting and electrophoretic mobility shift assay (EMSA). NF-κB-mediated apoptosis was detected by Annexin V-PE/7-AAD double-staining flow cytometry. The expression level of the <it>survivin </it>gene was detected by reverse-transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).</p> <p>Results</p> <p>GSK-3β significantly accumulates in the nuclei of ALL cells than in the nuclei of control cells. Cell death induced by GSK-3β inhibition in ALL cells was mediated by a downregulation of NF-κB p65 transcriptional activity. GSK-3β inhibition significantly decreased the expression of the NF-κB target gene <it>survivin</it>.</p> <p>Conclusions</p> <p>These results indicate that inhibition of GSK-3β downregulates the NF-κB activation pathway, leading to suppression of the expression of an NF-κB-regulated gene and promotion of apoptosis in ALL cells in vitro. Furthermore, our findings suggest that GSK-3β or NF-κB is a potential therapeutic target in the treatment of pediatric ALL.</p
