Traducciones, reflexión metatraductora y lingüística: una propuesta

In this paper I reflect on some examples of my activity as a translator guided by the following questions: since translations often broaden the boundaries of language, can we consider the contribution of translated texts to systematic language research? And further, is the meta-translational and metalinguistic reflection of translators important for the study of language? To answer these questions, I will consider the nature of translation and writing as twin operations, and after mentioning synthetically and essentially the theory that guides my translating decisions, I will dwell on some examples concerning the “creative” use of verbal tenses in my Spanish translations of Umberto Eco’s The Island of the Day Before (1995) and The Mysterious Flame of Queen Loana (2005)

ESTUDIO DE LA EFICIENCIA ENERGÉTICA Y LA SOSTENIBILIDAD DE LOS SISTEMAS DE GENERACIÓN DE ENERGÍA EN UN EDIFICIO TERCIARIO DE LA UNIVERSIDAD DE JAÉN mediante la metodología de Análisis de Ciclo de Vida (ACV).

Sobre los sectores edificatorio e industrial recaen diversas razones que ha provocado un aumento excesivo en el consumo de energía, y por lo tanto, un efecto rebote en el medioambiente. Esta es la razón, del por qué el consumo de energía en los edificios públicos, ha tenido un incremento ascendente. Esto ha provocado que estos sectores sean con un 60% los que estén en cabeza en las emisiones de CO2 a la atmósfera, y que tenga su origen en la generación de dicha energía. En los últimos años se han realizado políticas para aumentar la eficiencia energética en todos los sectores, pero se han ido dejando de lado, otros aspectos como la reducción de las materias primas, las emisiones al agua o al suelo, y otros impactos que se generan en el ciclo de vida de los edificios. En esta tesis se ha llevado a cabo un estudio para reducir el impacto ambiental de los edificios públicos considerando el ciclo de vida completo de todos los sistemas del edificio, mediante una metodología que integre criterios de diseño, medioambientales, económicos y que favorezca la eficiencia energética.The building and industrial sectors are affected for various reasons that have caused an excessive increase in energy consumption, and therefore, a rebound effect on the environment. This is the reason why the energy consumption in public buildings has suffered an upward increase, and associated with it. This has caused these sectors to account for 60% of those that are in the lead in CO2 emissions into the atmosphere, and which originate from the generation of such energy. In recent years, policies have been implemented to increase energy efficiency in all sectors, but other aspects such as the reduction of raw materials, emissions to water or soil, and other impacts that are generated have been neglected in the life cycle of buildings. In this thesis, a study has been carried out to reduce the environmental impact of public buildings over the entire life cycle of all building systems, using a methodology that integrates design, environmental, and economic criteria that favor energy efficiency.Tesis Univ.
