Dynamical Symmetries in q-deformed Quantum Mechanics
The dynamical algebra of the q-deformed harmonic oscillator is constructed.
As a result, we find the free deformed Hamiltonian as well as the Hamiltonian
of the deformed oscillator as a complicated, momentum dependent interaction
Hamiltonian in terms of the usual canonical variables. Furthermore we construct
a well-defined algebra SU(1,1) with consistent conjugation properties and
comultiplication. We obtain non lowest weight representations of this algebra.Comment: 19 pages, latex, no figure
An inquiry into the impact of globalization on the potential for 'sustainable consumption' in households
This paper aims to determine whether and how globalization affects the sustainability of household consumption in industrialized countries. Our focus of inquiry arises from the existence of a tremendous gap between references to the influence of globalization on sustainable consumption in political and academic discussions on the one side and empirical evidence on the reality and strength of such an influence on the other. In order to prepare the ground for filling this gap, our paper inquires into the possibilities of a respective empirical study. Our specific focus of inquiry is on the three consumption clusters food, mobility, and energy
WYNIKI PRODUKCYJNE KRÓLIKÓW ŻYWIONYCH PODCZAS TUCZU MIESZANKĄ BEZ DODATKU KOKCYDIOSTAKTYKU
The objective of this study was to determine whether meat-type rabbits can be fed a diet without coccidiostatics during the fattening period. The effect of feeding two pelleted diets was compared during the experiment. The control diet was supplemented with the coccidiostatic drug robenidine, while the experimental diet contained no coccidiostatics. Over the experimental period the animals were weighed at 35, 56, 70, 77 and 90 days of age. Feces samples were taken for parasitological analysis and assayed for the presence of coccidia. Mortality rates were determined at particular stages of the experiment. It was found that a diet without the coccidiostatic drug had no statistically significant effect on the final body weights of rabbits. It was also demonstrated that coccidian infection rates and mortality rates were slightly higher in the experimental group.
NC Wilson lines and the inverse Seiberg-Witten map for nondegenerate star products
Open Wilson lines are known to be the observables of noncommutative gauge
theory with Moyal-Weyl star product. We generalize these objects to more
general star products. As an application we derive a formula for the inverse
Seiberg-Witten map for star products with invertible Poisson structures.Comment: 8 page
q-Deforming Maps for Lie Group Covariant Heisenberg Algebras

Classical and quantum q-deformed physical systems
On the basis of the non-commutative q-calculus, we investigate a
q-deformation of the classical Poisson bracket in order to formulate a
generalized q-deformed dynamics in the classical regime. The obtained
q-deformed Poisson bracket appears invariant under the action of the
q-symplectic group of transformations. In this framework we introduce the
q-deformed Hamilton's equations and we derive the evolution equation for some
simple q-deformed mechanical systems governed by a scalar potential dependent
only on the coordinate variable. It appears that the q-deformed Hamiltonian,
which is the generator of the equation of motion, is generally not conserved in
time but, in correspondence, a new constant of motion is generated. Finally, by
following the standard canonical quantization rule, we compare the well known
q-deformed Heisenberg algebra with the algebra generated by the q-deformed
Poisson bracket.Comment: 9 pages, accepted for publication in "The European Physical Journal

Multiagency safeguarding arrangements during and beyond the Covid-19 pandemic: identifying shared learning
Measures to combat transmission of the coronavirus presented unprecedented challenges for safeguarding and child protection practice, including through withdrawal of routine opportunities to observe and engage with children and families and disruption of systems for inter-agency communication and coordination. This article reports on a two-stage study designed to identify shared learning from adaptations to professional practice in response to the measures. Interviews with 67 London-based senior safeguarding leads from seven professional groups undertaken during the summer of 2020 informed an England-wide survey to similar groups in February–March 2021. SPSS was used to analyse 417 responses, which were supplemented by answers to open questions. Findings are reported using the six practice themes which the Child Safeguarding Practice Review Panel expects to inform shared learning to improve safeguarding at national and local levels. The study revealed the formidable barriers facing professionals in understanding the changing environments in which children were living and in identifying and assessing new or altered risks due to the pandemic; steps taken to respond to changing risks and to keep in touch and re-engage families; strategies to support critical thinking and challenge among professionals working under unprecedented pressure; and opportunities for enhanced multiagency working and inter-agency collaboration
