Network Performance Measurement through Machine to Machine Communication in Tele-Robotics System

    Get PDF
Machine-to-machine (M2M) communication devices communicate and exchange information with each other in an independent manner to perform necessary tasks. The machine communicates with another machine over a wireless network. Wireless communication opens up the environment to huge vulnerabilities, making it very easy for hackers to gain access to sensitive information and carry out malicious actions. This paper proposes an M2M communication system through the internet in Tele-Robotics and provides network performance security. Tele-robotic systems are designed for surgery, treatment and diagnostics to be conducted across short or long distances while utilizing wireless communication networks. The systems also provide a low delay and secure communication system for the tele-robotics community and data security. The system can perform tasks autonomously and intelligently, minimizing the burden on medical staff and improving the quality and system performance of patient care. In the medical field, surgeons and patients are located at different places and connected through public networks. So the design of a medical sensor node network with LEACH protocol for secure and reliable communication ensures through the attack and without attack performance. Finally, the simulation results show low delay and reliable secure network transmission

Chemoselective C-benzoylation of phenols by using AlCl3 under solvent-free conditions

    Get PDF
Substituted phenols were chemo-selectively reacted with benzoylchloride in presence of aluminum chloride under solvent-free condition to afford the corresponding 2'-hydroxy aryl benzophenones in excellent yields (72-96%). Naphthol benzoylation resulted in lower yields as compared to phenols. Both reactions completed in 5-10 min with quantitative yields providing excellent control over regioselectivity of products. KEY WORDS: Chemoselective C-acylation, F-C reaction, Fries rearrangement Bull. A simple method for the synthesis of α-γ-disubstituted-γ-butyrolactones by cyclization of α-allyl esters using iodine in dimethylsulphoxide is reported. This method is efficient and operationally simple in comparison to methods using transition metal complexes. KEY WORDS: γ-Butyrolactones, α-Allyl esters, Iodine, Dimethyl sulphoxide Bull. Chem. Soc. Ethiop. 2014, 28(3), 469-473.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.4314/bcse.v28i3.1

Dynamic and Static Gesture Recognition System Using Moments

Gesture recognition is the novel idea to enhance the signs recognition of those who have speech and hearing disability .Our project discusses an improved method for gesture recognition .The algorithm extracts the gestures from the video given to it and it detects the hand using HSV skin color segmentation in the intent to eliminate the other parts of the body and detect only hands .It distinguishes between static and dynamic gestures and extracts the appropriate feature vector .We used SPHINX parser to form word from set of letters. We strive to enhance the reliability and efficiency by using faster static gesture recognition algorithm

Ambient Noise Level Prediction during Festival Season in Metro City of South East Asian Region

Physical pollutants such as noise, causes so much confusion regarding its effect, often take the back seat when deleterious effects to the environment are considered. Metropolitan city of South East Asian region was selected for the study where day and night noise is monitored in higher levels in festival seasons as well as in normal seasons in all zones. It was found that prescribed noise level were increased 19.23%, 19.33% and 23.08% near Courts, schools and hospitals respectively under the silent zone. Slum areas are already affected whole year and noise level in middle class areas recorded 7.69% higher in festival season where as high class residential areas are found safer than the other two types of areas under the residential zone. Almost 85% areas under commercial zone are affected by higher noise levels in both the seasons where as in festival season only 4% readings were increases in day and night. Over all 10.25% and 8.12% day & night noise level were increases where as hectic city traffic increases 36.58% rapidly in festival season in all the zones. The affects can also be seen in the form of variety of negative emotions including anger, disappointment, unhappiness, anxiety and even depression. Therefore to avoid the adverse effects there is an urgent need to control noise pollution by implementing strict rules and through launching awareness-campaign

Abstract The study on thermodynamics of ion exchange equilibrium for uni-univalent H + / Na + and H + / K + reaction systems was carried out using strongly acidic cation exchange resin Tulsion T-46. The equilibrium constant K calculated for uni-univalent ion exchange reaction systems were observed to increase with rise in temperature indicating the endothermic ion exchange reactions having the enthalpy values 4.19 and 3.80 kJ /mol respectively
