    MoCoSA: Momentum Contrast for Knowledge Graph Completion with Structure-Augmented Pre-trained Language Models

    Knowledge Graph Completion (KGC) aims to conduct reasoning on the facts within knowledge graphs and automatically infer missing links. Existing methods can mainly be categorized into structure-based or description-based. On the one hand, structure-based methods effectively represent relational facts in knowledge graphs using entity embeddings. However, they struggle with semantically rich real-world entities due to limited structural information and fail to generalize to unseen entities. On the other hand, description-based methods leverage pre-trained language models (PLMs) to understand textual information. They exhibit strong robustness towards unseen entities. However, they have difficulty with larger negative sampling and often lag behind structure-based methods. To address these issues, in this paper, we propose Momentum Contrast for knowledge graph completion with Structure-Augmented pre-trained language models (MoCoSA), which allows the PLM to perceive the structural information by the adaptable structure encoder. To improve learning efficiency, we proposed momentum hard negative and intra-relation negative sampling. Experimental results demonstrate that our approach achieves state-of-the-art performance in terms of mean reciprocal rank (MRR), with improvements of 2.5% on WN18RR and 21% on OpenBG500

    Are Maternal Feeding Practices and Mealtime Emotions Associated with Toddlers’ Food Neophobia?A Follow-Up to the DIT-Coombe Hospital Birth Cohort in Ireland

    This study was conducted to explore the associations between maternal feeding practices,mealtime emotions, as well as maternal food neophobia and toddlers’ food neophobia in Ireland.A follow-up to the Technological University Dublin (DIT)-Coombe Hospital birth cohort wasconducted. Mothers in the original cohort were invited to the present study by telephone calls.Postal questionnaires with stamped addressed envelopes were distributed to those who agreed toparticipate in the study. Toddler food neophobia was assessed by the modified version of the ChildFood Neophobia Scale (CFNS). There were 205 participants included in this study, with a median scoreof child food neophobia of 12. A higher degree of child food neophobia (score\u3e12) was positivelyassociated with the maternal practice of coaxing the children to eat at refusal (OR (Odds Ratio)=2.279,95% CI: 1.048–4.955), unpleasant emotions at mealtime (e.g., stressful or hectic for mothers, or tearfulfor children) (OR ranged between 1.618 and 1.952), and mothers’ own degree of food neophobia(OR=1.036, 95% CI: 1.001–1.072). Mothers who were not worried when confronted with child’s foodrefusal was negatively associated with toddlers’ food neophobia (OR=0.251, 95% CI: 0.114–0.556).This study suggests the maternal practices of responsive feeding, being calm and patient with thetoddlers, and creating a positive atmosphere at mealtime

    Knowledge, Attitude and Practices (KAP) towards Diet and Health among International Students in Dublin: A Cross-Sectional Study

    International students may have difficulties in dietary acculturation. This study aimed to evaluate the knowledge, attitude and practices (KAP) of diet and health during the acculturation of international students. A cross-sectional survey was conducted among a convenience sample of 473 international students in Dublin. Knowledge, attitude and practices towards diet and health were evaluated by a questionnaire with open- and closed-ended questions. It was found that 45.3% of participants had a broad concept of a healthy diet, while few knew its specific contents. Furthermore, 75.3% of participants could explain the term functional food, and among them, 62.1% knew the appropriate definition of functional food. Participants who perceived their health very good and excellent were more likely to believe that their health status was determined by their own control. The consumption rate of functional food varied among regions and South and Central America students had the highest usage rate (44.5%) and Asian students had the highest daily usage rate (52.7%). Participants who were younger, single, from African and South and Central American countries, or who were in Ireland for less than one year were more likely to report dietary change after immigration. In conclusion, insufficient knowledge and self-perception towards diet and health as well as unhealthily dietary changes exist among international students living in Dublin

    Discriminative and robust zero-watermarking scheme based on completed local binary pattern for authentication and copyright identification of medical images

    Authentication and copyright identification are two critical security issues for medical images. Although zerowatermarking schemes can provide durable, reliable and distortion-free protection for medical images, the existing zerowatermarking schemes for medical images still face two problems. On one hand, they rarely considered the distinguishability for medical images, which is critical because different medical images are sometimes similar to each other. On the other hand, their robustness against geometric attacks, such as cropping, rotation and flipping, is insufficient. In this study, a novel discriminative and robust zero-watermarking (DRZW) is proposed to address these two problems. In DRZW, content-based features of medical images are first extracted based on completed local binary pattern (CLBP) operator to ensure the distinguishability and robustness, especially against geometric attacks. Then, master shares and ownership shares are generated from the content-based features and watermark according to (2,2) visual cryptography. Finally, the ownership shares are stored for authentication and copyright identification. For queried medical images, their content-based features are extracted and master shares are generated. Their watermarks for authentication and copyright identification are recovered by stacking the generated master shares and stored ownership shares. 200 different medical images of 5 types are collected as the testing data and our experimental results demonstrate that DRZW ensures both the accuracy and reliability of authentication and copyright identification. When fixing the false positive rate to 1.00%, the average value of false negative rates by using DRZW is only 1.75% under 20 common attacks with different parameters

    2.8–1.7 Ga history of the Jiao-Liao-Ji Belt of the North China Craton from the geochronology and geochemistry of mafic Liaohe meta-igneous rocks

    Highlights • Lithospheric mantle stabilization under Jiao-Liao-Ji Belt at 2.8Ga (SmNd isochron) • Liaohe mafic meta-igneous rocks formed in active continental margin subduction zone • Emplacement of Liaohe mafic igneous rocks at ~2.2 Ga (LuHf isochron) • Amphibolite retrograde metamorphism from exhumation at 1824 ± 19 Ma (PbPb isochron) • Cooling of terrane to ~500 °C at 1671 ± 58 Ma (RbSr isochron) Abstract The assembly and long-term evolution of the Eastern Block of the North China Craton are poorly constrained. Here we use bulk rock geochronological and geochemical data from mafic meta-igneous rocks (hornblendites, amphibolites and a metagabbro) of the Liaohe Group to reconstruct the Neoarchean to Paleoproterozoic history of the Jiao-Liao-Ji Belt, located between the Longgang and Nangrim blocks that together form the Eastern Block of the North China Craton. The mafic/ultramafic meta-igneous rocks have intrusive or tectonic contacts with the Liaoji granitic rocks (~2.2–2.0 Ga), which form the basement of the Jiao-Liao-Ji Belt. The major and trace element data indicate that the protoliths had calc-alkaline composition and formed along an active continental margin subduction zone. The mafic rocks form a whole-rock 176Lu/177Hf isochron with an age of 2.25 ± 0.31 Ga, overlapping with UPb zircon ages for mafic and granitic rocks from the Jiao-Liao-Ji Belt and consistent with being the emplacement age of the mafic protoliths along the active continental margin. In contrast, the whole-rock 147Sm/144Nd isochron age of 2.83 ± 0.18 Ga is likely to reflect the average age of the lithospheric mantle source from which the mafic/ultramafic protoliths were extracted. Together with geological evidence, we propose that the southwestern portion of the Longgang Block was an active continental margin since at least the early Paleoproteorozic. Literature age data from metamorphic zircons show that peak granulite metamorphism took place at ~1.96–1.88 Ga, resulting from the collisional event that fused the Longgang and Nangrim blocks into the Eastern Block of the North China Craton. Our bulk-rock 207Pb/206Pb age of 1824 ± 19 Ma and our 87Rb/86Sr age of 1671 ± 58 Ma reflect retrograde (cooling) stages during the exhumation of the Jiao-Liao-Ji Belt after the orogenesis

    Robust output-feedback predictive control for proximity eddy current de-tumbling with constraints and uncertainty

    Proximity operation can significantly improve the efficiency of eddy current de-tumbling. However, the tumbling motion and non-cooperation of space debris make the chaser execute collision avoidance maneuvers and be influenced by model uncertainty. In this paper, an inertial-oriented safety corridor is proposed by taking the debris' angular momentum as the central axis, which can avoid the frequent collision maneuvers of the chaser. Meanwhile, a desired de-tumbling trajectory under this safety corridor is designed to de-tumble the angular velocity of space debris. Then, a robust output-feedback controller considering safety corridor and model uncertainty is proposed by combining moving horizon estimation and model predictive control. The moving horizon estimation is employed to estimate the system state and model uncertainty which is compensated by a feedforward control law. Furthermore, the model predictive control without terminal ingredients is designed to realize the optimal performance of fuel consumption and the robust tracking stability of the system. Finally, taking the Chinese Sinosat-2 satellite as the simulation case, the effectiveness of the proposed scheme is verified
