D-optimal designs formulti-response linear mixed models

Linear mixed models have become popular in many statistical applications duringrecent years. However design issues for multi-response linear mixed models are rarelydiscussed. Themain purpose of this paper is to investigate D-optimal designs formultiresponselinear mixed models. We provide two equivalence theorems to characterizethe optimal designs for the estimation of the fixed effects and the prediction of randomeffects, respectively. Two examples of the D-optimal designs formulti-response linearmixed models are given for illustration

Forward Intensity Model Monitoring Using Multivariate Exponential Weighted Moving Average Scheme

We propose a parameter monitoring method for the forward intensity model – the default probability prediction model of the Credit Research Initiative (CRI). We review the relative statistical process control scheme in the field of engineering. Based on this, we propose a new Multivariate Exponential Weighted Moving Average (MEWMA) scheme to monitor the forward intensity model monthly. This new chart might be applied to identify and diagnose the out-of-control (OC) parameters in real time as the data updating, which reduces the cost of recalculating all parameters and improve the operational and calculational efficiency of the default prediction models in practical application

Clinical observation of treatment of fungal corneal ulcer with application of iodine tincture and fluconazole

AIM: To explore the effect of 30g/L iodine rubbed and debridement of wound together with 2g/L fluconazole in the treatment of fungal corneal ulcers. <p>METHODS: Fifty fungal keratitis cases(50 eyes)diagnosed by corneal smear examination were cleaned locally, iodine blanch. All patients were given 2g/L fluconazole for systemic treatment, treated eye with 2g/L fluconazole eye-drops and loxacin eye-drops, and 30g/L atropine eye ointment dilate the pupils.<p>RESULTS:Fifty cases(50 eyes)were selected, of which, 40 cases were healed, 8 cases were improved and 2 cases were aggravated with operation being given.<p>CONCLUSION:After early and timely diagnosis of fungal keratitis, local debridement, 30g/L iodine rubbed the wound and joint with systemic and local treatment of fluconazole can achieve good effect
