USINAS DE BIODIESEL E FALHAS NO MERCADO DE LEILÕES

O trabalho tem por objetivo descrever e analisar as falhas de mercado no sistema de produção agroindustrial do biodiesel constituído por todos os participantes envolvidos na produção da matéria-prima agrícola, no processamento e na distribuição do produto. Incluem o suprimento dos produtores de matéria-prima, os produtores de matérias-primas, operações de estocagens, processamento, atacado e varejo. Incluem as instituições que afetam e coordenam os estágios sucessivos do fluxo do produto, tais como governo, associações e mercado de leilões. As relações contratuais são apontadas como importantes mecanismos de coordenação nos sistemas de mercadorias. No caso do sistema de produção do biodiesel brasileiro, o mecanismo de coordenação observado é o mercado de leilões, que estabelece a quase-integração mediante contratos entre as usinas e os distribuidores. O mercado de leilões de biodiesel é o mercado em que os produtos das usinas são vendidos e comprados por meio de processos formais de licitação. Esse mecanismo de coordenação tem apresentado as mesmas características dos mercados com problemas de informações assimétricas. Nessa situação, o comprador e o vendedor possuem informações diferentes sobre uma transação. Tendo como conseqüência a ineficiência de mercado. Uma forma de falha de mercado decorrente de informações assimétricas observado no mercado de leilões de biodiesel tem sido a seleção adversa e o risco moral. Isto significa que contratos que foram firmados com usinas de biodiesel que participaram de processos de licitações não estão sendo honrados de forma generalizada.--------------------------------------------------The present study aims at describing and analyzing the biodiesel agroindustrial productive chain built up with all components involved in the production, processing and the good marketing. It includes the supplying of the raw-material producers, stocking operations, processing system, the whole and retail market of the product. Institutions that affect and coordinate the successive stages of the product flow such as government, associations and the auctions market are also included. Contractual relations are referred to important coordination structures in the commodity system. In the particular case of the Brazilian biodiesel, the structure of coordination that is observed is the auctions market. Auctions are that marketplace in which the products are bought and sold through formal processes of licitation. Such mechanism presents the same characteristics of the markets with unequal information. In such situation, the buyer and the seller have different information about a transaction; as a result, there is a deviation in the market efficiency level. A kind of a market failure which results from unequal information seen in the auctions market has been the adverse selection. DESENVOLVIMENTO DE CADEIAS DE PRODUÇÃO LOCAIS E SUA INTER-RELAÇÃO COM A ECONOMIA GLOBAL: O CASO DA BANANA NO ESTADO DO RIO DE JANEIRO

Um dos pontos importantes que devem ser atendidos por políticas públicas é como integrar o relacionamento de um determinado setor com a economia global, sendo que a questão a ser resolvida é sobre como gerar possibilidades para que o empresário local possa competir em um ambiente globalizado. A integração com o mercado globalizado é uma realidade para todas as cadeias produtivas dos países em desenvolvimento. Mesmo que não haja uma integração formal, as cadeias produtivas vêm, no mínimo sofrendo a concorrência das redes varejistas que constantemente oferecem produtos novos com origens diversas, dentro ou fora do país. Este estudo visa apresentar uma análise da cadeia produtiva da banana no Estado do Rio de Janeiro e sua interação com as cadeias produtivas globais. É importante que o ambiente de análise se estenda às redes globais de produção e distribuição, como forma de avaliar o impacto que uma determinada região produtiva sofre na competitividade dos seus produtos. Perfil Profissional, Obrigações Jurídicas E Condutas Dos Ortodontistas Frente à Prevenção De Litígios

Orthodontic treatment requires ethical and legal attitudes from professionals since the first contact with the patient. Thus, this study assessed professional profile, legal obligations in provision of care, and the conduct of orthodontists in terms of litigation prevention during their professional practice. Questionnaires were emailed to 1653 Brazilian orthodontists, asking for information such as: age, gender, graduate orthodontic education, time of work in orthodontics, place of graduate education, time since graduation, and information regarding the legal criteria involved in the orthodontic treatment. Data were tabulated using absolute and relative frequencies. The chi-square test (p<0.05) was used to verify the association among nominal qualitative variables. Only 163 orthodontists participated in the study, wherein men represented 60.5% and women 39.5% of the sample. It was clear that professionals most recently graduated are the ones that mostly use the care provision contract, and the ones that mostly request teleradiographs. The female gender offered more treatment options, clarified the estimated treatment time more often, and was less involved in legal issues. On the other hand, the male gender requested cephalometry more often. Most professionals request the control radiograph, and all of them file the medical records of patients. Few professionals use the professional liability insurance. The results of the present study indicate a highly heterogeneous professional profile. The female gender dominates the field of expertise, and they seem to be more careful regarding legal obligations.32382983

DIAGNÓSTICO SÓCIO-ECONÔMICO E IMPLANTAÇÃO DE ARRANJO PRODUTIVO LOCAL (APL) DA BANANA ORGÂNICA NO RIO DE JANEIRO

O agronegócio do Leite desempenha um papel importante dentro do setor agropecuário; todavia, tem sofrido os efeitos das diversas políticas macroeconômicas e setoriais. De forma semelhante, o agronegócio do leite tem relevância para o estado de Rondônia. A característica da produção no Estado está centrada na monocultura familiar de baixa produtividade, donde é possível inferir que os riscos de produção são elevados. Isto posto, esse trabalho teve a finalidade mensurar o quão arriscado é a atividade de uma propriedade rural. Os resultados indicaram que os riscos são de fato bastante elevados; todavia, identificou-se que o fator gerencial é importante para os riscos permaneçam altos, ou seja, decisões gerenciais são capazes alterar esse quadro como elevar retornos e/ou reduzir riscos, através de investimentos em equipamentos ou produção de outras culturas na propriedade.--------------------------------------------The Milk agribusiness plays an important role in the agricultural sector, however, has suffered various macroeconomic and sectoral policies effects. The characteristic of production inside the state is focused on low productivity monoculture family, and it is possible to infer that the production risks are high. This study had the objective measure risky level in a milk farm. The results indicated that the risks are indeed high, but was identified as well that the managerial factor is important for the risks remain high. The incidence of innovation in corporate social responsibility in the companies of the electrical sector

Em um cenário de crise econômica é comum que empresas diminuam o volume das atividades sociais e de inovação. As empresas do setor elétrico são a base para as indústrias de um país, fazendo com que este setor seja um dos mais importantes. Portanto, torna-se relevante investigar se as empresas do setor elétrico realizam inovação, atividades de Responsabilidade Social Corporativa (RSC), e ações de RSC que podem ser consideradas como inovação. O Objetivo deste estudo foi descrever as ações e inovações em RSC que mais importam para as empresas do setor elétrico presentes no Índice de Sustentabilidade Empresarial (ISE) da BM&F Bovespa. Realizou-se levantamento documental composto pelos relatórios da administração e de sustentabilidade, dos anos de 2013 até 2015, das 10 empresas listadas no ISE no ano de 2015. A respeito das atividades de RSC, pode-se inferir que promover atividades de arte, cultura, cidadania, qualidade de vida e geração de renda para jovens e adultos, possuir programas de capacitação profissional inclusiva e programas de voluntariado, importam para as empresas pesquisadas. Acerca da relação entre inovação e RSC, pode-se inferir que a implementação de inovações que provocaram melhoria das ações sociais, e a elaboração de projetos de inovação importam para as empresas, em detrimento dos demais itens pesquisados. Sugere-se que as ações de inovação e de RSC estão voltadas prioritariamente para o desenvolvimento do indivíduo e da interação com a sociedade em que está inserido, e isso pode proporcionar uma imagem favorável da empresa para a sociedade.In a scenario of economic crisis it is common for companies to reduce the volume of social activities and innovation. Companies in the electricity sector are the basis for a country’s industries, making this sector one of the most important. Therefore, it is relevant to investigate whether companies in the electricity sector perform innovation, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities, and CSR actions that can be considered as innovation. The objective of this study was to describe the CSR actions and innovations that matter most to the electric sector companies present in the BM&F Bovespa Corporate Sustainability Index (ISE). A documentary survey was carried out, consisting of the management and sustainability reports, from the years 2013 to 2015, of the 10 companies listed in the ISE in the year 2015. Regarding CSR activities, it can be inferred that promoting art, culture, citizenship, quality of life and generation of income for young people and adults, have programs of inclusive professional training and volunteer programs, matter to the companies surveyed. Regarding the relationship between innovation and CSR, it can be inferred that the implementation of innovations that led to the improvement of social actions, and the elaboration of innovation projects matter to companies, to the detriment of the other researched items. It is suggested that the actions of innovation and CSR are focused primarily on the development of the individual and the interaction with the society in which it is inserted, and this can provide a favorable image of the company for society

O uso de jogo digital educacional como instrumento didático no processo de ensino-aprendizagem da língua portuguesa e matemática / The use of an educational digital game as a didactic instrument in the teaching-learning process of portuguese language and mathematics

O presente estudo demonstra as etapas de inserção da tecnologia, utilizando jogos digitais com foco em Língua Portuguesa e Matemática, através do subprojeto PIBID (Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação à Docência) na Escola Estadual Coronel Cruz em Itacoatiara. Embora a criança já nasça em meio à tecnologia, utilizou-se dessa vantagem para o processo de ensino e aprendizagem, onde tivemos como público alvo os alunos de 2º e 5º ano da referida escola, tornando assim essa educação diferenciada das tradicionais. Com o objetivo de obter resultados positivos no ensino e aprendizagem dos alunos, por meio dessas ferramentas tecnológicas, as aulas se tornaram mais interativas e dinamizadas

Maturation biochemistry of uvalia (eugenia pyriformis)

[POR] Objetivou-se neste trabalho avaliar a atividade de algumas enzimas envolvidas no processo de maturação de frutos e do conteúdo de açúcares e pectina em frutos de uvalha em 4 diferentes estádios de maturação (10, 20, 30 e 40 dias após a antese), coletados em Lavras- MG. Foram quantificadas na polpa as atividades das enzimas polifenoloxidase, poligalacturonase, pectinametilesterase e peroxidases em cada estádio de maturação dos frutos e os conteúdos de açúcares solúveis, redutores e pectina solúvel e total. Verifica-se uma variação em todos as características analisadas, com um aumento na atividade de todas as enzimas até o penúltimo estádio, sendo que normalmente aos 40 dias após a antese esses valores foram reduzidos. Verifica-se um aumento no conteúdo de açúcares solúveis e redutores em todos os estádios, enquanto a pectina total e solúvel apresentou uma variação semelhante à observada para as enzimas. [ENG] It was intended in this work to evaluate the activity of some enzymes involved in the maturation process of fruits and of the content of sugars and pectin of the uvalha in 4 different maturation stages (10, 20, 30, and 40 days after anthesis), collected in Lavras-MG. The activities of the enzymes polyphenoloxidase (PPO, EC 1.14.18.1.), polygalacturonase (PG, EC 1.2.1.15) pectinmethylesterase (PME, EC 3.1.1.11) and peroxidases (POD, EC 1.1 1.1.7) in each maturation stage of the fruits and the contents of soluble, reducing sugars, soluble and total pectin were quantified in the pulp. A variation was found in all the characteristics investigated, with an increase in the activity of all the enzymes to the penultimate stage, its being normally at 40 days after anthesis, those values were reduced. An increase was verified in the content of soluble and reducing sugars in every stage, whereas total and soluble pectin showed a variation similar to that observed for the enzymes
