The Involvement of Nano-Drug Delivery in Biosafety Issues

Nanotechnology encompasses a broad conjunct of techniques aimed to engineer, characterize and make use of structures of 1 (nanoplates), 2 (nanotubes) or 3 dimensions (nanoparticles) in the nanoscale, known as nano-objects. The upper limit of the nanoscale was fixed at 100 nm [1], but in the nanopharmaceutical field the nano-scale is accepted to rise up to 200-300 nm. Biosynthesized molecules (such as hormones, proteins, nucleic acids) and drugs, whose activity depends on a primary structure and not on new phenomena derived from its size in the nano-scale, do not fit into the definition of nano-object [2]. Also the lower limit of the nanoscale was fixed in 1 nm in order to exclude atoms [2]. Beyond these constraints, there is no restriction in chemical nature of nano-objects. Today, the global market of nanotechnological consumer product is gained by non biodegradable and mostly nondispersive nano-objects. This is underscored by the raise from 212 to 1317 products (nearly 521%) between 2006 and 2011 [3]. On the other hand, Nanomedicine is the emerging discipline that employs nanoobjects as tools to solve medical problems [4,5]. The volume market of Nanomedicine is expected to exceed $160 billion by 2015, according to a business report recently launched by the Global Industry Analysts Inc [6]. The main technological platform of Nanomedicine is nano-drug delivery, accounting for 78 % global sales and 58 % of patent filling worldwide [7,8] followed by development of nano-objects for in vitro/in vivo diagnosis [9] and tissue engineering [10]. LinkedTV News: designing a second screen companion for web-enriched news broadcasts

LinkedTV (linkedtv.eu) is a European research project that explores how to integrate television content with Web content in meaningful ways through the use of semantic relations for automatically generating links. This report describes the process of design and evaluation of LinkedTV News, a second screen companion for interacting with hyperlinked television in the domain of newscasts. Our primary goal was to obtain knowledge about potential users of LinkedTV’s technology regarding their information needs and an indication of the reception that this technology could have among them. We performed two initial studies: a focus group and a series of interviews with 19 participants. These allowed us to identify our target group, context of use and requirements with which we created the concept of the application. The design of the application was refined through a series of design iterations and a hi-fi prototype was produced. After creating the LinkedTV News prototype, we evaluated it with a task-based study performed with 8 participants of the initial studies who matched the target profile closely. The main characteristics of LinkedTV News are: • It runs on a tablet PC. • It targets users between 25 and 45 years of age; highly-educated; who like to be up to date about the international news; watch news broadcasts regularly; and own a tablet computer or share it with someone in their household. • It proposes the integration of two activities that are related by subject, but currently often take place through different devices and at different times namely, watching TV newscasts and consulting online newspapers and videos. • It allows synchronous as well as asynchronous interaction with the television (interacting with the application while watching TV as well as bookmarking news and postponing their in depth exploration). • It offers two interaction modes represented by two main screens: lean back and lean forward. • The lean back mode presents condensed information related to the objects, places, persons, and events in the news continuously in the form of slides (a paragraph of text illustrated by an image). This mode is automatic and requires no user interaction, although interaction is possible if desired. • The lean forward mode enables in-depth exploration of each news headline in the categories: different sources; opinions of different authors; in-depth articles; timeline; and from the point of view of geo-localized tweets. We showed that LinkedTV News succeeds in fulfilling many of the user needs and requirements identified in the preliminary studies. Overall, there seems to be interest from users in a hypermedia solution for the news that integrates online newspapers and video with television broadcasts. The hi-fi prototype served as a tool for illustrating and sharing a future vision of hyperlinked broadcast news within and outside the LinkedTV project group. We recommend testing the application with a different and larger group of users. If the study proves successful, we recommend considering the production of a service represented by LinkedTV News as a commercial application of the LinkedTV technology

PROYECTO DE INVERSIÓN “MARISQUERIA EL ZAMAT”

El presente trabajo de investigación tiene por objetivo analizar la factibilidad de un proyecto de inversión, con la finalidad de demostrar si es aceptado y posible, la creación de una microempresa, representado por una marisquería “El Zamat”, en el Centro de Toluca de lerdo, Estado de México. La tesis contiene tres capítulos: El primero capítulo menciona el marco teórico, donde se citan conceptos de Administración y su Proceso Administrativo, así como de Proyecto de Inversión y de Empresa, los cuales se mostrara desde definiciones de autores y nuestra propia definición. El segundo capítulo desarrolla la Investigación de Mercado y el Plan de Marketing: Estudio de Mercado, Estudio Técnico, Estudio Administrativo y el Estudio Económico-Financiero, donde se dará a conocer los resultados obtenidos y se definirá si es viable o no nuestro proyecto. Y por último en el tercer capítulo encontraremos el diagnóstico del entorno y el caso práctico, tal como la misión, visión, objetivos, valores, anexos, bibliografía y las conclusiones donde se mencionara el análisis detallado a la rentabilidad y viabilidad del proyecto. Este proyecto se pretende que sea familiar, dándonos una oportunidad de crecimiento con nuestro propio negocio, desarrollando nuestras habilidades y principalmente hacer lo que nos gusta, ya que para ser excelente trabajador nos tiene que gustar lo que hacemos

Importancia de la evaluación y algunos instrumentos para evaluar

La evaluación permite determinar cómo aprenden los estudiantes, qué aprenden y qué conocimientos requeridos tienen. También sirve para promover un aprendizaje significativo. Se puede evaluar procesos de pensamiento, estrategias de resolución de problemas, uso de materiales y recursos, comunicación oral y escrita, actitudes, entre otras cosas. Permite que el docente pueda mejorar el proceso de enseñanza, evaluar las tareas que propone y su actuación. La evaluación se puede realizar a través de diferentes instrumentos: prueba diagnóstica, diario del docente, rubricas, diario del estudiante y exámenes

Toll like receptors agonists-based nanomedicines as veterinary immunotherapies

Many infections affecting animals enter across mucosa, needing of secretory immunity to reject the disease; protection against some pathogens must be early, fast, and specifically elicited, while from others must be wide enough to fight against variable serotypes. Today, however, most veterinary vac-cines are injectable (not recommended for chicken and small fishes), aimed to control clinical signs instead of eradicating the disease and poor inducers of secretory immunity. These drawbacks are com-pensated by vaccination with live attenuated agents, by using potentially toxic oily adjuvants and with indiscriminate use of antibiotics. In this review, the benefits of commercial and experimental nanomed-icines acting as immunostimulants and vaccine adjuvants made of toll-like receptor (TLR) agonistsloaded in nanoparticles (NP-TLR agonists), arepresented. Np-TLR agonists induce a magnified, site-limited triggering of innate immunity; also allow modifying the administration route from injectable to mucosal or nebulized, provide structural protection to TLR agonists and avoid their diffusion far from the administration site. Plan de estudios y satisfacción en estudiantes de educación de la Universidad San Pedro Trujillo

El estudio se efectúa con un principal objetivo, señalar el vínculo entre el Plan de estudios con la Satisfacción en estudiantes de Educación de la Universidad San Pedro de Trujillo, en todo su contexto de enseñanza-aprendizaje. De la metodología: El tipo de investigación es básica y diseño descriptivo - correlacional con método de estudio cuantitativo, con una muestra de 48 estudiantes tomados de las escuelas de inicial y primaria entre ambos sexos de diferentes turnos. Se aplicó el instrumento de un cuestionario con diez dimensiones, para determinar la satisfacción en estudiantes de Gento y Vivas y otro instrumento para el plan de estudios validado por juicio de expertos, el desarrollo de los resultados fue a través del programa SPSS estadística con frecuencia y porcentajes acumulados. Finalmente, en los resultados mencionados refleja que de las 10 dimensiones: 5 satisfechos, 4 poco satisfechos y 1 se encuentra totalmente insatisfecho, lo que demuestra que existe relación positiva entre el Plan de estudios con la Satisfacción de los estudiantes de la facultad de educación de la universidad San Pedro de Trujillo-2017.Tesi
