Analysis of the Causes of Defects due to Quality Roofing Membranes Mechanical Anchoring

    Get PDF
Anchoring of the layers of flat warm roofs using anchoring elements is nowadays one of the most used technology. This is a frequent technology to repair damaged roofs (total reconstruction, increasing the load on the wind loads, partial repairs etc.). In the European building market there are several suppliers of the enchoring equipment who declare their product's properties in the european technical approvements (ETA). The goal of the article is to demonstrate results of the carried out measurements and their possible impact into practical application of the mechanically anchored systems. This allows reduce the amount of defects to improving flexible watertight membranes. The topic can be considered actual and due to the large number of defects precisely for these types of roofs

This thesis deals with problems of the use of a social network Facebook, it compares virtual and real identity of its users and it finds out the preferences that lead the users to prefer this social network to another types of the Internet communication. Empirical quantitativ research was aimed at regular long term users of the social network Facebook. The results of research show that Facebook respondents prefer the possibility of the combination of communication, photographic documentation and a use of aplications. The thesis conclusion is the author´s theory that the social network has become an international phenomenon based on break up of an anonymous environment of the Internet. The Facebook users can combine either the possibilities of the Internet or a personal communication.Katedra sociálních vědDokončená práce s úspěšnou obhajobo

The Optimization of Structural Details for Flat Single-leaf Roofs

    No full text
This thesis deals with the optimization of structural details for flat single-leaf roofs. In the first part of the thesis, 3 groups of structural details for flat roof (flat roof parapet, gutter at flat roof without overhang of the roof cladding, intersection of the flat roof and vertical supporting structure) are characterized, classified and examined. In every group one of these structural details is designed with use of modern composite material based on secondary raw materials (still in development process). The theory describes the current issue of thermal bridges at constructions and applicable legislative documents. The next part introduces thermal engineering analysis (based on finite element method) of structures with annotated data outputs. The another main part of thesis provides with designed innovative optimization algorithm using multi-criteria decision analysis methods, which is then practically tested on the surveyed construction details. The conclusion summarizes the results and provides with improvements based on completed research
