Grid-Oscillator Beam-Steering Array
Recently Liao and York (see IEEE Trans. Microwave Theory Tech., vol.41, no.10, p.1810, 1993) showed that beam-steering can be achieved by detuning the end elements of a coupled-oscillator array. The advantage of this approach is that no phase shifters are required. Liao and York used a single line array of patch antennas. Here we report the results for a pair of 1Ă4 HEMT line-grid oscillators at 11 GHz. This array can scan from -6.5° to +5° by changing the bia

There are two basic ways for a New Zealand company (or other business organisation) to do business in China. One is to enter into contracts with business partners in China to purchase and/or export your products and services to China. The other is to set up in China a business establishment, either a company or a liaison office, to deal or assist with the business
Doing business in China: Special rules on setting up trading companies in China
In general, an overseas company may set up a company in China as a wholly foreign-owned enterprise, an equity joint venture, or a contractual joint venture. The three basic statutes on foreign-invested enterprises, namely, the Law on Wholly Foreign-invested Enterprises 1986, the Law on Sino-Foreign Equity Joint Ventures 1979, and the Sino-Foreign Contractual Joint Ventures Law (1988), provide for the general requirements and set-up procedures. However, if the company is to be set up for trading (rather than processing or manufacturing) activities, its setting up must also comply with some special rules
