A Hybrid Paradigm for Modeling, Simulation and Analysis of Brand Virality in Social Media
Enhancing brand awareness through online social networks is increasingly pivotal to business success. This paper is concerned with a hybrid paradigm for modeling, simulation and analysis of brand virality in social media. In particular, mathematical models and graphical animation are proposed and formulated to represent the spread and viral process of a brand over social Web and mobile networks. Simulation prototype are also created to illustrate relevant ideas and concepts. Furthermore, a fuzzy logic-based framework is developed to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of brand virality. Our work provides a solid foundation for further investigation in this field
A mathematical, computational and symbolic representation framework towards digital marketing planning
The digital marketing strategy formulation problem is examined using a hybrid mathematical, computational, and fuzzy knowledge automation approach. The framework is introduced, developed and tested by the first and second-named authors as a new solution for conducting strategic analysis, producing digital marketing strategy alternatives, and making strategic choices. A Web-based software example is provided to demonstrate how the framework functions with evaluation results highlighting how the process and outcomes of digital marketing strategy formulation may be enhanced
Fast transition between Classical and Weak lined T Tauri stars due to external UV dissipation
The discovery of optical jets immersed in the strong UV radiation field of
the Rosette Nebula sheds new light on, but meanwhile poses challenges to, the
study of externally irradiated jets. The jet systems in the Rosette are found
to have a high state of ionization and show unique features. In this paper, we
investigate the evolutionary status of the jet driving sources for young
solar-like stars. To our surprise, these jet sources indicate unexpected near
infrared properties with no excess emission. They are bathed in harsh external
UV radiation such that evaporation leads to a fast dissipation of their
circumstellar material. This could represent a transient phase of evolution of
young solar-like stars between classical and weak lined T Tauri stars. Naked T
Tauri stars formed in this way have indistinguishable evolutionary ages from
those of classical T Tauri stars resulting from the same episode of star
formation. However, it would be hard for such sources to be identified if they
are not driving an irradiated jet in a photoionized medium.Comment: 3 figure
Bound magnetic polaron driven low-temperature ferromagnetism in Cu1−xMnxO compounds
AbstractPartial Mn atoms have been confirmed to enter the CuO lattice and form the Cu1−xMnxO compounds in the case of doping with 0≤x≤0.2 by the sol–gel method. With increasing Mn content, magnetism is observed. The magnetic critical transition temperature increases with enhanced magnetism, which obeys the bound magnetic polaron theory. The electronic transportation shows an insulating behavior as the band-gap decreases. Our results may indicate that CuO may be used as a candidate of magnetic semiconductor
Correlating low energy impact damage with changes in modal parameters: a preliminary study on composite beams
This paper is an experimental study of the effects of multi-site damage on the vibration response of a composite beam damaged by low energy impact. The variation of the modal parameters with different levels of impact energy and density of impact is studied. Specimens are impacted symmetrically in order to induce a global rate of damage. A damage detection tool Damage Index is introduced in order to verify the estimation of damping ratios. Design of Experiments is used to establish the sensitivity of both energy of impact and density of damage. The DOE analysis results (using natural frequency only) indicate that impact energy for 2nd, 3rd and 4th bending modes is the most significant factor contributing to the changes in the modal parameters for this kind of symmetrical dynamic test
