Quality survey integrated into a virtual assistant

This disclosure describes techniques for a virtual assistant to conduct surveys for the quality of responses provided by the virtual assistant to user queries and commands. For screen-free devices, e.g., smart speakers, the surveys are conducted via voice. For devices with a screen, e.g., smartphones, a screen overlay including a survey is displayed, along with a menu of responses. For queries that do not have a clear termination point, surveys are provided via notifications. Surveys are presented in a throttled manner such that a typical user does not get more than one survey question within a certain period. User responses to surveys are utilized to generate a dashboard that provides a visualization of quality ratings and enables the prioritization of features that require optimization

Income diversification and profit efficiency of Chinese banks

This paper examines the impact of income diversification on profit efficiency of banks by using a sample of 112 commercial banks from China during the period of 2015-2020. This paper used a modified Herfindahl-Hirschman Index (HHI) to examine bank’s income diversification and the stochastic frontier approach (SFA) is used to measure profit efficiency. Then the relationship between diversification and bank efficiency is examined by fixed-effects panel regressions. The results indicate that Chinese banks with more income diversification are associated with lower profit efficiency

Corporate social responsibility and environmental sustainability: achieving firms sustainable performance supported by plant capability

In the contemporary industrial setting, corporations face direct and indirect pressures from multiple intrinsic and extrinsic environmental constituents, including competitive entities and resource limitations, hindering their continuity and sustainability. Against this backdrop, Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is an industrial dynamic that enables firms to address the pressures imposed by these environmental constituents. Therefore, this study examines the impact of CSR on firm’s sustainable performance conditioned at different plant sizes. In doing so, the data was collected using a survey instrument comprising close-ended items with five-point likert scales on each item for measuring managerial perceptions from manufacturing industries. Through non-probabilistic sampling, a sample of 399 responses from middle to top-level management was collected. Smart PLS was utilized to analyze the data for validating the hypothesized relationships between the latent constructs. To enhance the reliability of the tests used for the analysis, bootstrapping was used to iterate the sample size and refine significance levels. Overall findings indicate that environmental sustainable development is essential to explain the relationship between ‘CSR for consumer’ and ‘Firm sustainable performance’. The relationship between ‘CSR to employees’ and ‘Firm sustainable performance’ is significant both with and without the explanatory role of sustainable environmental performance. The link between CSR to community and firm sustainable performance is not being explained by environmental sustainable development. These results offer valuable policy recommendations

A MODEL OF FUZZY TOPOLOGICAL RELATIONS FOR SIMPLE SPATIAL OBJECTS IN GIS

The goal of this paper is to present a new model of fuzzy topological relations for simple spatial objects in Geographic Information Sciences (GIS). The concept of computational fuzzy topological space is applied to simple fuzzy objects to efficiently and more accurately solve fuzzy topological relations, extending and improving upon previous research in this area. Firstly, we propose a new definition for simple fuzzy line segments and simple fuzzy regions based on computational fuzzy topology. And then, we also propose a new model to compute fuzzy topological relations between simple spatial objects, an analysis of the new model exposes:(1) the topological relations of two simple crisp objects; (2) the topological relations between one simple crisp object and one simple fuzzy object; (3) the topological relations between two simple fuzzy objects. In the end, we have discussed some examples to demonstrate the validity of the new model, through an experiment and comparisons of existing models, we showed that the proposed method can make finer distinctions, as it is more expressive than the existing fuzzy models

Focusing on the value of cooperative learning in physical education: a bibliometric analysis

The shift toward cooperative learning has highlighted the growing advantages of individual learning modes during the transition. Nevertheless, a systematic compilation of the precise classification and developmental dynamics of cooperative learning in PE has been absent. This study aimed to organize the existing progress and significance of collaborative learning. The study entailed a meticulous systematic review process, examining 169 articles in this domain with the aid of visualization software. The results of the study indicate that the overall use of cooperative learning in physical education is on the rise and will reach its highest level in 2021; Second, the keywords, major core scholars, journals, countries, and major research topics; the visual knowledge map reveals the major research topics of intrinsic motivation, cooperative learning, motor skills, self-learning, written expression, and pedagogical models. The research primarily centers on primary and secondary education, followed by teacher training and higher education. At the primary and secondary school levels, there is a specific focus on aspects such as motivation, teacher-student relationships, and the group atmosphere. This research also explores sustainable development and training for PE teachers, model integration, and its influence on students’ intrinsic motivation; and finally, the future directions of cooperative learning in PEare summarized. This study provides meaningful and valuable information on how cooperative learning models can be used and developed in various teaching and learning environments, physical education teacher education, and overall student development
