    The Application of Problem Posing Learning Theme Integrated Botany in State Senior-high-school Grade XI

    Problem posing learning model was a learning model that assign students to made questions about the material being taught which must then be solved by students either individually or in groups. Reformulate the problem or application problem is one way to make progress in solving the problem. Learn to ask very important in the educational process. Students can not have learned before asked himself, and then answer the question. It is a reflection of the problem posing learning model. Students will got direct experience by doing activities related to the integrated botanical material. This learning model aims to achieve competency in accordance with theme integrated botany in the structure and function of plant tissue is taught. This type of research was a pre-experimental research The method used was the “One Group Pre-test – Post-test” with subjects 26 students class XI Science 1 SMAN 1 Gresik Manyar. The analysis was conducted in descriptive quantitative. Cognitive learning outcomes students, 88.47% of students have completed the classical.     Novel Edensor adalah salah satu novel karya Andrea Hirata yang merupakan potretlatar belakang pendidikan di Indonesia. Dalam novel ini Andrea Hirata melukiskanperjuangan dan kerja keras, serta pengalaman lahir batin tokoh Ikal dan Arai ketika tinggal diSorbonne, Prancis. Berbagai konflik terjadi dalam novel ini, konflik-konflik tersebutmenimbulkan aspek moralitas yang menjadi pesan dalam novel ini.     The Empowerment of Households Towards Independence Through Social Capital in Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH)

    This research aims to reveal 1) The Role of Program Keluarga Harapan or known as PKH (Family of Hope Program) in empowering beneficiary households or known as KPM (Keluarga Penerima Manfaat), 2) The Role of Social Capital in realizing the independence of KPM-PKH in Sukoharjo district, Central Java Province, Indonesia. This research was qualitative by using a case study approach. The determination of informants used a purposive sampling technique. The informants were eight beneficiary households and four key informants they were the Head of Sukoharjo district office of the Ministry of Social Services, coordinator of Sukoharjo district, PKH supervisor, PKH facilitator, and two key informants to support any information. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed into three stages; data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The data were verified by observation and source triangulation and time. The result showed that 1) The Role of PKH in empowering the beneficiary households by providing social assistance, strengthening by the regular meeting of Family Development Session, known as P2K2 (Pertemuan Peningkatan Kemampuan Keluarga), strengthening by PKH cooperative, and joint business group, known as KUBE (Kelompok Usaha Bersama), 2) The Role of social capital to build independence of KPM-PKH by adopting cultural values, trust, reciprocity, participation, communication system, and venture networks of beneficiary households. This is caused by the relevance of social bonding, social bridging and social linking carried out by KPM-PKH. To conclude, livelihoods choice of KPM-PKH by employing social capital becomes strategic and productive opportunities to empower independence among poor households as beneficiary of PKH

    The Relation Between Working Time of A Mother with the Success of Exclusive Breastfeeding in Bergas Lor Village, Bourgas District

    The Government has determined exclusive breastfeeding from birth to six months but some women are not exclusively breastfeeding baby until six months of age. The time for work outside home takes up to more than eight hours is one of many factors that cause the mother didn’t give exclusive breastfeeding. The goal of this study is to examine the relation between the working time of mother with the success of exclusive breastfeeding in Bergas Lor village, Bourgas district. The design of this research used correlative study with cross-sectional approach. The samples were all working mothers who have children from 7 to 12 months in February 2013 and 43 mothers became samples by using purposive sampling, and data collecting used questionnaires. The data analysis used Chi-Square test. The result showed from 43 surveyed respondents,28 mothers (65.1%) worked more than 8 hours/day, and 30 mothers (69.8%) didn’t get successful to give exclusive breastfeeding. The conclusion of the Chi-Square test based on Yates’ Continuity Correction gets X2value 4.268 with p-value 0.039. Because of p-value < α (0.05), Null Hypothesis was rejected and concluded that there was a relation between the working time of mother with the success of exclusive breastfeeding. Mothers should breastfeed their babies exclusively from childbirth until six months by using the facilities of the breastfeeding room or by storing her breast milk in the refrigerator before going to work.     A scientific journal is needed as a medium in publishing the research findings which can be beneffited not only as an information to increase the knowledge but also as a reference for future researchers. The quality of the scientific journal, therefore, should be guaranteed from certain aspects such as the content, language, style, and periode . This evaluation research aimed at measing the quality of scientific journal published by The School of Education, State University of Jakarta, titled Jurnal Perspektif Ilmu Pendidikan based on the standards formulated by LIPI. The evaluation used quantitative approach and took place in The School of Education, State University of Jakarta, Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Tempat penelitian yaitu di Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas. The evaluation, conducted as from April through October 2009, covered all publications of 2006 - 2009. The result of the evaluation showed a number of requirements in puplising a scientific journlal based on LIPI standards, have not fulfilled, To be accredited as a scientific journal, this evaluation pointed out some steps to be taken by the editorial board of Jurnal Perspektif Ilmu Pendidikan

    This study uses 3 variables of internal communication, work motivation and employee performance. In internal communication variables have 5 dimensions of downward communication, upward communication, horizontal communication, diagonal communication, and informal communication process. In the variable of work motivation have 3 dimension that is motive, expectation, and incentive. In the variable Employee Performance has 3 dimensions of quantity, quality, and timeliness. Objects in this study are employees of PT. Riau Media Television (Rtv) Pekanbaru which amounted to 63 employees. The analysis used in this research is Validity Test, Reliability Test, Simple Linear Regression, Multiple Linear Regression, Determination Test (R2), Individual Significant Test (t test) and Significant Test (F test).The results showed the Influence of Internal Communication And Work Motivation Against Employee Performance. The better Internal Communication that occurs within the organization and employee work motivation in the company is increasing, the better level of Employee Performance in the company. So also with the motivation of work, the more we motivate employees the better the performance of the company. Results Data from the results of further questionnaires processed and tested with statistics through the help of SPSS program. The calculation results are known R Square is the coefficient of determination. And obtained R Square value of 0.350. The meaning is that the contribution of the variable of Internal Communication, Work Motivation to Employee Performance variable is 35.00%

    POGIL-Based Learning Tools to Improve Critical Thinking Skills and Self-Efficacy on Salt Hydrolysis Material

    To carry out a learning process that can improve students' skills, appropriate chemistry learning tools are needed. This research aims to determine the characteristics and feasibility of POGIL-based learning tools, analyzing students' critical thinking abilities and self-efficacy before and after using POGIL-based learning tools. The research method used 4-D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The subjects were 11th grade science student. Design were used pretest-posttest control group design. Learning tools developed are valid with a percentage of 93.7% in the construction aspect, 90% in the content aspect, and 100% in the language aspect. There was an increase in students' critical thinking skills and self-efficacy after using POGIL-based learning tools with the percentage of students' effective contribution in critical thinking skills being 30.5% and to self-efficacy 69.2% (both showed high contribute). This indicates that POGIL-based learning tools are feasible to improve students' critical thinking skills and self-efficacy

    Hubungan Antara Konformitas Dengan Motivasi Belajar Pada Siswa Di SMA Muhammadiyah Kudus

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara konformitas dengan motivasi belajar pada siswa SMA Muhammadiyah Kudus. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa di SMA Muhammadiyah Kudus sebanyak 294 orang. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 177 orang, sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan dua buah skala psikologi yaitu Skala Motivasi Belajar (40 aitem valid, α = 0,955) dan Skala Konformitas (39 aitem valid, α = 0,941). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan koefisien korelasi rxy 0,495 dengan p = 0,000 (p<0,001). Hasil tersebut menunjukan bahwa hipotesis yang diajukan peneliti yaitu terdapat hubungan positif antara konformitas dengan motivasi belajar dapat diterima. Nilai koefisien korelasi positif menunjukkan bahwa arah hubungan kedua variabel adalah positif, artinya semakin tinggi konformitas maka semakin tinggi motivasi belajar. Konformitas memberikan sumbangan efektif sebesar 24,5% pada motivasi belajar dan sebesar 75,5% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini
