Dél-Alföldi Ifjúságkutatás: életmód, szabadidő, értékorientációk, egészségmagatartás = Youth Study in the Southern Plain: Lifestyle, Leisure Time? Value Orientations, Health Behavior
Rövid összefoglalĂł A DĂ©l-alföldi IfjĂşságkutatás cĂ©lja, hogy bemutassa a rĂ©giĂłban Ă©lĹ‘ fiatalok (N = 2426; 8-21 Ă©vesek) viselkedĂ©sĂ©nek társadalmi-kulturális hátterĂ©t, annak a kornak ismeretĂ©ben, amelyben Ă©lĂĽnk. Az elemzĂ©sek egyrĂ©szt Ă©rintettĂ©k a fiatalok problĂ©maviselkedĂ©sĂ©nek elemeit (depressziĂł, káros szenvedĂ©lyek), valamint a befolyásolĂł, rizikĂł- Ă©s protektĂv tĂ©nyezĹ‘k rendszerĂ©t (Ă©rtĂ©kek, normák, attitűdök, társadalmi helyzet, preventĂv egĂ©szsĂ©gmagatartás). MegállapĂtottuk, hogy a depressziĂł, a pszichoszomatikus tĂĽnetek Ă©s a káros szenvedĂ©lyek a korral emelkednek, a preventĂv magatartásformák (pl. sportolás) viszont lĂ©nyegesen csökkennek. A materialisztikus beállĂtottság növeli, a posztmateriális Ă©rtĂ©kek elfogadása viszont csökkenti a káros szerfogyasztást. A rĂ©giĂł megyĂ©i eltĂ©rĹ‘ rizikĂłprofilt mutattak, s ugyancsak eltĂ©rĂ©s tapasztalhatĂł a telepĂĽlĂ©s jellege (nagyváros, kisváros, falu) tekintetĂ©ben. A társadalmi helyzet okozta egyenlĹ‘tlensĂ©gek a serdĂĽlĹ‘k egĂ©szsĂ©gi állapotát nem egyĂ©rtelműen befolyásolják: a depressziĂł, a pszichoszomatikus tĂĽnetkĂ©pzĂ©s a magasabb társadalmi helyzetűek körĂ©ben ritkább, Ă©s egĂ©szsĂ©gĂĽket is jobbnak Ă©rtĂ©kelik. A káros szerfogyasztás viszont nem mutat egyĂ©rtelmű összefĂĽggĂ©st a társadalmi helyzettel. Kutatásunk rámutat arra, hogy a posztmodern kor jellemzĹ‘i hatással vannak a fiatalok egĂ©szsĂ©gĂ©re, egĂ©szsĂ©gmagatartására. | Summary The main goal of the Southern Plain Youth Study has been to detect the social and cultural patterns of youth's (N = 2426, aged between 8-21 years) behaviors in the region, in the frame of the time period we live in. The analyses primarily involve the elements of youth's problem behavior (depression and harmful habits) as well as the structure of their influencing, risk and protective factors (values, norms, attitudes, socioeconomic status, preventive health behavior). As it has been argued, there is an increase in the amount of depression, psychosomatic symptoms and harmful habits by age, whereas there is a significant decrease in preventive health behaviors such as sports activity. Materialistic attitudes increase, whereas the acceptance of postmaterialistic values decreases substance use. Each county of the region reflects different risk profiles, likewise, there is a difference according to the type of residence (county center, small town, village). Th relationship between social inequalities and adolescent health is not well defined. The levels of depression and psychosomatic symptoms are lower among upper and upper middle class students, and they report a better self-perceived health. On the other hand, substance use does not show a clear relationship with SES. The study draws our attention to the fact that the features of the postmodern age have an impact on youth's health and health behaviors
