Flexible and conformal printed monopoles for reconfigurable antennas
International audienceThis paper presents the development and design of flexible and conformai printed monopoles for reconfigurable antennas. The main objective is to control the level of radiation in broadside antenna from zero to a maximum by changing the curvature of printed board. Two printed antenna types are considered: thin wire and disk monopole. In the further, with curving radius R increasing, the classical null on the broadside radiation pattern disappears gradually for both wire and disk. Increasing the curvature radius of conformal flexible antenna, and keeping all other parameter's value, wire monopole antenna become mismatched while the disk monopole antenna remains matched for all radius of curvature. The simulated results of various monopoles are compared successfully with measurements. © 2017 Euraap
Minimization of the wood wastes for an industry of furnishing: a two dimensional cutting stock problem
This paper presents the modeling and the resolution of a two dimensional cutting stock problem for a wooden industry. It is about a real problem of minimization of the wood wastes for an industry of furnishing. The raw material to be cut is a set of beams of various sizes. The purpose of the cut is to supply a list of orders characterized by a set of articles of various sizes. The problem is converted into an integer linear program where the decision variables are the numbers of beams to cut according to a set of feasible “patterns”. The designed solution is a heuristic in two stages: – Generation of the feasible patterns by various classic heuristics of the Bin-packing Problem. – Resolution of the integer linear program with the generated patterns as input variables. Moreover, based on this approach, the “Application Cutting Optimization” is developed to allow the immediate resolution of the problem and widening the stock management horizon. To end, a real case is studied to confirm the effectiveness of this approach
A novel small and compact flexible monopole antenna for UWB applications
International audienceA novel small flexible elliptical monopole antenna on the basis of the disk monopole antenna structure is presented and developed in this paper. The improved antenna reduces the height and can realize good bandwidth performance; it has low cost, simple structure, and flexible characteristics. The novel elliptical antenna was bent on a cylindrical surface which once more reduces the space in term of larger of the antenna; good performances were achieved compared to flat elliptical one a directional radiation pattern at all frequencies band and an increasing gain were obtained. The impedance bandwidth, radiation pattern and peak gain, of the antennas, are studied and presented, they have been investigated using simulation software CST and experimental results. The measured and simulated results showed excellent agreement. The novel small elliptical monopole antennas will be suitable for UWB applications. © 2018 IEEE
Simple analysis of various loading printed monopole antennas
International audienceThis paper describes an impedance loaded monopole antennas for two different structures analysed by the simple transmission line model associated with the Babinet principal [1]. The theoretical and simulated input impedances of various monopoles and loads (Resistor, RLC resonant circuit…) are compared successfully with experimental result. The gain measurement at the resonance frequency is also presented. © Research India Publications

Kyste hydatique sur polykystose renale: A propos d'une observation
La localisation rénale du kyste hydatique est rare même dans les pays d'endémicité. Elle est en troisième position après les localisations hépatiques et pulmonaires. Le diagnostic du kyste hydatique rénale est souvent facile et se base sur les données de l'association de l'imagerie (ASP-échographie) et sérologie hydatique. Les auteurs rapportent une observation de kyste hydatique sur polykystose rénale chez un patient de 60 ans et soulignent le caractère exceptionnel de cette association ainsi que l'intérêt de chaque examen d'imagerie dans le diagnostic et le bilan lésionnel de cette affection. Even in endemic areas, renal hydatid cysts are rare and come in third place after hepatic and pulmonary hydatid cysts. They are easily diagnosed based on a combination of radiological examination and serological test for hydatidosis. The authors herein present a case of a hydatid cyst on polycystic kidney in a 60-year-old patient. They underline the rarity of this pathology and the importance of imaging for its diagnosis.
