    International audienceCe papier présente les principaux acquis du projet « tomographe à émission de positons à semiconducteur pour limagerie médicale » (TOPASE-MED), dont lobjectif était détudier la faisabilité et le potentiel dun imageur TEP basé sur la technologie de détecteurs à semiconducteur CdTe. Les objectifs étaient, dune part, de dimensionner par simulation un imageur TEP préclinique basé sur cette technologie, dautre part, de développer les briques technologiques nécessaires à la réalisation dun tel imageur et enfin de démontrer expérimentalement le potentiel de cette technologie à laide dune maquette de dimension réduite
