Typical Values of the Nguyen Dynasty’s Decorative Art on Bronze Objects in Hue
In the general relationship of culture and art, the Nguyen lords and kings made many contributions to the shaping and development of Cochinchina, enhanced the country's position and influence with other countries in the region. The decorative art on bronze objects in the Nguyen Dynasty contains many cultural, historical and aesthetic values with multi-dimensional and multi-layered symbol. This has shown the synthesis of values, in which aesthetic value is one of the outstanding points. The decorative art on bronze objects in the Nguyen Dynasty take an important role in preserving and conserving national artistic and cultural values. Besides this, the expressive value on bronze and the emotiveness from the surface of the material also enhance the values of the decorative art. The Nguyen Dynasty’s decorative art on bronze objects in Hue has shown the richness of art and culture. Through the study we can see and feel the great ingenuity and creative spirit of the artisan classes. This is one of the factors affirming the position of the Nguyen dynasty's decorative art on bronze objects in the general of Vietnamese bronze art
Blaschke, Separation Theorems and some Topological Properties for Orthogonally Convex Sets
In this paper, we deal with analytic and geometric properties of orthogonally
convex sets. We establish a Blaschke-type theorem for path-connected and
orthogonally convex sets in the plane using orthogonally convex paths. The
separation of these sets is established using suitable grids. Consequently, a
closed and orthogonally convex set is represented by the intersection of
staircase-halfplanes in the plane. Some topological properties of orthogonally
convex sets in dimensional spaces are also given.Comment: 17 pages, 10 figures, adding more reference
Multiple Shooting Approach for Finding Approximately Shortest Paths for Autonomous Robots in Unknown Environments in 2D
An autonomous robot with a limited vision range finds a path to the goal in
an unknown environment in 2D avoiding polygonal obstacles. In the process of
discovering the environmental map, the robot has to return to some positions
marked previously, the regions where the robot traverses to return are defined
as sequences of bundles of line segments. This paper presents a novel algorithm
for finding approximately shortest paths along the sequences of bundles of line
segments based on the method of multiple shooting. Three factors of the
approach including bundle partition, collinear condition, and update of
shooting points are presented. We then show that if the collinear condition
holds, the exactly shortest paths of the problems are determined, otherwise,
the sequence of paths obtained by the update of the method converges to the
shortest path. The algorithm is implemented in Python and some numerical
examples show that the running time of path-planning for autonomous robots
using our method is faster than that using the rubber band technique of Li and
Klette in Euclidean Shortest Paths, Springer, 53-89 (2011).Comment: 26 pages, 39 figure
Digital Transformation of the Banking Industry in Developing Countries
Purpose: Â The study's objective is to test the impact of digital transactions on banking performance. Based on the previous research and the actual situations, it has been recognized that the critical role of digital banking is in developing the banking industry, especially in developing countries.
Â
Theoretical framework: Â In the next section, the study presents background information to promote the research. The digital transformation has changed how customers use financial services. This has pushed banks to adapt more quickly to the wave of digital transformation if they don't want to lose their valuable customer base.
Â
Design/methodology/approach: Â the methodology applied uses POOL, FEM, REM, and FGLS models to examine the impact of banking transactions made by digital technology on the bank's deposit and lending revenue. This article studies banking operations on digital platforms from 2012 to 2019 in developing countries.
Â
Findings: The article's findings showed that digital banks' flexible products and services bring many benefits with a high level of interaction, such as supporting the relationship between customers and banks and improving operating revenue.
Â
Research, Practical & Social implications: Practical implications enhanced the development potential of digital banking is relatively large, stemming from the market demand development orientation of the banking industry.
Â
Originality/value: The paper's originality and value help banks invest in digital technology as the way forward to better serve their customers
Strict partitions and discrete dynamical systems
AbstractWe prove that the set of partitions with distinct parts of a given positive integer under dominance ordering can be considered as a configuration space of a discrete dynamical model with two transition rules and with the initial configuration being the singleton partition. This allows us to characterize its lattice structure, fixed point, and longest chains as well as their length, using Chip Firing Game theory. Finally, we study the recursive structure of infinite extension of the lattice of strict partitions
Study of LaSiO3Cl:Ce3+,Tb3+ and Ca5B2SiO10:Eu3+ Phosphors for Improving Hue Standard and Illuminating Beam of WLEDs
Remote phosphor arrangements usually have low color quality and superior lumen output to that of conformal phosphor arrangements and in-cup phosphor arrangements. For this reason, many researches are done so that we could enhance the chromatic quality for the remote phosphor arrangements. For this research, we are suggesting the double-layer remote phosphor arrangement to boost the CRI (short for color rendering index) as well as the CQS (short for color quality scale) in WLED devices. Three identical WLED arrangements which have dissimilar chromatic temperature which covers 5600 K, 8500 K will be used in this paper. The initial idea involves placing one sheet of blue phosphor LaSiO3Cl:Ce3+,Tb3+ or one sheet of red phosphor Ca5B2SiO10:Eu3+ over a sheet of yellow phosphor YAG:Ce3+. After that, seek an appropriate concentration of Ca5B2SiO10:Eu3+ so that we could obtain the most desirable chromatic performance. Judging the result, the element Ca5B2SiO10:Eu3+ seem to help improve the CRI and CQS levels. Particularly, the greater the concentration of La2O3:Eu3+ is, the greater level the CRI and the CQS will get, because of the boost in red illumination within the WLED devices. In addition, the blue phosphor layer LaSiO3Cl:Ce3+,Tb3+ helps increase the lumen output. But the decline of the lumen as well as the chromatic performance manifests if the concentration of LaSiO3Cl:Ce3+,Tb3+ and Ca5B2SiO10:Eu3+ is beyond required level. This is demonstrated by utilizing the theory of Mie-scattering as well as the law of Beer–Lambert. This research’s result is important for the augmentation of white light performance in the WLED devices
