Análisis antropométrico de un puesto de trabajo en el Centro de Elaboración Administrativo en Matanzas

The study of Occupational Safety and Health guarantees the optimization of the man-machine-environment elements, which allows the physical safety and personalwell-being of the worker, an ideal work environment, an economy of important costs, a modern business image, the correct application of measures, the development o the activities necessary for the prevention of risks derived from work and the increase of work productivity. The company under study does not have a tool for postural evaluation in production processes that allows improving working conditions, it was proposed as the objective of this research, to carry out an anthropometric analysis and redesign of a job in the Administrative Preparation Center in Matanzas. As part of the procedure developed by the authors, the RULA method was used, individual photography and the Kinovea software were used as tools to obtain the angels of various parts of the body. The process of decorating pastel was selected because it is one of most complex in terms of the position of the worker. As a result of the analysis of the workplace, it was determined that it was necessary to design a table with 110 cm high, 168 cm long and 70 cm wide; from the exploration of the relevant dimensions of the worker.El estudio de la Seguridad y Salud del Trabajo garantiza la optimización de los elementos hombre-máquina-ambiente lo que permite la seguridad física y el bienestar personal del obrero, un ambiente de trabajo idóneo, una economía de costos importantes, una imagen empresarial de modernidad, la correcta aplicación de medidas, el desarrollo de las actividades necesarias para la prevención de riesgos derivados del trabajo y el incremento de la productividad del trabajo. En la empresa objeto de estudio no se dispone de una herramienta para la evaluación postural en los procesos de producción que permita mejorar las condiciones de trabajo, se propuso como objetivo de la presente investigación, realizar un análisis antropométrico y rediseño a un puesto de trabajo en el Centro de Elaboración Administrativo en Matanzas. Como parte del procedimiento elaborado por los autores se empleo el método RULA, se utilizó como herramienta la fotografía individual y el software Kinovea para obtener los ángulos de diversas partes del cuerpo. Se seleccionó el proceso de decoración de panetelas por ser uno de los más complejos en cuanto a la postura del trabajador. Como resultado del análisis del puesto de trabajo se determinó que era necesario diseñar una mesa con 110 cm de altura, 168 cm de largo y 70 cm de ancho; a partir de la exploración de las dimensiones relevantes del trabajador

Competencias directivas: una mirada desde la gestión del Hospital Provincial Clínico Quirúrgico Docente “Faustino Pérez”

The objective of this paper is to analyze the background for the study of managerial competencies in the Hospital Comandante Faustino Pérez. Methods such as: analytical-synthetic, historical-logical, inductive-deductive, bibliographical review, survey, brainstorming, problem and objective, and MINITAB software are used. As results stand out: a cluster where six groups of management skills are obtained and it is recognized by the management team that there has not always been the necessary preparation in management before entering the position and 66.7% of the decision-making positions are young who have no prior management experience. Management skills in hospital services are vital and among the skills that stand out in the object of study are: teamwork, communication, effective meetings, conflict resolution, decision making, time management and change.El artículo tiene como objetivo analizar los antecedentes para el estudio de las competencias directivas en el Hospital Comandante Faustino Pérez. Se utilizan métodos como: analítico-sintético, histórico-lógico, inductivo-deductivo, revisión bibliográfica, encuesta, tormenta de ideas, árbol de problemas y objetivos y el software MINITAB. Como resultados resaltan: un clúster donde se obtienen seis grupos de competencias directivas, se reconoce por el equipo de dirección que no siempre ha existido la preparación necesaria en dirección antes de insertarse en el puesto y el 66,7% de los cargos decisorios son jóvenes que no han tenido experiencia de dirección. Las competencias directivas en los servicios hospitalarios son vitales y entre las habilidades que se destacan en el objeto de estudio están: trabajo en equipo, comunicación, reuniones efectivas, solución de conflictos, toma de decisiones, gestión del tiempo y el cambio.

Análisis prospectivo: dispositivos de control de tráfico en centros históricos cubanos

ABSTRACT The prospective analysis of the process of managing traffic control devices is presented as part of the accessibility and mobility management process in Cuban historical centers, and its application in the city of Matanzas. Among the tools used are brainstorming, document review, direct observation, and interview of experts, complemented by methods for prospective analysis such as Cross Impact Matrix - Multiplication Applied to a Classification (MIC-MAC), Matrix of Alliances and Conflicts, Tactics, Objectives and Recommendations (MACTOR), construction and analysis of the morphological space (MORPHOL), and probabilistic analysis of the scenarios (SMIC-Prob-Expert). From the prospective analysis, the key variables, the actors involved, the strategic objectives, and the hypotheses for the construction of the reference scenarios are identified, from which improvement actions are proposed that affect the management of control devices. of traffic in Cuban historical centers.RESUMEN Se presenta el análisis prospectivo del proceso de gestión de dispositivos de control de tráfico como parte del proceso de gestión de accesibilidad y movilidad en los centros históricos cubanos, y su aplicación en la ciudad de Matanzas. Entre las herramientas empleadas se encuentran la tormenta de ideas, revisión de documentos, observación directa, y entrevista a los expertos, complementadas por métodos para el análisis prospectivo como Matriz de Impactos Cruzados - Multiplicación Aplicada a una Clasificación (MIC-MAC), Matriz de Alianzas y Conflictos, Tácticas, Objetivos y Recomendaciones (MACTOR), construcción y análisis del espacio morfológico (MORPHOL), y análisis probabilístico de los escenarios (SMIC-Prob-Expert). A partir del análisis prospectivo, se identificaron las variables clave, los actores implicados, los objetivos estratégicos, y las hipótesis para la construcción de los escenarios referenciales, a partir de los cuales se proponen acciones de mejora que contribuyen a la gestión de dispositivos de control de tráfico en centros históricos cubanos

Historical overview to the management development process in Cuba

The world as a whole currently demands that all workplaces be led by their main resource: competent managers. One key factor that improves their comprehensive managerial knowledge and determines more effective executive roles is the training and development process. Due to its importance, this article aims at presenting a compilation of the main historical moments of the managerial training process in Cuba from the perspective of various authors and systematized by the researchers of this work. A qualitative methodology is employed, based on the review of documentary sources, from which the possibility of recognizing the evolution that has distinguished this process in the national context from a pedagogical point of view is derived. The results obtained show arguments that allow to assume the identification of success and failure factors to be transformed and developed as a process for which strategic actions can be traced to contribute to their improvement
