The impact of spatial implementation conditions on the success of investment in residential house in the municipality of Mislinja
This thesis is based on the examination of the impact of spatial implementation conditions on the success of investment in building residential house in the Municipality of Mislinja. For this purpose, a real estate market analysis was conducted. While comparing the costs of residential house construction and its market value, we came to a conclusion that the market value is lower than the total cost. Next, the total cost of a residential house construction according to various values of floor space index has been calculated. A comparison of the results leads to the conclusion – that the spatial implementation conditions do not have any significant impact on the success of investment in residential houses in the Municipality of Mislinja.\u
Galectin-3. One molecule for an alphabet of diseases, from A to Z
Galectin-3 (Gal-3) regulates basic cellular functions such as cell–cell and cell–matrix interactions, growth, proliferation, differentiation, and inflammation. It is not surprising, therefore, that this protein is involved in the pathogenesis of many relevant human diseases, including cancer, fibrosis, chronic inflammation and scarring affecting many different tissues. The papers published in the literature have progressively increased in number during the last decades, testifying the great interest given to this protein by numerous researchers involved in many different clinical contexts. Considering the crucial role exerted by Gal-3 in many different clinical conditions, Gal-3 is emerging as a new diagnostic, prognostic biomarker and as a new promising therapeutic target. The current review aims to extensively examine the studies published so far on the role of Gal-3 in all the clinical conditions and diseases, listed in alphabetical order, where it was analyzed
Modelling of Travel-To-Work-Areas in the programming language R
V magistrskem delu smo v programskem jeziku R modelirali območja delovne mobilnosti. To so območja, v katerih večina delovno aktivnega prebivalstva živi in dela. Z različnimi nizi vhodnih parametrov smo modelirali skupno 14 nizov rezultatov. Izhodišča za modeliranje območij delovne mobilnosti smo povzeli po Strategiji prostorskega razvoja Slovenije (SPRS, 2004) in po predlogu lokalnih zaposlitvenih sistemov projekta RePUS (Pichler Milanović et al., 2008). Primerjava rezultatov med letoma 2004 in 2016 izkaže zmanjševanje števila - in posledično povečevanje - območij delovne mobilnosti v Sloveniji. Hkrati pa se območjem delovne mobilnosti povečuje število delovno aktivnega prebivalstva in zmanjšuje samozadostnost. In the master thesis, we modelled Travel-To-Work-Areas (TTWA) in the programming language R. Travel-To-Work-Areas represent areas where the majority of working population lives and works. The TTWA method was used in the process, therefore four input parameters were defined (minimum and target number of the working population and minimum and target level of self-containment). The commuting flows data between municipalities was used to model the local and regional Travel-To-Work-Areas in Slovenia for years 2004 and 2016. A total of 14 sets of results were gained with different sets of input parameters, which were based on the Strategy of spatial development of Slovenia (SPRS, 2004) and local labour systems proposal of the RePUS project (Pichler Milanović et al., 2008). The results’ comparison between 2004 and 2016 shows a reduction in the number - and consequently an increase - of the Travel-To-Work-Areas in Slovenia. At the same time, the number of the working population number is increasing and the level of self-containment is decreasing in the Travel-To-Work-Areas
Preparation, planning and accomplishing of the project for the purpose of documenting the architectural buildings
This graduation thesis comprises a project approach to photogrammetric documentation of architectural buildings. Technical starting-points of individual steps of the data-survey are described in detail. They include preparation, planing and the data acquisition. To illustrate the method of close-range photogrammetry, a normal case of stereophotogrammetry has been chosen. The overall description refers to the work by means of non-metric camera. The chosen camera is of reasonable price, however, it offers a quite successful data-survey due to its appropriate use. Using calibration we acquired required internal orientation parameters for the camera which is not made for photogrammetric purposes. The theoretical part is followed by the description of basic camera settings for taking quality photos in the architectural photogrammetry. A practical case was carried out in order to check the described procedure for the given method.\ud

ADENINE AS A CATION IN HEXAFLUORIDOTITANATE SALTS
Opisala sem tudi tri podobne spojine iz literature, ki vsebujejo dvakrat protoniran adeninijev kation in oktaedrični heksahalogenidometalatni anion s formulami: [RH2]2[SnCl6]Cl2∙4H2O (2), [RH2]2[ReCl6]Cl2∙4H2O (3) in [RH2]2[ReBr6]Br2∙4H2O (4).I have prepared adenine hexafluoridotitanate(IV) salt, with a general formula [RH2][TiF6] (1) in which R means adenine. I synthesized the compound in stoichiometric ratio 1:1 between titanium dioxide and adenine in HF acid. The obtained product was crystalline and was then characterized with X-ray structure analysis. I have also described three similar already known compounds that contain doubly protonated adenine cation and octahedral anion with formulas: [RH2]2[SnCl6]Cl2∙4H2O (2), [RH2]2[ReCl6]Cl2∙4H2O (3) in [RH2]2[ReBr6]Br2∙4H2O (4)
