Limits on Anomalous Couplings from Events at TeV
We have measured the gauge boson coupling parameters using
() events at TeV. The
data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 89.1 pb^{-1}, were collected
using the D0 detector at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. The measured cross
section times branching ratio for with >
10 GeV/c and is pb, in
agreement with the Standard Model prediction. The one degree of freedom 95%
confidence level limits on individual CP-conserving parameters are
and . Similar limits are set on
the CP}violating coupling parameters.Comment: 10 pages, including two figures. Paper submitted to Phys. Rev. Let
Personalised Library Portals and Organisational Change
Customised and personalised library Web portals have the potential of changing how libraries are used and how librarians will do their work. These portals have the potential of bringing about real change to the library profession and to library organisational culture. Portals will enable libraries to be more customer centred. Systems and processes will be based on dynamically linked and scalable databases that will enable library staff to concentrate much more on content delivery and teaching. These trends will inevitably enhance the academic library"s ability to deliver on its major strategic goal - delivering positive learning outcomes to customers and stakeholders

Creating a culture of assessment: A catalyst for organizational change
In the rapidly changing information environment, libraries have to demonstrate that their services have relevance, value, and impact for stakeholders and customers. To deliver effective and high quality services, libraries have to assess their performance from the customer point of view. Moving to an assessment framework will be more successful if staff and leaders understand what is involved in organizational culture change. This paper describes the new paradigm of building a culture of assessment, and places it in the framework of organizational culture change, utilizing a learning organization and systems thinking approach
