    DUKUNGAN SOSIAL DAN KEPUASAN KERJA PADA GURU KELOMPOK BERMAIN (KB)

    Abstrak Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang hubungan dukungan sosial dengan kepuasan kerja guru Kelompok Bermain (KB). Kepuasan kerja adalah suatu sikap positif yang dimiliki seseorang sehubungan dengan pekerjaan mereka sebagai guru yang meliputi lima dimensi yaitu pekerjaan itu sendiri, upah atau gaji, kesempatan promosi dan hubungan dengan rekan kerja. Sedangkan dukungan sosial merupakan kenyamanan fisik atau psikologis, perhatian, penghargaan ataupun bantuan yang diberikan orang terdekat baik keluarga ataupun lingkungan terhadap individu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jumlah 66 guru kelompok bermain dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Teknik analisis data menggunakan korelasi sperman rho dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Hasil korelasi diperoleh nilai r hitung = 0,346 lebih besar dari r tabel = 0,246 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hasil koefisien (r²)  dari r = 0,346 = 0,12 yang menunjukkan bahwa sumbangan variabel antara dukungan sosial dengan kepuasan kerja guru  sebesar 12%, sedangkan 88% dipengaruhi variabel lain yang belum diteliti. Berdasarkan analisis data, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan kepuasan kerja  guru Kelompok Bermain (KB).  Kata Kunci : Dukungan Sosial, Kepuasan Kerja, Guru.  Abstract This study examines the relationship of social support with job satisfaction of play group teachers. Job satisfaction is a positive attitude that a person has with respect to their work as a teacher covering five dimensions of work itself, wages or salaries, promotional opportunities and relationships with colleagues. While social support is a physical or psychological comfort, attention, appreciation or assistance provided nearest people either family or the environment against individuals. This research uses quantitative method with 66 teachers of play group by using saturated sampling technique. Technique analyze data use correlation sperman rho with significant level 5%. Result of correlation obtained by value of r count = 0,346 bigger than r table = 0,246 then Ho rejected and Ha accepted. The result of coefficient (r ²) of r = 0.346 = 0.12 indicates that the contribution of variable between social support and teacher work satisfaction is 12%, while 88% is influenced by other variables that have not been studied. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between social support and job satisfaction of play group teachers.  Keywords: Social Support, Job Satisfaction, Teachers

    Social support as predictors of reducing work stress on early childhood education teacher

    A profession as a teacher and teaching activity are activities that often make people stressed. People who deal with stress effectively can reduce work stress if they get resources from the surrounding environment through social support. This study aims to test social support as a predictor to reduce work stress for Early Childhood Education (abbreviated ECE) teachers. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational causality design. The survey method used to collect data is by distributing instruments that had gone through the adaptation process. Convenience sampling was used to get 58 respondents. The research hypothesis is tested using simple linear regression analysis with SPSS Program for Windows Version 20. The result of statistical analyses presents that social support has a significant negative effect on stress at work. This research contributes to ECE teachers' social support and stress, where this topic is still limited to research

    THE EFFECT OF BODY IMAGE AND PEER SUPPORT WITH SELF-ACCEPTANCE MANAGEMENT STUDENT UNIVERSITY X

    This study aims to examine the effect of Body Image and Peer Support on Student Acceptance of Management Study Program, University of Muhammadiyah Gresik. Individuals who have good self-acceptance are individuals who are able to accept their condition as they are. Peer support is a very important thing to help increase one's Self-acceptance. This research uses quantitative. The data obtained using a scale of body image (X1), peer support (X2), self-acceptance (Y) with the number of subjects101 active female students of Management Study Program, Muhammadiyah University of Gresik. The analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis show that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, which means that body image as the independent variable have an effect on variable that is self-acceptance with a significance value of 0.002 <0.05 and H2  is accepted and H0  is rejected, which means that peer support as the independent variable have an effect on dependent variable that is self-acceptance with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. The linear regression equation used to predict the effect of Body Image and Peer Support on Self-acceptance, Y = 35.590 + 0.276X1 + 0.443X2. The regression coefficient test is seen in the sig column or the significance of the independent variables is 0.002 and 0.000 and the constant is 0.000, which means that H3 is accepted and H0 is rejected, which means that there is an influence between body image and peer support on self-acceptance of Female Students in Management Study Program, Muhammadiyah University of Gresik.and value R Square 0,217 meaning body image and peer support influence self acceptance equal to 45,8%, while the rest 54,2% influenced by other variables

    Desain Pelatihan Motivasi Belajar untuk Anak Jalanan

    Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk membuat Desain Pelatihan Motivasi Belajar untuk anak-anak PUSAKA Tambak Wedi dampingan Yayasan SPMAA Surabaya. Hasil assesment menunjukkan bahwa anak jalanan yang ada di PUSAKA Tambak Wedi paling rendah motivasi belajarnya. Hal ini tercermin dari hasil assesment pada saat paticipative and education children outbound. Rendahnya motivasi belajar ini juga bisa dilihat dari jumlah angka drop out anak-anak jalanan di PUSAKA Tambak Wedi yang relatif lebih tinggi daripada PUSAKA lainnya (dari 39 anak jalanan yang ada di PUSAKA, 25 diantaranya drop out dari sekolah). Disamping itu fasilitas yang ada juga dirasakan kurang sesuai bagi mereka. Teori yang dirujuk sebagai dasar dalam mengatasi masalah, adalah konsep teori dari Pintrich & Schunk (dalam Eggen & Kauchak, 2004 : 351), tentang tiga jenis teori motivasi. Pertama, motivasi dengan pendekatan perilaku yang memfokuskan pada perubahan perilaku yang diperoleh dari pengalaman dalam lingkungan individu. Kedua, teori motivasi dengan pendekatan humanistik yang menekankan pada usaha untuk memenuhi potensi keseluruhan siswa sebagai manusia. Didalamnya terdapat dua unsur proses belajar mengajar yang penting untuk meningkatkan motivasi, yaitu hubungan yang kuat antara guru dan murid, dan iklim kelas yang kondusif. Ketiga, teori motivasi dengan pendekatan kognitif yang mengevaluasi kepercayaan, harapan, dan usaha siswa untuk memahami bagaimana dunia kerja. Pemecahan permasalannya adalah perlu diupayakan tindakan untuk mendekonstruksi cara berfikir dan membuka wawasan anak-anak jalanan yang ada di PUSAKA Tambak Wedi (Suyanto, 2004 : 130) melalui sebuah pelatihan motivasi belajar yang menggunakan teori dari Pintrich & Schunk (dalam Eggen & Kauchak, 2004 : 351). Hasil yang diharapkan dari pelatihan ini adalah anak-anak jalanan tersebut mengetahui kelebihan dan kelemahan diri, memiliki self-efficacy, memiliki tanggungjawab sosial, dan memiliki nilai guna keterampilan sehingga motivasi belajar anak-anak tersebut bisa meningkat. Desain intervensi Pelatihan Motivasi Belajar ini memiliki kemungkinan yang besar dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar mengingat : (1) Desain intervensi ini adalah yang paling relevan untuk mengatasi persoalan motivasi belajar yang rendah (2) Desain intervensi ini disesuaikan dengan kondisi anak. Berhubung Desain Pelatihan Motivasi Belajar ini belum diaplikasikan, maka disarankan : (1) Di role play kan terhadap subyek lain untuk melihat tingkat efektifitas dari desain tersebut (2). Mencari faktor penyebab lain dari terhambatnya proses belajar yang ada di PUSAKA Tambak Wedi

    THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EMPATHY ABILITY AND ALTRUISTIC BEHAVIOUR

    Life in a social environment will never be separated from helping each other, this action can be interpreted as altruistic behavior. Where, this behavior is an action that arises from the person himself to provide assistance voluntarily. Phenomena related to altruistic behavior by conducting interviews with university student subjects. Based on the results of the initial interview with the survey method on the subject above, it can be concluded that the subject shows altruistic behavior by showing behavior that has a high sense of empathy, social spirit that exists in the respondent. The urgency in this research is to be able to provide an education that is beneficial for readers and students in behaving to help fellow human beings within the scope of friendship and in the wider community. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the ability to empathize with the tendency to behave altruistically. This research uses quantitative research with survey method. The participants of this research are students. The sampling technique using non probability sampling is incidental sampling. The scale used in this study is the scale of empathy ability and altruistic behavior scale. Data analysis used product moment correlation, with the statistical program IBM For Social Science (SPSS) version 20

    HUBUNGAN ANTARA SELF-EFFICACY DENGAN STRES KERJA PADA GURU SEKOLAH DASAR (SD) NEGERI DI KECAMATAN MENGANTI

    Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-efficacy dengan stres kerja pada guru SD Negeri di Kecamatan Menganti. Peneliti menggunakan teknik cluster sampling sebanyak 186 Guru SD di Kecamatan Menganti. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala self-efficacy dan skala stres kerja pada Guru. Uji validitas skala ini menggunakan validitas isi. Sedangkan uji reliabilitas dalam penelitian ini menggunakan koefisien Alpha Cronbach dengan bantuan program SPSS 16.0 for Windows. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Korelasi Sperman Rank. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan rho= -0,127 dengan taraf signifikan 0,288 (p > 0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa H0 diterima dan Ha ditolak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara self-efficacy dengan stres kerja pada guru SD Negeri di Kecamatan Mengant

    Self-confidence is a belief that a person has that he is able to behave as needed to get the expected results. Based on the results of interviews and observations of final year students, the results of this research phenomenon are related to the confidence of final year students. What is obtained from this research phenomenon is that students must have the drive to increase their self-confidence, because there are still students who are still afraid and don't want to ask questions about their final project because they are not confident and are still afraid of being wrong. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of motivation to the level of self-confidence in doing thesis for final year students. This research is a quantitative research. Subjects in this study amounted to 117 students. The selection of subjects in this study used a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive technique. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and using a Likert scale. Data analysis in this study using Product Moment correlation with the help of the SPSS program

    Efektivitas Metode Fonik terhadap Penurunan Tingkat Keterlambatan Bicara Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun

    This research examines the effectiviness of phonic method on reducing the level of speech delay in children aged 4-5 years at Integrated Islamic Kinderganten Al Ummah Gresik. Phonic method is a developed by optimizing all language skills, listening, speaking, writing, and reading. Speech delay occurs when the level of speech development of a child is below the level of quality of speech development of normal children in general according tho their age. This research uses description of quantitative action research type, one group pre-test and post-test design. This research uses a non-probability sampling technique whit a suturated sampling technique. The populations were 10 children and the sample were 6 children in the severe speech delay category and 4 children in the light speech delay category. The data analysis technique used the mann-whitney test analysis. The analysis show that there is an effect of giving phonic method treatment on reducing the level of speech delay in the severe speech delay group. Whereas in the light speech delay group stated that there was no effect of giving phonic method treatment on reducing the level of speech delay. Furthermore, the gain score calculation also shows tha there is no difference in the effectiveness of giving phonic method treatment on reducing the level of speech delay in both the severe speech delay category and the light speech delay category. This suggest tha further researchers provide treatment by experts or people who are experts in their fields, and it is advisable to choose other types of research, such as experimental research, so that the result are more comprehensive
