    Pembentukan Kokristal Asam Usnat dan N-Methyl-D-glucamine dengan metode Solvent Drop Grinding

    ABSTRAK Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang pembentukan kokristal asam usnat–N-Methyl-D-glucamine dengan metode solvent drop grinding. Kokristal asam usnat–N-Methyl-D-glucamine dibuat dengan perbandingan 1:1 ekuimol dengan metode solvent drop grinding menggunakan pelarut metanol. Karakterisasi dilakukan menggunakan Powder X-Ray diffraction (PXRD), Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), spektroskopi inframerah (FT-IR), dan Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). Hasil PXRD menunjukkan difraktogram yang tidak berbeda dari komponen penyusun dan campuran fisik yang mengindikasikan tidak terbentuknya fase kokristal namun terjadi penurunan intensitas puncak yang mengindikasikan terbentuknya campuran eutetik sederhana. Hasil termogram DSC menunjukkan adanya puncak endotermik baru yang berbeda dengan kedua komponen penyusun. Pada spektrum FT-IR terjadi pergeseran puncak spektrum asam usnat dan N-Methyl-D-glucamine ke bilangan gelombang yang lebih tinggi pada fase kokristalin, hal ini terjadi karena vibrasi atom hidrogen pada N-Methyl-D-glucamine dengan gugus karbonil pada asam usnat. Analisis SEM menunjukkan perubahan morfologi sediaan. Kelarutan dan laju disolusi kokristal meningkat secara signifikan (p<0,05) dibandingkan dengan senyawa asam usnat murni.     Analisis Potensi Efektivitas Dan Kontribusi Penerimaan Pajak Hiburan Terhadap Pendapatan Asli Daerah Kota Bukittinggi

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar potensi penerimaan pajak hiburan di Kota Bukittinggi, menghitung dan menganalisis efektivitas pajak hiburan serta mengetahui kontribusi pajak hiburan terhadap Pendapatan Asli Daerah Kota Bukittinggi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengunakan metode deskriptif dengan mengunakan data kuantitatif dimana tahun yang diteliti adalah dari periode 2011- 2016. Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yang berasal dari Badan Keuangan Daerah Kota Bukittinggi, serta jurnal dan literatur-literatur yang dijadikan referensi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa potensi pajak hiburan di Kota Bukittinggi dari satu sampel yaitu pusat kebugaran terlihat bahwa penerimaan pajak hiburan belum dipunggut sesuai dengan potensi sebenarnya, maka pemerintah daerah maupun investor harus sama-sama mengembangkan jenis hiburan sehingga dapat menarik minat wisatawan. Dalam periode penelitian rata-rata kinerja pemerintah daerah dalam memungut pajak hiburan sudah baik, dimana tingkat efektivitas realisasi pajak hiburan terhadap target yang telah ditetapkan sudah berada pada kategori sangat efektif. Akan tetapi, kontribusi pajak hiburan terhadap Pendapatan Asli Daerah Kota Bukittinggi masih sangat kurang dimana rata-rata kontribusi per tahun sebesar 1,03%, Kata kunci: Potensi, Efektivitas, Kontribusi, Pajak Hiburan, Pendapatan Asli Daera

    The Influence Of Brand Image And Facilities On The Decision To Stay At A Sharia Hotel (Case Study Of Hotel Sofyan Cut Meutia Jakarta)

    Following the resurgence of the tourism industry and the projection that world Muslim tourist arrivals will continue to increase after the Covid-19 pandemic, the presence and the brand image of sharia hotels as part of tourism industry should developed also. Brand image and facilities are among the factors that influence guests on decision to stay in a hotel. As the first sharia hotel certified by the MUI National Sharia Council, the brand image should be strong enough and can be a reason for guests to come. This study aims to determine how much the brand image and facilities have influence on the decision to stay at Hotel Sofyan Cut Meutia.. This study uses a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents. The results showed that the effect of brand image and facilities on the decision to stay was 4.7%.  In fact, form this study, there is no influence between the brand image on the decision to stay. On the other hand, there is an influence between the facilities on the decision to stay. Simultaneously the brand image and facilities variables have a positive and significant effect on the Hotel Sofyan Cut Meutia Jakarta. Although Hotel Sofyan Cut Meutia has a good image by the surrounding community, it turns out that not all visitors who choose Hotel Sofyan Cut Meutia have recognized its brand image as sharia hotel

    Nagi Sipadeh merupakan salah satu usaha berkembang yang menjadi mitra pengabdian masyarakat LPPM Universitas Andalas yang memiliki keinginan besar untuk terus berinovasi mengembangkan berbagai jenis produk olahan jahe merah. Salah satu produk yang ingin dikembangkan adalah&nbsp; permen jahe merah. Dalam upaya pengembangan produk permen jahe merah, masih banyak kendala dan permasalahan yang dialami oleh Nagi Sipadeh terutama kurangnya pengetahuan tentang teknologi produksi permen. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan ini diharapkan dapat membantu usaha Nagi Sipadeh&nbsp; untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan kemampuan dalam memproduksi permen berbahan baku jahe merah. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga bentuk kegiatan, yaitu penyuluhan, pelatihan, dan bimbingan berkelanjutan. Pelatihan yang dilakukan mencakup pada teknologi produksi permen yang meliputi komposisi bahan-bahan yang diperlukan dalam pembuatan permen disertai edukasi mengenai fungsi dan peranan masing-masing bahan tersebut dalam komposisi permen, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan penyampaian cara pengolahan yang tepat serta prosedur pengemasan permen yang baik. Hasil dari kegiatan ini Usaha Nagi Sipadeh mendapatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mengenai proses pengolahan permen baik dalam bentuk permen keras maupun permen lunak serta mengetahui teknik pengemasan permen yang tepat. Kata kunci: Jahe merah, Nagi Sipadeh, permen ABSTRACT Nagi Sipadeh is one of the developing businesses that is a community service partner of LPPM Andalas University who has a great desire to continue to innovate in developing various types of processed red ginger products. One of the products to be developed is red ginger candy. In an effort to develop red ginger candy products, there are still many obstacles and problems experienced by Nagi Sipadeh, especially the lack of knowledge about candy production technology. Through this community service activity, it is hoped that it can help Nagi Sipadeh's efforts to improve skills and abilities in producing of red ginger candy. This community service activity is carried out in three forms of activity, namely counseling, training, and ongoing guidance. The training carried out covers candy production technology which includes the composition of the ingredients needed in making candy along with education about the function and role of each of these ingredients in candy composition, then continued with the delivery of proper processing methods and good candy packaging procedures. As a result of this activity, Nagi Sipadeh's business gained knowledge and skills regarding the candy processing process, both in the form of hard candy and soft candy, as well as knowing the right candy packaging technique.     The Students' Problems in Translating English Text into Indonesian Text (A Study at the Fourth Semester Students of English Language Education Department of UIN Ar-Raniry)

    Translation is a delivering the meaning and ideas from source language to target language. Nowadays translation is needed intensely along with the progress of knowledge such as science, culture, and technology. And it is very hard to find an equivalent of the same meaning and form in the target language. In addition, Translation was taught to EFL student is to hone the translation skill for students. Therefore, this study investigated the students’ problems and to identify their perception about the translation subject that they have learnt. The purposes of this study were to explore about the translation problems encountered by fourth semester of English Department students in translating English text into Indonesian text and to find out fourth semester of English Department students’ ways in coping the problems in translating English text into Indonesian text. The research design in this study was qualitative. I used random technique sampling to choose the sample of the research. In collecting the data, researcher used interview through face to face. The informants were eight (8) fourth semester students which is chosen with consideration that they had already taken translation I (one) subject (English-Indonesian translation). The study concluded that the students’ problems in translating English text into Indonesian text consist of 5 aspects. They are vocabulary, grammar, cultural sense, idiom, and the translation technique. However, I found a main influential factor in translation problem; that is the interest.     Adherence Assessment on Hypertension Therapy Using The Pill Count Method In Lubuk Kilangan Health Center, Indonesia

    Adherence is a major problem in hypertension treatment. Patients' adherence can be evaluated through pill count by counting the remaining amount of the patient's medication at the beginning and the end, using a pillbox as a tool to improve patient medication adherence. The purpose of this study was to describe the differences in adherence between patients who used the pillbox and without the pillbox. The research method used is Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The sample of this study is Prolanis (Chronic Disease Management Program) patients in 2021 at the Lubuk Kilangan Health Center in Padang City. They meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria that have been set. Sampling was carried out by total sample and obtained 70 subjects divided into the treatment group and the control group. The research technique used a Home Medication Review (HMR). The results of the study using the Mann-Whitney Test statistical test on adherence (p = 0.007) showed a value (p<0.05). It can be concluded that there are differences in adherence before and after the intervention. This result indicates that adherence is higher in patients who use the pillbox than those without the pillbox

    One of the factors influencing the level of drug usage is the level of knowledge. Knowledge is an essential aspect in shaping concrete actions. In society, various issues related to drug usage often arise due to a lack of understanding and incorrect behaviours regarding drug usage. Educating the public about the selection and rational use of drugs is compulsary cause of that. This activity was carried out on May 7, 2023, at Jondul Housing, Padang City. The education method employed was a lecture delivered to 35 participating mothers. This method has proven effective for all segments of society, regardless of their educational background. The general public showed high enthusiasm in participating and actively engaged in interactions, asking questions, and discussing with the speaker. The conclusion drawn from this activity is that education and outreach enhanced the public knowledge about the rational use of drugs

    Perbandingan Yoghurt dan Bubur Pepaya (Carica papaya L.) terhadap Karakteristik Permen Jelly yang Dihasilkan

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari pengaruh perbandingan yoghurt dan bubur pepaya terhadap karakteristik permen jelly yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu A (40% yoghurt: 60% bubur pepaya), B (30% yoghurt: 70% bubur pepaya), C (20% yoghurt: 80% bubur pepaya), D (10% yoghurt: 90% bubur pepaya) dan E (0% yoghurt: 100% bubur pepaya). Analisis data dilakukan dengan Analysis of Variance (Anova) dan dilanjutkan dengan Duncan’s New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) (pada taraf 5%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbandingan yoghurt dan bubur pepaya berpengaruh nyata terhadap kekerasan, Aw, pH, kadar air, kadar abu, gula reduksi, sukrosa, protein, aktivitas antioksidan, tekstur dan rasa, akan tetapi berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap warna, aroma dan angka lempeng total. Perlakuan terbaik dalam penelitian ini adalah perlakuan C dengan rata-rata kekerasan 95,88 N/cm2; aw 0,747; kadar air 18,13%; kadar abu 1%; kadar gula reduksi 18,92%; kadar sukrosa 61,99%; kadar protein 2,65%; pH 5,70; aktivitas antioksidan 32,98%; angka lempeng total 0,47 x 103 koloni/g dan kesukaan organoleptik pada warna 3,60 (suka); tekstur 3,80 (suka); rasa 4,10 (suka) dan aroma 3,20 (biasa)
