Measurement of the vector and tensor analyzing powers for dp- elastic scattering at 880 MeV

The vector Ay and tensor analyzing powers Ayy and Axx for dp- elastic scattering were measured at Td = 880 MeV over the c.m. angular range from 60 to 140 degrees at the JINR Nuclotron. The data are compared with predictions of different theoretical models based on the use of nucleon-nucleon forces only. The observed discrepancies of the measured analyzing powers from the calculations require the consideration of additional mechanisms.Comment: 5 pages,3 figure

A new Robertsonian translocation, 8/23, in cattle

Summary- A new Robertsonian translocation was found in 7 animals of the Grey Ukrainian breed. The translocated chromosome, analyzed by GTG- and RBG-banding, resulted from the fusion of chromosomes 8 and 23. C-banding suggested that the translocated chromosome has a double heterochromatic block. Deuteron-Proton Elastic Scattering at Intermediate Energies

The deuteron-proton elastic scattering has been studied in the multiple scattering expansion formalism. The essential attention has been given to such relativistic problem as a deuteron wave function in a moving frame and transformation of spin states due to Wigner rotation. Parameterization of the nucleon-nucleon $t$-matrix has been used to take the off-energy shell effects into account. The vector, $A_y,$ and tensor, $A_{yy}$, analyzing powers of the deuteron have been calculated at two deuteron kinetic energies: 395 MeV and 1200 MeV. The obtained results are compared with the experimental data

Analyzing powers Ayy, Axx, Axz and Ay in the dd->3Hen reaction at 270 MeV

The data on the tensor Ayy, Axx, Axz and vector Ay analyzing powers in the dd->3Hen obtained at Td= 270 MeV in the angular range 0 - 110 degrees in the c.m. are presented. The observed negative sign of the tensor analyzing powers Ayy, Axx and Axz at small angles clearly demonstrate the sensitivity to the ratio of the D and S wave component of the 3He wave function. However, the one-nucleon exchange calculations by using the standard 3He wave functions have failed to reproduce the strong variation of the tensor analyzing powers as a function of the angle in the c.m.Comment: 8 pages, 7 figures, 4 tables. Polarization of Lambda^0 hyperons in nucleus-nucleus collisions at high energies

The measurement of Lambda^0 hyperons polarization in nucleus-nucleus collisions is considered as one of possible tools to study the phase transition. Fixed target and collider experiments are discussed for the case of Lambda^0's production from Au-Au central collisions at \sqrt{s_{NN}} of several GeV.Comment: 15 pages, 6 figure

Differential Cross Section of DP-Elastic Scattering at Intermediate Energies

The deuteron-proton elastic scattering is studied in the multiple scattering expansion formalism. The contributions of the one-nucleon-exchange, single- and double scattering are taken into account. The Love and Franey parameterization of the nucleon-nucleon $t$-matrix is used, that gives an opportunity to include the off-energy-shell effects into calculations. Differential cross sections are considered at four energies, $T_d=390, 500, 880, 1200$ MeV. The obtained results are compared with the experimental data

Uwarunkowania ksztaltowania się krajobrazów pamięci malych miast

В данной статье авторы на основе теоретического анализа и собственного практического опыта, связанного с брендингом города Красноуфимска (Свердловская область), размышляют над возможностями конструирования и сохранения меморативных ландшафтов малых городов, выделяют и обосновывают четыре условия успешности этих процессов: 1) конструирование меморативных ландшафтов должно строиться на выявлении глубинных смыслов уникальности, как правило, связанных с традицией и культурным наследием места; 2) выявлять эти смыслы должно местное экспертное сообщество, обязательной часть которого являются музеи; 3) в малых городах роль лидера в конструировании и сохранении меморативных ландшафтов может выполнять конкретный музей; 4) требуется целенаправленная имиджевая стратегия продвижения меморативных ландшафтов на основе эффективного партнерства.Krajobrazy pamięci rozumiemy jako przestrzenie wypełnione materialnymi dowodami typowej codzienności z przeszłości lub odwrotnie – dowody nietypowych, szczególnych wydarzeń (zwycięstw i porażek), które zmieniły bieg czasu w wymiarze lokalnym lub globalnym. Wśród warunków powstawania krajobrazów pamięci (KP) należy wymienić następujące: 1) projektowanie KP powinno opierać się na identyfikacji symboli związanych z tradycją i dziedzictwem kulturowym miejsca; 2) lokalna społeczność, odbiorcy instytucji pamięci, powinna identyfikować te symbole; 3) w małych miejscowo-ściach konkretne muzeum może pełnić rolę lidera w tworzeniu KP; 4) wymagana jest ukierunkowana strategia wizerunkowa promująca KP w oparciu o efektywne partnerstwo; 5) dla małych miast funkcje wewnętrzne marki związane z KP (kształtowanie tożsamości regionalnej) są ważniejsze niż funkcje zewnętrzne (turystyka, inwestycje).The article discusses the author’s own experience of creating a brand for the town of Krasnoufimsk in Sverdlovsk region and explores the possibilities of constructing and preserving memorative landscapes of small towns. The following factors contribute to the success of such projects: first, construction of memorative landscapes should be aimed at discovering the meanings rooted in local traditions and cultural heritage; second, community engagement is necessary for uncovering these meanings, which increases the significance of local museums; third, in small towns, local museums can perform the leading role in this process; and, finally, a carefully devised strategy as well as efficient partnerships between the key stakeholders are required to construct and preserve memorative landscapes
