    Comunicación interna y su relación con la identidad organizacional en la Oficina de Relaciones Internacionales de la Universidad WSB

    La identidad organizacional es un fenómeno relativamente nuevo que continúa atrayendo la atención y la implementación en las organizaciones. Si bien la comunicación ha sido identificada como un factor que incide en la obtención de la identidad, son pocas las investigaciones científicas que se han centrado únicamente en la relación entre ambas. Teniendo esto en cuenta, este estudio buscó encontrar si existe una relación entre la comunicación interna y el compromiso de los empleados. Los resultados indicaron que existe una relación positiva entre los factores de comunicación interna y los factores de compromiso de los empleados, por lo que ayudan a obtener la identidad organizacional. Se encontró que la comunicación interna está vinculada a la identidad organizacional y al trabajo significativo y todos los factores de compromiso. Finalmente, se pudo concluir con este proyecto de investigación que se analizó el nivel de comunicación interna en la Oficina de Relaciones Internacionales de la Universidad WSB, donde se identificó que existe una alta frecuencia de percepción relacionada con los indicadores de la variable comunicación interna.Organizational identity is a relatively new phenomenon that continues to attract attention and implementation in organizations. While communication has been identified as a factor affecting to get the identity, there are few scientific research has focused solely on the relationship between the two. Taking this into account, this study sought to find if there is a relationship between internal communication and employee engagement. The results indicated that there is a positive relationship between internal communication factors and employee engagement factors, so help to obtain organizational identity. Current research found that internal communication is linked to organizational identity and meaningful work; all the compromise factors. Finally, it was possible to conclude with this research project that the level of internal communication was analyzed at WSB University International Relations Office, where it was identified that there is a high frequency of perception related to the indicators of the internal communication variable, Often (58.43% average) and regarding the level of organizational identity, it is concluded that there is a good level because the average 81.82% of the respondents affirmed this, this percentage results from taking into account each indicator of the variables based on the highest frequency scales which are (Always and Often)

    La revisión de la literatura relativa al desarrollo de los modelos de ecuaciones estructurales ha puesto de manifiesto que su utilización ha crecido en el campo de las Ciencias Sociales, además de mostrar en ser una herramienta muy útil en la identificación de las relaciones de variables. Cada vez más los investigadores se están interesando en conocer no sólo las características fundamentales de esta metodología sino, también cuando pueden o deben ser aplicadas. Asimismo se muestran las características principales de la metodología de mínimos cuadrados parciales utilizada en la estimación de modelos estructurales con el programa SmartPLS. El modelo de ecuaciones estructurales es un método multivariable que permite examinar simultáneamente una serie de relaciones de dependencia, adicionalmente combinan aspectos de la regresión múltiple y análisis factorial para estimar una serie de relaciones de dependencia, pero a la vez interdependientes ya que las variables que son dependientes en una relación pueden ser independientes en otra relación dentro del mismo modelo

    VARIACIÓN DE LA DUREZA SUPERFICIAL DE LOS RODILLOS RADIALES DE TRANSPORTADORES YACOBI.

    One of the medullary problems that has affected the productivity of the companies in general, is the deterioration of the pieces of their technological equipment for waste. In such a sense, the study of the behavior of the superficial hardness of these components during its useful life is of vital importance, to be able to recommend an efficient structure, as for the material and treatment to select. In this work was carried out a study on the variation of the superficial hardness that experiences the radial rollers of transporters yacobi during their period of exploitation. The influence was determined that have about the hardness the combined effect of the temperature, the force, the number of revolutions, and the cooling régime in the steel AISI 1045, laminate and temperate. The determination the superficial hardness of 12 rollers was made before and after the setting in exploitation with an instrument to measure hardness portable model 316 with range of mensuration of 20 - 65 HRC and appreciation 1,5 points, assuring the condition of normality for a level of trust of 95%. The results obtained indicate that the hardness of the rollers is before 47,5 HRC and 41,67 HRC and after the exploitation respectively. Also, the analysis of made variance refers that significant difference exists before among the values of the superficial hardness and after the setting in exploitation, what indicated the necessity to carry out a meticulous analysis of the causes that are causing this variation to improve the quality of the process.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.5377/nexo.v27i01.1439Uno de los problemas medulares que ha afectado la productividad de las empresas en general, es el deterioro de las piezas de sus equipamientos tecnológicos por desgastes. En tal sentido, el estudio del comportamiento de la dureza superficial de dichos componentes durante su vida útil es de vital importancia, para poder recomendar una estructura eficiente, en cuanto al material y tratamiento a seleccionar. En este trabajo se realizó un estudio sobre la variación de la dureza superficial que experimentan los rodillos radiales de transportadores yacobi durante su período de explotación. Se determinó la influencia que tienen sobre la dureza el efecto combinado de la temperatura, la fuerza, el número de revoluciones, y el régimen de enfriamiento en el acero AISI 1045, laminado y templado. Se efectuó la determinación de la dureza superficial de 12 rodillos antes y después de la puesta en explotación con un durómetro portátil modelo 316 con rango de medición de 20 – 65 HRC y apreciación 1,5 puntos, asegurando la condición de normalidad para un nivel de confianza del 95 %. Los resultados obtenidos indicarón que la dureza de los rodillos son 47,5 HRC y 41,67 HRC antes y después de la explotación respectivamente. Además, el análisis de variancia efectuado refiere que existe diferencia significativa entre los valores de la dureza superficial antes y después de la puesta en explotación, lo que indicó la necesidad de realizar un análisis minucioso de las causas que están provocando dicha variación para mejorar la calidad del proceso.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.5377/nexo.v27i01.143

    Liderazgo Situacional y su Influencia en el desempeño laboral de los colaboradores del Centro de atencion al cliente CLARO oficina Trujillo - 2016The following research was developed with the purpose of determining the situational leadership and its influence on the job performance of employees in the Customer Service Center Claro – Trujillo Office in the year 2016. The research problem is: “¿How can situational leadership influence the job performance of employees in the Customer Service Center Claro – Trujillo Office in the year 2016? “Moreover, the hypothesis is: “Situational leadership influences positively on the job performance of employees in the Customer Services Center Claro – Trujillo Office 2016”. We conducted an investigation to a population represented by employees in the Customer Service Center Claro – Trujillo Office (26 people). In the sample we considered 25 Customer Advisors and 1 Administrator. We used inductive, deductive, analytical and statistical methods; and finally, data collection was done through a survey to determine the Level of Situational Leadership of the Leader and a survey to determine the influence of Situational Leadership on collaborators of the employees in the Customer Service Center – Claro Trujillo, each item with alternative answers. The results were presented in statistical tables, which provided data and conclusions among which stand out: the situational leadership applied employees in the Customer Service Center Claro – Trujillo has a positive impact on their job performance, by clarifying the objectives within the organization and creating a strong willingness in each of their jobs, managing to improve the performance of each one of the employees, allowing a better organizational climate.Tesi

    Innovating for Good in Opportunistic Contexts: The Case for Firms’ Environmental Divergence

Previous literature has shown that firms attempt to protect their investments from opportunism by generating a large amount of patented marginal innovations in domains central to their industry. However, this approach may generate some ethical dilemmas by preventing firms and societies from more radical, collaborative, and much-needed environmental progress. We extend the environmental innovation literature using strategic and ethical lenses to analyze the potential of an alternative, divergent way to provide financial opportunities for a focal firm without aiming to prevent innovative opportunities for competitors. Our longitudinal analysis of 6768 environmental patents from 59 large companies worldwide in the electrical components and equipment industry shows that high levels of innovation intensity, environmental scope, bargaining power, and environmental expertise increase the incidence of patented environmental innovations related to domains in which industry competitors are less focused (i.e., technological divergence). We also show a positive relationship between this divergence and market-based firm performance.     Prevalência de doenças infecciosas e parasitárias no serviço de pacientes com necessidades especiais da Faculdade de Estomatologia da Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia

    Objective: To determine the prevalence of medical diagnoses of infectious and/or parasitic diseases in patients who attended the Special Patients Stomatology Service (EPE) of the Cayetano Heredia Peruvian University. Material and methods: The population (n = 38) comprised the number of medical diagnoses of patients with infectious and/or parasitic diseases who attended the EPE service during 2015 and 2016. The information was transferred to a database in the Excel 2017 program to be processed and analyzed as required by the Stata 12 program. Results: Of 1718 medical diagnoses, infectious and/or parasitic diseases had a prevalence of 2.21% (n = 38). Within this group of diseases, human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) was the most prevalent, with 63.2 % (n = 24), with the male sex being the most prevalent with 79 % (n = 19). Within the age group of 21 to 40 years of age, the second most prevalent specific diagnosis was hepatitis A with 15.8 % (n = 6), whereas the female sex was the most prevalent with 83 % (n = 5). Conclusions: The specific diagnosis within the group of infectious and/or parasitic diseases with the highest prevalence was HIV, with 63.2% (n = 24).  Objetivo: Determinar la prevalencia de diagnósticos médicos de las enfermedades infecciosas y/o parasitarias de pacientes que acudieron al servicio de Estomatología en Pacientes Especiales (EPE) de la Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia. Material y métodos: La población (n = 38) estuvo conformada por el número de diagnósticos médicos de pacientes con enfermedades infecciosas y/o parasitarias que acudieron al servicio de EPE durante los años 2015 y 2016. La información se trasladó a una base de datos en el programa Excel 2017, para posteriormente ser procesada y analizada de acuerdo con lo requerido por el programa Stata 12. Resultados: De un total de 1718 diagnósticos médicos, las enfermedades infecciosas y/o parasitarias tuvieron una prevalencia de 2,21 % (n = 38). Dentro de este grupo de enfermedades, el virus de inmunodeficiencia humana (VIH) fue el más prevalente con 63,2 % (n = 24), siendo el sexo masculino el más prevalente con 79 % (n = 19); y dentro del grupo etario de 21 a 40 años de edad, el segundo diagnóstico específico más prevalente fue la hepatitis A con un 15,8 % (n = 6), en donde el sexo femenino fue el más prevalente con 83 % (n = 5).
