The monitoring of the state of active volcanoes, carried out using different parameters, including geochemical, is very important for studies of deep processes and geodynamics. All changes which occur within the crater before eruptions reflect the magma activation and depend on the deep structure of volcano. This paper gives the results of prolonged monitoring of Ebeko volcano, located in the contact zone between the oceanic and continental plates (the Kurile Island Arc). The geochemical method has been used as the basis for eruption prediction because the increase in the activity of the Ebeko in the period from 1963 to 1967 that ended in a phreatic eruption was not preceded by seismic preparation. Investigations carried out at Ebeko volcano give evidence that change of all the chosen geochemical parameters is a prognostic indicator of a forthcoming eruption. This change depends on the type of eruption, and the deep structure and hydrodynamic regime of the volcano

Trace element and age characteristics of zircons in granulite xenoliths from the Udachnaya kimberlite pipe, Siberia

Trace element and SHRIMP U–Pb geochronological data are presented for zircons from granulite xenoliths from the Devonian Udachnaya kimberlite pipe, situated in the central part of the Siberian craton (66°05′N, 110°45′ E). The xenoliths include three two-pyroxene garnet granulites, one garnet granulite lacking orthopyroxene, three felsic garnet granulites, one kinzigite and one amphibolized garnet granulite. Most of them are clearly distinct from the local upper crustal lithologies and have pressure and temperature estimates indicative of derivation from the lower crust. Zircons from these granulites show a record of several magmatic and metamorphic events, with different domains revealed by CL imaging and variations in REE content and Th/U ratios. The first event is shown by magmatic zircon in the cores of some grains that yield discordant Archaean to Proterozoic ages. All other domains of the studied zircons have textures typical for metamorphic zircons. They have Proterozoic ages and were formed by subsolidus growth or as a result of solid-state recrystallization of pre-existing zircon. They give a range of concordant ages from 1.94 to 1.81 Ga, in which several distinct episodes can be distinguished that relate to the collision of terranes during the accretion of the Siberian craton, accompanied by formation of granite melts. During these events the xenolith protoliths were metamorphosed under granulite-facies conditions at pressures corresponding to lower crustal depths, except for the kinzigite that is probably derived from shallower depths

Patients and Methods: 46 patients with verified PKU were enrolled in this open-label multicenter prospective non-controlled study. Patients were allocated to the groups depending on nutritional treatment products which were prescribed according to the Clinical Guidelines of the Ministry of Health of Russian Federation. Clinical efficacy of the products was assessed according to the Good Clinical Practice guidelines based on clinical and laboratory tests. Results: all patients taken nutritional treatment products throughout the study. No dyspepsia, abnormal poop, or allergic reactions were reported. Most patients reported on more pleasant smell and odor of the products as compared with the products taken previously. At baseline, mean phenylalanine levels were within normal limits. After the treatment, phenylalanine levels were stable in all patients. Clinical and biochemical tests were within normal limits. Conclusion: dry nutritional treatment products are highly effective in children, adults, and pregnant women with PKU. Keywords: phenylketonuria, specialized food, phenylalanine, mixture, products. Industrialization of Ribbon Interconnection for Silicon Heterojunction Solar Cells with Electrically Conductive Adhesives

The use of electrically conductive adhesives (ECAs) and ribbons is a cost-efficient solution for the interconnection of silicon heterojunction (SHJ) solar cells already implemented in fully automated stringing equipment. A better understanding of the materials, the interconnection process and the reliability of the modules is still required. In this paper we present results of this interconnection approach focusing on material level, string production and performance analysis in outdoor operation. Firstly, the curing of ECAs is investigated. Furthermore, the volume and contact resistivity initially and after aging is characterized. ECAs in combination with Ag-coated and bare Cu ribbons are processed on an industrial glue stringer TT1600ECA from teamtechnik GmbH to manufacture SHJ solar cell strings. The uniformity of the cured bond line thickness is analyzed with optical microscopy. The bond line thickness is 32 to 38 µm on the sunny side. The peel force is characterized and the strings are further encapsulated in modules to test reliability and outdoor performance. The peel force ranges from 0.5 N mm−1 to 1.0 N mm−1 for certain ECAs. Adequate material combinations for PV modules showed degradation lower than 5% even in extended thermal cycle and damp heat testing. The outdoor test of SHJ modules over one year showed a 2% to 3.5% higher specific energy yield compared to a PERC reference module due to the absence of p-type related light induced degradation and a lower temperature coefficient of SHJ cells. With this work we contribute to the industrialization of ECA technology for SHJ cells by addressing relevant aspects of mass production

Induced pluripotent stem cell line, ICAGi001-A, derived from human skin fibroblasts of a patient with 2p25.3 deletion and 2p25.3-p23.3 inverted duplication

Skin fibroblasts from a patient with developmental delay and chromosome 2p25.3 deletion syndrome were reprogrammed into induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and the clonal stem cell line ICAGi001-A (iTAF9-11) was established. ICAGi001-A pluripotency was demonstrated in vitro by three germ layer differentiation capacity. This line is a good model for studying of the developmental delay and brain disorder
