POTENSI EKSTRAK ORGAN VEGETATIF ANGGREK VANDA HASIL PERSILANGAN SEBAGAI AGEN ANTIKANKER

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji sitotoksisitas fraksi ekstrak kloroform gabungan organ vegetatif Vanda hasil persilangan terhadap kanker payudara cell line T47D dan kanker serviks cell line HeLa. Organ vegetatif dari tanaman tersebut diekstrak dan difraksinasi. Hasil fraksinasi dengan profil yang sama digabungkan. Fraksi gabungan diuji sitotoksisitasnya terhadap cell line T47D dan cell line HeLa menggunakan metode MTT Assay. Analisis data untuk penentuan IC50 dihitung dengan analisis probit dalam SPSS 17. Hasil penelitian menunjukan fraksi C yang paling baik dalam menghambat pertumbuhan sel kanker payudara cell line T47D dan sel kanker serviks cell line HeLa

Sensitivity of Forest Structure Estimation to UAS-Based Data Processing Algorithms

Forests should be monitored and measured frequently to ensure its sustainability and continuity of carbon sequestration. However, conventional monitoring methods are costly and labor intensive. New technologies, such as unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) can be used as an alternative method to monitor and measure forests. The objective of this study is to evaluate the impact of UAS-based data processing algorithms on forest structure estimation. The data for this study was collected with a Sony A5100 mounted on a Tarot 650 quadcopter flown over a Douglas-fir plantation forest near Lincoln City, Oregon, USA. 3D point clouds were produced from the images acquired with two commercial software packages: Agisoft and Pix4D. The point clouds were generated using two sets of parameters, each with two different values. For Agisoft, the parameters were image alignment (i.e., high and medium) and dense point quality (i.e., high and medium). For Pix4D, the parameters were image scale (i.e., original and half) and point density (i.e., optimal and low). Individual trees were delineated from the point clouds using three tree segmentation algorithms: variable window filter (implemented in ForestTools Package in R), Graph-Theoretical (implemented in TrEx software), and Watershed segmentation (implemented in ArcMap). The quality of the segmentation was assessed by comparing the computed trees with the actual trees manually identified on nine 0.05 ha plots systematically distributed throughout the study area. Results showed that different data processing and tree segmentation algorithms led to significantly different forest structure estimations. On average, the tree segmentation algorithms used in this study had relatively similar percent number of correctly matched trees when applied with Agisoft generated point clouds and strong consistency with correctly matched percentages between 83% and 84.61%. With the Pix4D generated point clouds, TrEx achieved 85.51% matched trees while VWF and watershed segmentation had percent matched trees less than 60%. The tree segmentation algorithms had a remarkably consistent accurate tree height estimate with Agisoft point clouds of about 93%. For Pix4D, the highest percent accurate tree height was 91.46% and achieved by the VWF algorithm. Watershed segmentation and TrEx algorithms had 89.98% and 89.02% accurate tree height, respectively, with PiX4D point clouds

Formulasi Kebijakan Kolaborasi Pengelolaan Pariwisata di Kabupaten Merauke

Policy Formulation is a process of formulating policies or strategies to achieve the desired goals. The formulation of collaborative tourism management policies in Merauke Regency involves five parties, namely local government, academics, communities, tourism business actors, and the mass media. The Penta helix collaboration is very important to create synergy and cooperation in tourism management in Merauke Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research, with data collection techniques using observation, in-depth interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGD),  and documentation studies. The results of this study, namely the absence of a Regency Tourism Development Management Agency (BPPPK) which should be regulated in a Regent's Regulation, so that the government is expected to immediately form a BPPK so that the forum together with the Tourism Office always synergizes in the process of planning, organizing, supervising and controlling activities that relate to tourism, including promotion, tourism product development, and environmental and cultural conservation.Policy Formulation is a process of formulating policies or strategies to achieve the desired goals. There is no Regency Tourism Development Management Agency that should be regulated in the Regent's Regulation, so the government is expected to immediately form a tourism management body so that the forum together with the Tourism Office always synergizes in the process of planning, organizing, supervising, and controlling activities related to tourism, including promotion, development of tourism products, and conservation environment and culture. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research, with data collection techniques by observation, in-depth interviews(depth interview), Focus Group Discussion (FGD), and documentation study. The results of this study, namely the formulation of collaborative tourism management policies in Merauke Regency involve five parties, namely local government, academics, communities, tourism business actors, and the mass media. The Pentahelix collaboration is very important to create synergy and cooperation in tourism management which is accommodated by the Regency Tourism Management Board, the formation of a tourism management body will allow tourism development to be more directed and integrated, to optimize the resulting economic, social, and environmental benefits

Collaboration is the key word in building relationships among actors gathered in the development of tourism based on local wisdom. This study tries to describe and analyze the pentahelix model in the development of tourism based on local wisdom. Local Wisdom-based Tourism Development is the flagship program in changing the Merauke Regency Medium-Term Development Plan for 2016-2021. This research carried out by using the literature study (library research). Local wisdom-based tourism with collaboration between actors in the pentahelix model, supports to prioritize all forms of uniqueness that grow and develop in society, as well as providing agricultural values, which use both material and non-material

Recovery of the Tourism Sector after the Covid-19 Pandemic in Merauke Regency

The Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) pandemic, which has had a significant impact on changing the world, has resulted in the decline of various aspects of life ranging from economic, social, educational, even daily life, including the tourism sector. The tourism sector in Merauke Regency has also been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative research type. The limitation of the analysis in this study is focused on governance collaboration carried out in an effort to restore the tourism sector in Merauke Regency after the covid 19 pandemic. The problem of decreased tourist visits is also due to the lack of promotion of tourism potential. Therefore, it is necessary to have a solid collaboration among tourism stakeholders, as well as policies that regulate such collaboration. Collaboration between fellow actors, namely the government, academia, the private sector, the community and the mass media as a unit that complements each other in efforts to recover the tourism sector after the COVID-19 pandemic
