EXPONENTIAL GENERALIZED DISTRIBUTIONS

Get PDF
In this paper we generalize the Fourier transform from the space of tempered distributions to a bigger space called exponential generalized distributions. For that purpose we replace the Schwartz space S by a smaller space X0 of smooth functions such that, among other properties, decay at infinity faster than any exponential. The construction of X0 is such that this space of test functions is closed for derivatives, for Fourier transform and for translations. We equip X0 with an appropriate locally convex topology and we study it’s dual X'0; we call X′0 the space of exponential generalized distributions. The space X′0 contains all the Schwartz tempered distributions, is closed for derivatives, and both, translations and Fourier transform, are vector and topological automorphisms in X′0. As non trivial examples of elements in X′0, we show that some multipole series appearing in physics are convergent in this space.</p

In Article 28C paragraph (2) of the Constitution 1945, “Every person is entitled to advance himself in the fight for their rights to collectively build a community, nation and country”, Article 28D paragraph (3) which reads, “Every citizen is entitled to equal opportunities in government”, should be the basis for guaranteed political rights of women. However, parties often overlook the urgency of this women's representation. In addition to the provisions of the 1945 Constitution, there is also Election Law, Article 7 and Article 8 of CEDAW and the Convention on the Political Rights of Women who all voiced that women have equal political rights with men. But will the urgency of women's representation in politics is hampered due to negative stereotypes of women's capabilities

summary:In this paper we define, by duality methods, a space of ultradistributions \G _\omega ' (\Bbb R ^N). This space contains all tempered distributions and is closed under derivatives, complex translations and Fourier transform. Moreover, it contains some multipole series and all entire functions of order less than two. The method used to construct Gω(RN)\Bbb G _\omega ' (\Bbb R ^N) led us to a detailed study, presented at the beginning of the paper, of the duals of infinite dimensional locally convex spaces that are inductive limits of finite dimensional subspaces

Article 24 C of Third Amendment of Constitution Law 1945 is the basis of the Constitutional Court to give the final and binding decision in terms of law examination against Constitution Law 1945. Constitutional Court has a restriction to not examine the nebis in idem case unless there is a different substance of Constitutional Law 1945 which is used as the based of examination. In this paper, there are 12 (twelve) Constitutional Court\u27s decisions on law re-examination against the Constitutional Law 1945 because using different substance of Constitutional Law 1945 as the based of examination. Based on the research, which has been conducted, there are legal reasoning differences in accepting and deciding the cases which have been decided previously which the Court uses different legal interpretation and construction in deciding the case. Thus, this paper will examine and compare legal reasoning methods which are used in deciding the case

Does Reality Overcome the Expected? Survey on Informal Caregivers' Profile: A Nurse-Led Study in Times of COVID-19

The increasing overload of chronic conditions raises challenges for the health system. Informal caregivers have a major role in ensuring the quality of life of the cared-for person, despite the reported lack of working resources which can lead to unmet needs. This article reports on the first part of a nurse-led research project entitled “Informal caregiver’ profiles in Lisbon county: a health community approach.’ We aimed to support decision-making by developing an informal caregiver profile to promote tailored interventions. A survey addressing the dyad was developed and submitted to a convenient, network-based, stratified sample of carers aged 18 years or above. More than thirty community partners supported the identification of caregivers. Data were submitted to univariate descriptive analysis. A profile of the cared-for person and the informal caregiver was uncovered by identifying 639 caregivers, of whom the majority lived with the cared-for person. Only four percent planned the transition to a caregiver role, and no more than 10% had access to support programs. Approximately half of the respondents found that COVID-19 negatively impacted their performance in the caregiver role. Developing a local and tailored strategy with collaboration between healthcare professionals, academics, and community partners is key to ensuring that meaningful support is provided to caregivers.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio

Informal Caregivers’ Health Literacy in Lisbon, Portugal: A Profile for Health Promotion Prioritization

Health literacy (HL) allows people to access, understand and evaluate health information. Informal caregivers' levels of HL may impact long-term care outcomes. 'Informal caregivers' profile in Lisbon county: a health community approach' is a nurse-led research project aiming to assess informal caregivers' health literacy and associated factors in Lisbon county, as well as to foster the development of a local-specific health literacy strategy. A survey to identify a health/social caregiver profile, including questions about HL (HLS-EU-PT), was submitted to a representative sample of carers. Descriptive and bivariate inferential analysis was developed. Informal caregivers' level of HL was mostly sufficient (n = 99, 38%). More than 60% of caregivers have limited HL regarding health promotion. 'Access', 'Appraisal' and 'Use' are the information processing stages with lower mean scores of HL. Carers with low HL levels appear to be older and to have less education, low knowledge of community resources and decreased wellbeing (p < 0.05). A strategy focused on health promotion-related HL through primary care resources can potentially improve caregivers' knowledge, competencies and motivation, as well as health system sustainability. Reported HLS-EU-PT scores deserve special attention. Future work should emphasize the role of HL-associated factors and health outcomes for caregivers and cared-for persons.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio

Behaviour of NBD-head group labelled phosphatidylethanolamines in POPC bilayers: a molecular dynamics study

A complete homologous series of fluorescent phosphatidylethanolamines (diCnPE), labelled at the head group with a 7-nitrobenz-2-oxa-1,3-diazo-4-yl(NBD) fluorophore and inserted in 1-palmitoyl, 2-oleoyl-snglycero- 3-phosphocholine (POPC) bilayers, was studied using atomistic molecular dynamics simulations. The longer-chained derivatives of NBD-diCnPE, with n = 14, 16, and 18, are commercially available, and widely used as fluorescent membrane probes. Properties such as location of atomic groups and acyl chain order parameters of both POPC and NBD-diCnPE, fluorophore orientation and hydrogen bonding, membrane electrostatic potential and lateral diffusion were calculated for all derivatives in the series. Most of these probes induce local disordering of POPC acyl chains, which is on the whole counterbalanced by ordering resulting from binding of sodium ions to lipid carbonyl/glycerol oxygen atoms. An exception is found for NBD-diC16PE, which displays optimal matching with POPC acyl chain length and induces a slight local ordering of phospholipid acyl chains. Compared to previously studied fatty amines, acyl chain-labelled phosphatidylcholines, and sterols bearing the same fluorescent tag, the chromophore in NBD-diCnPE locates in a similar region of the membrane (near the glycerol backbone/carbonyl region) but adopts a different orientation (with the NO2 group facing the interior of the bilayer). This modification leads to an inverted orientation of the P–N axis in the labelled lipid, which affects the interface properties, such as the membrane electrostatic potential and hydrogen bonding to lipid head group atoms. The implications of this study for the interpretation of the photophysical properties of NBD-diCnPE (complex fluorescence emission kinetics, differences with other NBD lipid probes) are discussed
