A remark on the Brylinski conjecture for orbifolds
We present reformulation of Mathieu's result on representing cohomology
classes of symplectic manifold with symplectically harmonic forms. We apply it
to the case of foliated manifolds with transversally symplectic structure and
to symplectic orbifolds. We obtain in particular that such representation is
always possible for compact K\"{a}hler orbifolds.Comment: 10 page

Unparticle Searches Through Low Energy Parity Violating Asymmetry
In this paper, we study the effects of the unparticles on the
parity-violating asymmetry for the low energy electron-electron scattering,
. Using the data from the E158 experiment at SLAC we
extract the limits on the unparticle coupling , and on the the
energy scale at 95% C.L. for various values of the scaling dimension
Electroweak Radiative Corrections to Muon Capture
Electroweak radiative corrections to muon capture on nuclei are computed and
found to be sizable. They enhance the capture rates for hydrogen and helium by
2.8% and 3.0% respectively. As a result, the value of the induced pseudoscalar
coupling, g_P^exp, extracted from a recent hydrogen 1S singlet capture
experiment is increased by about 21% to g_P^exp = 7.3 +/- 1.2 and brought into
good agreement with the prediction of chiral perturbation theory,
g_P^theory=8.2 +/- 0.2. Implications for helium capture rate predictions are

Threshold Resummed Spectra in B -> Xu l nu Decays in NLO (I)
We evaluate thresholds resummed spectra in B -> Xu l nu decays in
next-to-leading order. We present results for the distribution in E_X and in
m_X^2/E_X^2, for the distribution in E_X and E_l and for the distribution in
E_X, where E_X and m_X are the energy and the invariant mass of the final
hadronic state Xu respectively and E_l is the energy of the charged lepton. We
explicitly show that all these spectra (where there is no integration over the
hadronic energy) can be directly related to the photon spectrum in B -> Xs
gamma via short-distance coefficient functions.Comment: 33 pages, no figures. The section on the double distribution in the
hadron and electron energies has been largely rewritten with an improved
resummation scheme. Small stylistic changes in the remaining sections.

Fractal Markets Hypothesis and the Global Financial Crisis: Scaling, Investment Horizons and Liquidity
We investigate whether fractal markets hypothesis and its focus on liquidity
and invest- ment horizons give reasonable predictions about dynamics of the
financial markets during the turbulences such as the Global Financial Crisis of
late 2000s. Compared to the mainstream efficient markets hypothesis, fractal
markets hypothesis considers financial markets as com- plex systems consisting
of many heterogenous agents, which are distinguishable mainly with respect to
their investment horizon. In the paper, several novel measures of trading
activity at different investment horizons are introduced through scaling of
variance of the underlying processes. On the three most liquid US indices -
DJI, NASDAQ and S&P500 - we show that predictions of fractal markets hypothesis
actually fit the observed behavior quite well.Comment: 11 pages, 3 figure
