    Irreducible representations of Upq[gl(2/2)]

    The two-parametric quantum superalgebra Upq[gl(2/2)]U_{pq}[gl(2/2)] and its representations are considered. All finite-dimensional irreducible representations of this quantum superalgebra can be constructed and classified into typical and nontypical ones according to a proposition proved in the present paper. This proposition is a nontrivial deformation from the one for the classical superalgebra gl(2/2), unlike the case of one-parametric deformations.Comment: Latex, 8 pages. A reference added in v.

    The Higgs sector of the minimal 3 - 3 - 1 model with three triplets and one sextet is investigated in detail under the most general lepton--number conserving potential. The mass spectra and multiplet decompostion structure are explicitly given in a systematic order and a transparent way allowing they to be easily checked and used in further investigations.     A Higgs sextet is introduced in order to generate Dirac and Majorana neutrino masses in the 331 model with right-handed neutrinos. As will be seen, the present sextet introduction leads to a rich neutrino mass structure. The smallness of neutrino masses can be achieved via, for example, a seesaw limit. The fact that the masses of the charged leptons are not effected by their new Yukawa couplings to the sextet is convenient for generating small neutrino masses.Comment: RevTeX4, 5 pages, no figure.     The two-parametric quantum superalgebra Up,q[gl(2/1)]U_{p,q}[gl(2/1)] is consistently defined. A construction procedure for induced representations of Up,q[gl(2/1)]U_{p,q}[gl(2/1)] is described and allows us to construct explicitly all (typical and nontypical) finite-dimensional representations of this quantum superalgebra. In spite of some specific features, the present approach is similar to a previously developed method [1] which, as shown here, is applicable not only to the one-parametric quantum deformations but also to the multi-parametric ones.Comment: Latex, 13 pages, no figur

    Static quantities of the W boson in the SU_L(3) X U_X(1) model with right-handed neutrinos

    The static electromagnetic properties of the WW boson, ΔÎș\Delta \kappa and ΔQ\Delta Q, are calculated in the SU_L(3)} \times U_X(1) model with right-handed neutrinos. The new contributions from this model arise from the gauge and scalar sectors. In the gauge sector there is a new contribution from a complex neutral gauge boson Y0Y^0 and a singly-charged gauge boson Y±Y^\pm. The mass of these gauge bosons, called bileptons, is expected to be in the range of a few hundreds of GeV according to the current bounds from experimental data. If the bilepton masses are of the order of 200 GeV, the size of their contribution is similar to that obtained in other weakly coupled theories. However the contributions to both ΔQ\Delta Q and ΔÎș\Delta \kappa are negligible for very heavy or degenerate bileptons. As for the scalar sector, an scenario is examined in which the contribution to the WW form factors is identical to that of a two-Higgs-doublet model. It is found that this sector would not give large corrections to ΔÎș\Delta \kappa and ΔQ\Delta Q.Comment: New material included. Final version to apppear in Physical Review

    Measurement of the integrated luminosity of the Phase 2 data of the Belle II experiment

From April to July 2018, a data sample at the peak energy of the γ(4S) resonance was collected with the Belle II detector at the SuperKEKB electron-positron collider. This is the first data sample of the Belle II experiment. Using Bhabha and digamma events, we measure the integrated luminosity of the data sample to be (496.3 ± 0.3 ± 3.0) pb-1, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. This work provides a basis for future luminosity measurements at Belle II

    We present a search for the direct production of a light pseudoscalar α decaying into two photons with the Belle II detector at the SuperKEKB collider. We search for the process eâșe⁻→γα, α→γγ in the mass range 0.2<mₐ<9.7  GeV/cÂČ using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of (445±3)  pb⁻Âč. Light pseudoscalars interacting predominantly with standard model gauge bosons (so-called axionlike particles or ALPs) are frequently postulated in extensions of the standard model. We find no evidence for ALPs and set 95% confidence level upper limits on the coupling strength gₐγγ of ALPs to photons at the level of 10⁻³  GeV⁻Âč. The limits are the most restrictive to date for 0.2<mₐ<1  GeV/cÂČ.F. AbudinĂ©n
