Mixed technologies of artistic ceramics processing for the jewelery manufacture
The need for the study of different technologies of the jewellery manufacture is due to the demand of the modern world in a variety of high-quality environmentally friendly products. While working with ceramics, it is possible to get the product, which is unique in its form, a wide range of colors, possibility of harmoniously combining it with a number of other modern materials. Images of ancient birds are used, stages of technology, which allow connecting the ceramics and metal, the technology for working with underglaze paints are represented, application limits associated with a particular operation of the product (fragility) are analyzed in the research. The society need for exclusive products determines the relevance of different materials connection, the characteristics research of their compounds, while working with them. The research objective is a bird image stylized design for a piece of jewellery, different materials compounds, the substantiation of technology of its manufacturing "narikomi" technique. Also, the research objective includes the development of the technology stages, allowing the connection of ceramic and metal to get jewellery that is unique in its form, a wide range of colors, a possibility of harmonious combination of it with a number of other modern materials
Marchenko-Ostrovski mappings for periodic Jacobi matrices
We consider the 1D periodic Jacobi matrices. The spectrum of this operator is
purely absolutely continuous and consists of intervals separated by gaps. We
solve the inverse problem (including characterization) in terms of vertical
slits on the quasimomentum domain . Furthermore, we obtain a priori two-sided
estimates for vertical slits in terms of Jacoby matrices
Linguocultural aspects of the discursive synergy
This article discusses the basic principles of the innovative “discursive synergy of cultural linguistics” concept. Propagation of γ-rays in periodical "optical" medium of 178Hf with inverse population of nuclear levels
A process of nuclear superfluorescence in a three-level periodical "optical" medium of 178Hf is theoretically simulated. The formalism of Maxwell-von Neumann equations in terms of Schrödinger representation is used to solve the problem. The time shape of the superfluorescent γ-pulse formed in the nuclear diffraction channel is calculated under the conditions of two-wave diffraction in the Bragg geometry as a function of effective medium thickness, deviations from the Bragg conditions, and lifetime of the 178Hf nucleus at the lower working level. © 2007 by Allerton Press, Inc
Acceleration of GNSS applications development and facilitation of their broad acceptance in Ukraine through international cooperation and own experience
GNSS are used around the globe in a variety of applications and the number of GNSS
enabled devices tends to grow dramatically in the nearest years. This article aims to
present the experience of NAU in development and research of GNSS applications and
technologies together with international cooperationHorizon 202
New weapons in the war on malaria : halting the disease is crucial to improving overall health in Tanzania
French version available in IDRC Digital Library: Nouvelles armes dans la guerre contre le paludisme : éradiquer la maladie pour améliorer la santé générale en TanzanieEvidence showing the large impact of malaria on Tanzanians’ health has provided
the impetus for significant policy changes on how to treat and prevent the
disease across the country. The fight against malaria is now proceeding on many
fronts, from preventative measures such as the promotion of insecticide-treated
bednets to the introduction of more effective treatments, such as new drug
therapies
Nuclear resonant scattering of synchrotron radiation in gamma optical paramagnetic integer-spin media
Nuclear forward scattering of synchrotron radiation (SR) is theoretically modeled in multilevel gamma optical paramagnetic media with the effective integer spin (5=1, 2) affected by the electron spin fluctuations in the unfilled electronic shell of the Mössbauer ion 57Fe4+(2+). The equilibrium fluctuations of the effective spin generate a variation in the time phase coherence in the total amplitude of the resonant forward scattering of the SR pulse gamma quanta by the ensemble of the Mössbauer nuclei. A resulting specific temperature dependence of the resonant response of the gamma optical paramagnetic medium is observed
Modeling of propagation of synchrotron radiation through a paramagnetic medium of integer spin
Nuclear forward scattering (NFS) of synchrotron radiation (SR) is theoretically modeled into multilevel "gamma-optical" paramagnetic media with effective integer spin (S=1, 2) under the electron spin fluctuations in the unclosed electron shell of Moessbauer ion 57Fe 4+(2+). The equilibrium fluctuations of effective spin is changing the time phase coherence within the total resonant forward scattering amplitude of a gamma-quantum of SR pulse into the Moessbauer nuclei ensemble of a sample. As result the specific temperature dependence of the resonant response of "gamma-optical" paramagnetic medium takes place
